This place is the one. You need no other seafood boil place than this - they are elite. We ordered cracker style seasoned, which is butter, lemon pepper, and Cajun and then medium hot. It was PERFECT and I could've drank the sauce. They put big chunks of fresh garlic in it. I highly recommend peeling your shrimp first and then letting them soak up the juice - game changer. I asked if the crawfish was frozen she wasn't sure so she went and found out. I asked her about some thing else she wasn't sure so she went and found out. I went ahead and got the combo with the two in it. I got the snow crab and the shrimps with the head on. It comes with one potato and one corn and one tiny piece of sausage. It has very little sauce in it. The only thing the place didn't have that I wish they did was rice or baguette. You take the extra sauce and you put it on the rice while you're eating the crab and it's absolute heaven. It really helps with the heat if you go that way in which I do. There was five of us and they only brought us three or two crackers are the crabs. And we were checked on a few times and brought extra supplies as needed. As for the freshness of the snow crab I wasn't impressed. It was good but not knock you over delicious. I probably should've went for the Dungeness, it's sweeter and I think I like it more than snow crab. But the shrimps were really good especially with the heads on. They were kind of odd because one side stuck to the shrimp and just wouldn't come off and I'm not sure what happened there. The price point was probably a third of what I would pay in California so with that being said you guys got a great place for some great food. Going to a crab spot because my brother has an obsession with it, I found myself at the Crab Cracker. Considering that it was right next to my alma mater, it brought a lot of memories back coming back to this location. It used to be a bento spot when I was in school, but was not surprised that it's a crab spot now. I can't really tell you what we ordered other than the cajun fries. However, it was a mixture of snow crab and dungeness crab is what we got in the crab cracker sauce. I would have to also say it's nice, if you bring some noodles with you they don't say anything and dipping that in that sauce is straight goodness. Overall, it was a great experience. So I've given The Crab Cracker a try about two times & each experience was different. The first visit was actually a carry-out order of a 1 lb of shrimp which came with corn and potatoes in their Cracker Sauce with medium heat. My second visit was dine-in once they opened back up. I ordered the same shrimp order plus an order of Cajun wings. The waitress we had seemed to be new but she definitely did her best to make sure we had everything we needed during our visit. Not to add, they provide complimentary popcorn which is a nice touch. Cajun Wings: Nice big wings but NOWHERE near "Cajun" flavor wise. I ended up taking them home & adding my own Cajun flavoring. The Cracker Sauce: A nice mix of spices but the texture is more runny versus thick like other places which I prefer. It almost makes you feel like your dipping in oil so hopefully they change that. Reasons I will not be coming back: they went up on their pricing making them no longer one of the cheaper seafood places & after my last visit I ended up with food poisoning. read more

It was a few people in there but not packed by no means. It was your typical seafood restaurant decor with booths and tables. The young man who waited on us was polite and attentive. The food was average at best. I got a seafood boil bag with the blend and it just didn't have a lot of flavor. There was nothing special about it. The fried shrimp had no flavor. Gotta say, I love the Crab Cracker. Years ago, this restaurant was a totally different concept, called My Bento Asian Diner. When they closed, I was so sad but this restaurant has made my heart happy again. The dine-in service and to-go are both fast and friendly. I really appreciate the addition of the beef sausage option (as I don't eat pork); it helps diversify the bag a bit. The food is always plentiful. I don't actually love seafood, but can always opt for a "side" option, which is just a bag of potatoes, eggs, corn and sausage in their lovely sauces. I much prefer this as the amount of shrimp, lobster, etc. in a 1-lb bag can be overwhelming + it's expensive when you don't plan to eat it all. I do wish they'd introduce a half-pound option. I also enjoy their drink selection and various fried foods (chicken, oysters, etc.). Would love to see veggie options like asparagus, broccoli, spinach, etc. but that's not typical of a spot like this. I do find this restaurant to be a little less expensive than others in the area; without sacrificing on flavor. This is our chosen seafood-in-a-bag spot for life! read more

First, I am impressed with the cleanliness of the new establishment. They are starting off on the right foot. Next, the wait staff (and owners) are very attentive. They clearly want to make your eating experience pleasant and enjoyable. I started with the soft shell crab. Awesome. Loved every bite. Crispy and flavorful. Would definitely get this again. Next, I opted for a mix of crawfish, clams, and mussels. Came with corn and red skin potatoes. I passed on the corn as a personal preference only. This all came in a boil bag. (see pictures). They provide a large shell bucket, plastic bib, and plastic gloves. Again, these items were provided to keep you and the table clean. Nice idea. The sauces tend to be a bit on the hot side. My next visit, I will go lite on the heat. The crawfish were okay as they usually are. The clams were quite small and would likely not get them again. The mussels were just awesome. When I go back, (maybe tonight), I will certainly get the mussels. But, I will likely try the crab and shrimp. All good stuff to say! read more

Whoa! I love this place! I met 2 friends here for dinner. I was the newbie. They had dined here a week before. Raven was our server. She was very nice and attentive. She told me about the Yelp 15% off before I could tell her. Yesssss.... I was told about tasting the butter before I chose what I wanted over my seafood. I'm glad I did. The names are slightly deceiving. Use the free popcorn to taste over your French fries. You get a better taste of the seasoning. I went with a lemon garlic blend on medium. Great choice! I picked the entree of shrimp (heads off) and crablegs. It was plentiful! Now, I was offered a bib, plastic gloves, wet wipes, and a pan with a fork knife and claw cracker. The table got a bucket for waste. It made the meal so enjoyable. I did ask for another pair of gloves to change out halfway through my meal. I could have easily stopped and took 1/2 home. But I didnt! When you go you will see why I didn't. The bill came and I paid happily. I will be back to try more things. Cant wait fo they get their liquor license as well. Great place! read more

First time to this new spot. I have plenty of feedback to share that may help out the establishment as well as future patrons. I live in university so I have been seeing the signs promoting their grand opening which brought me in. We were greeted quickly by the friendly hostess who seated us. Plenty of seating on a Saturday evening. Someone came over immediately, introduced herself (Raven) and told us our server wasn't able to get to us yet so she would take our drink orders (nice!) Shortly after getting our drinks, our server, Stephanie came over. Stephanie provided us with great service throughout. She checked in with us often, always friendly, and happy to accommodate any need we had. We started with calamari and popcorn was complementary (different) but a nice touch. I didn't care for the calamari but my husband did. Comes with a variety of dipping sauces to choose from. My husband is a huge seafood lover. He had the fried soft shelled crab which he's never had but didn't care for. It was very fishy The corn on the cob, potatoes and eggs that came with it were seasoned perfectly. I had the catfish basket which came with 4 pieces of catfish and Cajun fries. Catfish was good. The Cajun fries did not have enough kick for me in order to be called Cajun. We asked for plates to eat our calamari but there were no small plates. I would suggest if appetizers are being served to get small plates. My husband was disappointed in the limited menu. Saw this restaurant as I visited UPS and of course, I had to go in. I ordered the Cracker Special Special B and WOW, it was a lot of food. It included 1lb No Head Shrimp, 1/2 lb Black Mussels, Sausages, Corn, two potatoes, and sausage. The shrimp, oh my goodness, it was delicious, as was the corn. They were my favorites but the entire dish was exquisite. I couldn't decide on a sauce so I elected to have The Cracker Sauce, a combination of all of the sauces: Ragin' Cajun, Garlic Butter (Seasoning), and Lemon Pepper at a medium level.
