Tried the crab cake sandwich. Service was super fast! It was a good sized portion and tasted fresh. I think a bit more acid (squeeze of lemon?) and a variety of textures (toasting the bun) would make this a five star sandwich experience.

So the first thing my wife said was why do the only have 3 things on the menu... When we were done eating all she could say was "yea umm, they don't need any more than 3 things on the menu" lol. Their food was AMAZING! The best crabcake I've ever had was from a friend here in Charlotte that's originally from Baltimore so it's only fitting that the one that's next in line (a veeeeeeeeeeery close 2nd I might add) is from the Baltimore Crab Cake Company! . I love a great food truck & what's awesome is that someone from my neighborhood invited them to come and serve us for dinner one evening so all I had to do try then was go to our neighborhood clubhouse. As I mentioned above there are only 3 items on the menu (well 4 but more on that later). You have your choice of a crab cake sandwich, crab soup or a crab cake soaked in crab soup. My wife and I both got the crab cake sandwich and we split a large soup. Before we finished order and we are noticed that they also offered coleslaw but the kicker was that it came with a money-back guarantee! It was only a dollar but we love coleslaw so we knew we had to try it. Listen! EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. They can charge $5 for that damn coleslaw lol. Well maybe not that much given the small serving size but I can promise you not nobody is asking for their money back. The crab cake was huge with all meat and no filling and served on a soft & scrumptious potato bun. It was great all by itself but the roumalade took it to another level. As for the soup, not only am I a soup snob, I'm a crab soup snob and it blew me away. Had a bit of a kivmck that I believe was cayenne but even if it was wasn't I added some when I got home and man talk about great! Last but not least they ship their crab cakes anywhere in the US or you can order in bulk and just meet the truck somewhere. No minimum order required! I took their card so I'll definitely be ordering for myself or someone else. Sounds like a great Christmas gift to me!

Pretty tasty crab cake. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and added a side of cole slaw. Everything was good. The crab cake was flavorful but I think I would've liked a touch more seasoning. The flavor that was there was good but I like things kicked up a notch. The cole slaw was good. I really liked it. It was fresh and the combination of cabbage and spices was good. I think I tasted small bites of apple in it and that was a great surprise. I'd definitely swing by here again for a second sandwich.

I really enjoy crab cakes and take every opportunity to try them. This was actually the second time that we ran across this food truck. They are from Baltimore and know how to do it. Both times we had the crab cake sandwich and it was good. Not a lot of filler in these. Portions are good size and the price is very reasonable. If you find this food truck, don't hesitate to take the plunge.

Good sandwich, however I would loved to have had some texture. Rather an onion or pickle or something that would have giving me more flavor. I enjoyed the luml crap cake soup alot, it was full of flavor and seasoned well. A hint of sage and rosemary woke up my taste buds. I would love to visit the location as this was a food truck visit.

This truck is fairly new in Charlotte but will definitely make its way. The owner Michael and his wife typically run the food truck and have moved down straight from Baltimore, MD. They were super sweet and super friendly and understand the need for quality seafood in Charlotte. I didn't get to try the cream of crab soup but certainly ready for the next time I can catch these guys. The crab cake sandwich though! It was simply amazing. The seasoned the crab cake to perfection topping it with a bed of lettuce, rémoulade sauce, and sandwiched it between two potato roll buns. I really wished we didn't leave after tasting this or else I would have gotten another! So ready for what more they have in store.

This was amazing. My boyfriend is indifferent to crab cakes and he called them 5 star and phenomenal. Excellent sauce, soup and the crab cakes was outstanding. So much lump meat and truly authentic!

So wanted this to be good cream of crab was like paste, no flavor but flour or cornstarch n old bay, and it had a ton of celery in it more than crab, there was a decent amount of crab but it to had no flavor, crab cake was dry but had some lumps (smaller then these pics on here) and "seafood sauce" was pretty much a crap ton of old bay in Mustard and pretty gross....over all so disappointed worst Valentine's dinner to date ....

The food came out quick! I'm a ramen reverer, and I can say that this ramen unfortunately did not hit the mark for me. After reading their reviews, I am realizing that I probably should've tried their pho or other menu items, but it was a cold day and I really wanted to love the ramen here. The menu says the ramen has soft boiled eggs, but these were definitely hard boiled. I put a note for no corn in my ramen, but it definitely came with corn *sadness*. I ordered chicken in my ramen and was expecting slices of chicken like most places do, but instead it was ground chicken which was a little weird to eat in a ramen for me. If I come back here, I would definitely try a different type of menu item. But the restaurant gives very cutesy vibes!

If you are craving PHO in this chilli weather we are in now. I highly recommend getting the beef and brisket it's just SO good! I've had all of them and my favorite is the beef and brisket or the vegetarian. Service is friendly, quick and easy. This is a fast fine fine spot. You order and they bring it to your table. Great prices. They keep it pretty stable.

I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

These folks may not give you forks, but they know what they're doing! Service has always been friendly and helpful, despite how busy the line can get. The cubanos are amazing - I've gotten the original and also the BBQuban. The OG is super solid, but OMG that BBQ one is just delectable and a great texture. Trust me. Try it. They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I didn't love the dulce de leche filling for some reason - maybe I got spoiled by spending time in Argentina - so next time I'll likely go for the regular churro.

I follow these guys on Twitter and was always hoping they'd camp out in the Southpark area one day to draw a lunch crowd. To no avail, I was forced to wait until this weekend! Happy to find these guys at Small Bar in the NC Music Factory for PBR Fest. Churning out pizza and wings for the beer crowd. I had heard multiple cheers of praise and glory about this truck's pizza and wings. I was even a little intimidated approaching the order window. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with describing all of the menu items. We ended up getting two slices of cheese, a slice of the buffalo chicken and 5 Carolina Buffalo wings. We sat down with 24oz tallboys in hand and went to town. I was happy to say that the wings are AWESOME. Perfectly cooked, a little crispy on the outside, not dry, tender, slathered generously with amazing sauce. The Carolina Buffalo is a winner. Mustard-based bbq with a plethora of buffalo sauce thrown in. My taste buds were happy. Uhh...they need to make a Carolina Buffalo pizza. (No brainer, yeah?) The only thing that sank my happy sailing dinner experience was the pizza. A little lackluster and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of box pizza from the frozen section in the grocery store. Maybe our slices had been sitting out for a bit, but didn't have the freshest of textures. I did appreciate the crust and enjoyed sopping up the remainder of the wing sauce with them. I can't say that the pizza was banging on all cylinders or a culinary breakthrough, but is definitely reliable. The combo of wings and pizza in one meal from the street, though? Baller status. Grab a tallboy and it's all over. Foodtruck heaven. So happy to have finally tried these guys out and can't wait to see them at Chowdown Uptown in the near future! Carolina Buffalo Pizza, guys!
