    Clam chowder

Service was pretty good. The hostess at the front was overly nice. I cant explain it. It didnt feel authentic at all or perhaps that is how she is, but it was quite different. Our server was nice. Made good suggestions. I ordered the scallops and my mother had the Mahi Mahi. I forgot to take pictures of our entrées. I did not like the clam chowder. My mother ate hers and said it was "ok" The breading from the calamari kept falling off. I would have preferred that it was fried harder because the squid just felt uncooked in my mouth. I really enjoyed my scallops and the roasted vegetables that came with it. Well prepared and fresh. My mother did not finish her entrée. She felt that the Mahi Mahi was too salty. However, she had given up salty foods for awhile so it is more than likely a change in palate for her. They were out of creme brulee so we skipped on dessert. Very nice view. Nice old restaurant with great character. I would give this place another try to see if it was just an off day or not.

Location was good. Pretty dated on the inside. Everything is probably from when the place originally opened. Staff was good. Place seemed to be a spot for locals to hangout and get their evening gossip & drinks on. Food was pretty average. We got the fried ravioli thinking it would be amazing. But it was underwhelming and super thick. I got the Filet Mignon and it felt like it was loaded with salt. The only thing good was that my kid loved the boiled spaghetti with no marinara & cleaned up her plate.

They need to change their hours of operation. We have come here twice now and we have been turned away in a hour before they say they are closed. There's not even a sign on the door or anything. It's very annoying. Treat the community and your customers better by having accurate information online.

Filet mignon that looks like someone ate half the veggies in

Last time I eat here. This place seems to be a USED to be good place since Covid. But these sides and food was honestly sad!! Over 200$. Paid for prawns which weren't added. Another plate was no rice. Had rice! Never again!

Coco was allowed on the floor in bar. I truly appreciate that flexibility. The surrounding areas nice for walking Ms. Coco.

New to Vallejo area. I want to see this place get back to pre pandemic volumes. I felt at home with the locals who come here regularly. It is definitely a place that feels like an easy way to end a long work day. Happy hour menu is nice . But the staff and a chance to relax is the best. I asked straight away if my four legged pooch could come inside the tavern (bar). Yes. At table on the floor. No problem. I took Coco for a long walk near the boats. Parking is easy and off the street. Very private location near the marina but not at the ferry building. They get extra points for having Blue Moon on tap and super cold. Wings were hot and fired and breaded. Served with sauces Onion rings - Okay. I would do bruschetta next time. $5 wine red or white. Doggy Friendly Come by support Vallejo small businesses!

Fish tacos, French Dip sandwich, yummmm!

Stopped in to grab a drink and some food, and everything was excellent! Great service from bartender Danielle. The bar was packed - it looks like folks prefer to eat and drink there instead on the dining rooms, which were mostly empty. Excellent drinks, and the French Dip sandwich is the best I ever tasted!

Outstanding Service! Food was excellent! I had the Filet, cooked to perfection, husband had the Chicken Parm, We went when they first opened, sat in the Bar. All the sports games were on TV, music was on, locals sitting at the bar having a great time. First time at this location, plenty of parking, pretty good happy hour menu, and plenty of options on the regular menu.

Refreshing adult drink. Had banana liquor and other stuff. Kind of reminded us of a Mai tai.

5 star service 3.5 star food 2 star ambiance We sat outside on a nice weather day, and you can tell they unfortunately do not blow off the patio or even clean off the furniture. All the chairs were covered in old cobwebs as well as the table legs. The waitress was so nice and attentive; However, the place was pretty deserted (aside from the bar full of regulars as the afternoon wore on), so I think she enjoyed our groups company. She joked with us and checked in often. We had fun cocktail drinks, which were delicious and colorful. A variety of food was ordered and while all delicious, every pasta dish was overly oily. Appetizers: The calamari was perfectly fried. The bruchetta was the best appetizer, was SO small, did not expect such little one bite pieces. The prawns in the cocktail were extremely fresh and nicely chilled but way more cocktail sauce than you need. Mains: The spicy chicken pasta dish was good, chicken had great grilled flavor, and the sauce had a good consistency but zero spiciness and very oily. The shrimp and chicken carbonara also amazing with plenty of chicken and shrimp but again oily. Pesto Gnocchi was fluffy and delicious, can't mess that up honestly. While we had a decent time, the prices are very high and you can tell that the place just isn't maintained. Would be nice to see new clean comfy patio furniture and deck brushed off of debri and bar stools inside replaced. Their little patio could be so nice in the future, just isn't great currently.

Complimentary House bread with a green dipping oil. Not much flavor.

Food 5/5 I've been here twice in the past few months and one to go order. Each time the food was on point. One order was pesto pasta with grilled salmon on top, another was drinks only as we missed the kitchen closing by minutes. The to go order was a tomato and burrata salad and I added grilled salmon. Light, satisfying and delicious. I feel the menu can be modified a bit. They still serve entrees with rice pilaf as the only option. You don't see rice pilaf too much anymore. It's a little boring. Aside from that the food is great. Service 5/5 Every server we've had has demonstrated excellent customer service and appears to enjoy what they do. They check in on you consistently and give honest opinions and recommendations for main course and dessert items. Ambiance 4/5 The ambiance is dated. A renovation/remodel would be nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

This place used to be really popular so I was disappointed to see it so empty. Everything has just gotten so expensive. Food and service were both good. Ambiance was a little sad because aside from a few patrons at the bar it was pretty empty on a Friday night. For appetizers we ordered calamari, zucchini, and mozzarella sticks- nothing special. It was good. Clams linguini- very generous with the clams and delicious sauce Chicken Parmesan- my daughter said it was the best one she has had Fish and chips- hubby killed the whole plate and loved every bite. Portions of the entrees were big. Food was tasty. I was a little disappointed they didn't serve us complimentary bread but maybe we had to ask?

I still had to pick my kid up from school, so it just made sense to slide somewhere close by that never misses. Pulled up to Ristorante Pasta D'Oro -- this was my third visit -- and just like every other time, it delivered. Honestly, it might've been even better. We grabbed the regular spaghetti and split it between my two sons. Plenty of food, easily enough for two. I did ask about the spaghetti and meatballs since they usually run that as a special, but it wasn't available today. Still, the regular spaghetti held its own with no problem. I also picked up the mixed greens salad, and the vinaigrette is different in the best way. It's flavorful, balanced, and seriously one of the highlights. When I brought it home, my fiancée tried it and immediately said I should've asked for extra. I didn't realize it was going to be that good, but now I know. Pro tip: ask for extra dressing. We grabbed the penne pasta as well, which my fiancée said was great. And once my toddler finished his spaghetti, he went straight to helping her with the penne. That's how you know it's fire. On the side, I ordered the mozzarella sticks -- handmade, big, crispy, and cooked perfectly. I believe it came with about four to six, but they're large and filling. Everything was 10 out of 10. If I could give it a million out of a million, I would. Since I can't, it's a solid five out of five stars every time. Pasta D'Oro for the win.

We had to ask for the complementary bread and olive oil which was premade low quality. The ribeye was juicy had flavor the veggies was perfection in flavor the mash potatoes whew failed miserably almost tastes like box mash potatoes. Chef needs to get the mash potatoes recipe together asap. The portion size of the sides are very very small. Especially for the price you're paying for the ribeye dinner. Dustin, Dustin, Dustin…read more.. Vibes were immaculate. Service was impeccable. Needs were anticipated. After experiencing truly disappointing hospitality lately, Dustin completely restored my faith in great service. He greeted us promptly, brought our waters and breadsticks right away, and somehow had our food out in record time. He refilled our drinks without us asking, and I swear the second I thought I might want more lemon, he appeared and said he'd bring me more. Mind. Reader. I was craving the Chicken & Gnocchi Soup and salad, and they absolutely hit the spot, as always. What stood out most was Dustin's hospitality. It's obvious he's honed his craft. He was efficient, attentive, genuinely kind, and brought such positive energy to our table without ever making us feel rushed. After a long day, all we wanted was a quick, relaxing dinner, and thanks to Dustin, we were in and out in under 45 minutes while still feeling completely taken care of. If I could give him more than five stars, I would. 500 stars!!! Olive Garden, you are lucky to have him.

Surprisingly good!…read more I haven't been to an Olive Garden in ages but after a recommendation, I came here. My partner and I shared a four cheese manicotti with marinara, the gnocci soup and the zuppa toscana soup along with the endless breadsticks. There were copious amounts of cheese with the option to add more for all the food and while the soups were thin, they're made fresh daily and taste exactly like their ingredients. The gnocci was soft and pliable and what I ended up focusing most on in the gnocci soup. the zuppa toscana tasted strongly of bacon ( i love bacon so that's a win for me) and had chunks of sliced potato in it. All the food leaned on the saltier side, with the manicotti tasting a bit sour due to the sauce but for the price and quantity, you truly cannot complain. Service is friendly and fast! The restaurant is well staffed and the ambiance is warm and inviting. My partner and I went on a Tuesday at 11 am to beat the lunch rush so we got seated quickly. As time went on though, the restaurant got filled up fast. Overall, this was a pretty pleasant experience! Do be cautious about the sodium intake and the breadsticks ( 140 kCal EACH.. but they're so tasty). Come visit this SPECIFIC Olive Garden with family to fill up on food and chat. Well staffed, quick service and surprisingly good food .
