Really enjoyable experience! The staff is so kind. We accidently didn't put our complete number on the wait-list and we went for a small walk to be called in about 20 minutes and one of the employees went outside to flag us down and tell us our table was ready. Super kind. Thank you! The food is amazing! We order a custom pizza: pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple and the ingredients were so fresh! The pizza is not greasy at all and taste fresh. The pizza here was amazing. The first bite to the last was spectacular and i highly recommend coming here if you want to experience a good pizza. The service here was good. It took a little long for the pizza to come out, but it was worth it and the servers kept coming back to check up on us. The ambience surrounding this restaurant was a cool, vallejo feeling place. There was light music in the background, not too loud, but just noticeable enough to make it a little more ambient. There was also a comedy show at 7pm I wasn't aware of, and it was really bad, but still a fun experience. read more

I had the garden salad with ranch which was good. Hubby had a combo pizza which was also good. Service was very friendly but slow I think they were under staffed. For example had to go up a couple times to get more ranch for pizza and to get the bill. Also had to remind them of drink orders which arrived very late. But we've been there several times and it's definitely a place we'll be returning to. read more

Centered in downtown Vallejo Bambino's is a nice addition serving authenticity the italian way. Took the fam bam out for brunch last Sunday. Like the rest of the patrons there we were treated to a lively Jazz band while waiting for our food. Mom ordered steak & eggs on the brunch menu but since we had come during a transitioning hour my brother and I decided to order lunch. He got spagetti with these huge meatballs. I got a fresh caesar salad, acup of clam chowder...to top off and take home thier house pizza. Overall great time and company...definitely wii be enjoy another trip there soon. I love this place! My family comes here for happy hour, and we've also been here for a few of their comedy nights. The staff is always great, there's a lot of room for larger parties, and the food is pretty good (can't beat happy hour prices, either). My boyfriend really likes the calzones but I like some of the appetizers as well, like the caprese and the clam dip (yummmm). Also, special shout out to Chase! He's great and makes the service just a lil bit better every time we come and he's working. read more

My mother in law and her band were playing so that is what brought us here but after having the food my partner and I definitely plan on coming back. Got takeout Cornbeef and cabbage for Saint Patrick's Day. Worst I have ever had. Corn beef was so salty I couldn't eat it. The cabbage was overcooked and chewy. Instead of boiled red potatoes, they laid it all everything on garlic, mashed potatoes. Who put garlic in an Irish dish. I tried to finish it, but most of it went into the trash. Leave it to an Italian restaurant to totally F up a traditional Irish meal. I've eaten here several times, and their Italian dishes are very well done. They should not have tried cater to the Irish holiday mega fail!!! read more

Finally tried a pizza from Bambino's. Similar to my review of another pizza restaurant in Vallejo, this is a perfectly adequate California pizza that leaves one longing for a good New Haven/New York style pizza. Sauce is fine. Toppings are fine (and generous). Dough and crust are fine. This is absolutely not a bad pizza; it's pretty good. It's just like every other "pretty good" pizza in California. If I could, I would give this pizza a 3.5. The staff was friendly. The restaurant seems to offer live entertainment on certain days. It has a bar that you can sit at if you're eating alone and want to talk to someone. Again, a pretty good pizza and better than most chains. And a pretty typical California pizza. read more

The storefront is very unassuming, but once you walk in the space and decor is really nice. The greeter at the front was not very welcoming. But once we got past that and were seated, it was a pleasant experience. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. She made us laugh throughout the evening. Everything on the menu looked great so it was hard to decide. I went with the mushroom ravioli in a creamy sauce. I cleaned my plate!! The value is good for food and drinks. Came here for breakfast after finding out the wait at a nearby cafe across the street was 45+ minutes. Bambino's had no wait at all. The outside doesn't look like much. On the corner of a downtown street. Plenty of parking. The interior is nicer than I would expect. They have a bar area, the inside is actually pretty big with plenty of tables. It's open and not cramped. Ordered the French toast with one piece of sausage and one piece of bacon as well as a glass of orange juice. The menu for breakfast is pretty standard American breakfast. Think pancakes and omelettes. I really liked the French toast! It reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory French toast, but even better. The bread a thick cut bread. The breakfast came with a small bowl of fruit which was a nice addition. Fruit selection that day included strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and grapes. French toast also had syrup on the side and butter. I really liked the sausage that came on the side with the French toast. Very juicy and flavorful. I wish I ordered two of the sausage instead of one piece of bacon. Service was friendly. I'd probably go back for the French toast some time in the future. read more

Decent food and has live music on Saturdays, which is when I came here. The live music is too loud for my tastes even if you sit at the table furthest from the stage. Don't come to Bambino's expecting a relaxed conversation with whoever you came with. Bread appetizer was dry. Save your appetite for your actual entrees. The beef ravioli i got was good. I liked that I could customize what sauce my ravioli was served with. The meat portion inside was fairly sized too. Parking is plentiful. Both paid and free two hour parking. It seems to be busiest on the street when the bars open. The majority of the street are bars anyway, so you should be able to find parking easily during peak dinner hours. read more

Went here with my husband and kids for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! It's been recommended to us by a few people and we finally came and will be back soon. There was also a live band that created a fun atmosphere. It was a little loud for my kids at first but after 15 minutes they were dancing in their seats. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive even though it was a full house. The food was incredible and my kids didn't make a sound while eating. My family and I went here for Mother's Day group of 6. My mom loves the zorba pizza they make. So first we get there and it takes a while to get us our drinks. Then our server sets them down and goes on to do bar drinks and serve other tables okay we get it. But it took at least 15 minutes to receive our drinks and when we did, the server walks away instead of taking our order. We still have not received table bread. Finally after a while (it seemed) he took our order, as he was taking our order I accidentally spilled my soda water. He runs and grabs some towels and I cleaned it up. I piled the soiled towels on the table in front of him and he leaves it there along with a huge stack of menus. Rude, I didn't ask him to clean it but he could've taken the towels off the table. Then he doesn't even take my empty cup to refill it. Mind you all it's really not that busy in there. And I caught him doing nothing and kissing his girlfriend while we still have not received table bread. Then we were there first and the table next to us was done eating and ready for boxes. Our food still wasn't there. They proceeded to bring us our salads then 10 minutes later bring the 2 sandwiches and my daughter still didn't have her food. My dad and uncle were done with there sandwiches so we asked the owner what's going on today and we still haven't gotten our pizzas. And still no table bread. He rolled his eyes and walked away not saying anything. Then a while later comes back with our pizza which were not hot any longer and he sets them down in a rude manner and still no apology, nothing. So Rude! I did bring the pile of towels to them and saw food just sitting all over the bar getting cold. I am beyond disappointed. Come on Bambino's you can do better than that for us moms who deserved a good meal and good service on Mother's Day! read more

Live Music! It was cool to hear the guy playing the accordion (although the layout of the place is kinda weird and we didn't have much of a view of him). We've come here a few times and they deliver what you'd expect. Pizza was good, wife thought the sausage sandwich came with pepper, but it didn't. Bambino's is a near-solid choice for pizza in Vallejo. Their storefront is in the downtown area on Georgia and as far as I know, they don't deliver. If you're dining in, they do have a full bar, though. The employees were friendly and the pizza was actually pretty good. The reason for the three stars is because they don't deliver and by the time you get the pizza home, the crust isn't crispy at all and borderline soggy. Aside from that, I'm here for it. read more

This was my first time going to Bambino's and I'd definitely recommend them for a new place to try if you're looking for decent Italian cuisine and are willing spend a little extra for quality. I went to Bambino's on Valentine's Day around noon during the farmers market. They had a birthday parting going on in the back which was cool to know they hosted parties and had other events like drag show brunches and comedy shows. The service was great we were seated immediately and the server Areli had 10/10 customer service. She was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the calamari which was okay. I wouldn't get it again for the price. It lacked flavor but was light and crispy. Maybe If it had more seasoning it would be worth the price. I give it a 6/10. The Caesar salad had homemade Caesar dressing which lacked flavor as well. It was a light salad and had store bought croutons. It was okay, it definitely didn't taste like it had any dressing. I ordered a side dish of it and I just realized it's a very light flavored dressing and tasted almost like a Dijon mustard vinaigrette dressing instead. I give it a 4/10. The pizza definitely looks better in person than the pictures online and the quality is definitely there. It had a nice cheese pull and was loaded with toppings. I give it a 8/10. We order the thick crust and it kinda had that under baked doughy taste in some parts but it was still really good pizza. In the end we spent a total of 67$ for pizza, calamari, salad, one tea, and one soda. They had a dessert menu which I wish I would've gotten the chance to check out but maybe next time! Overall Bambino's was a cool spot and I'll be back again! Shoutout to Areli once again!!
