Hot noodles and tofu - lighting was bad
    Teresa E.

We went for the good reviews and vegan options. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a bit - mostly people Come to take out. It was clean. The server was very nice. I felt like my order had been microwaved- the chicken did not taste fresh or look it. I was a little disappointed. My daughter got a soup with the see through noodles and tofu and she loved hers. So she gave it a 5 I gave it a 2 so we are collectively giving it a 3.

10/10 all around. We will definitely be back and we only wish it was closer to us...we'd probably be ordering every week. It's in a strip mall and very unassuming from the outside but you walk in and it's beautifully decorated and has a more upscale feel to it than you'd expect. The server was quietly attentive. We were the only ones in the restaurant (I hope they get enough business to stay open) so our food came out very quickly. We ordered the drunken noodle and the red curry, both at medium heat. Both were absolutely delicious. We didn't want either to end even though we were full! The spicy drunken noodle was a nice blend of oily spice and savory flavor with a hint of sweetness. So so delicious and nicely balanced flavor profile. The red curry was rich, creamy, and smooth with a more forward sweetness from the coconut and a bit of spiciness that wasn't overpowering even after I added more heat. The bill for these two dishes at dinner time was only $28 after tax. Feels like it's impossible to leave a restaurant full, thoroughly satisfied with the flavor and quality AND paying less than $50 for two entrees! We definitely recommend!!

Coconut Red Noodles with Dumplings as my protein choice (N.7) - Extremely good, I can't wait to order it again.

Delicious! The food took a little while but there were a lot of togo orders coming in and out so I suspect that's why. I got to enjoy my Green Tea while waiting. The Coconut Red Noodle Soup with Dumplings as my protein choice was phenomenal. Plus they gave me a big bowl! Leftovers for tomorrow, which I am looking forward to. I'll definitely be returning, this is officially my Thai go-to :)

Went to Thai Noodle City on a quiet Saturday night. The place is small but cozy and clean. The owner helped us and she was very friendly and helpful. I ordered Pad Thai with pork , my go-to. My wife ordered the ramen noodles. I ordered medium heat and she ordered mild. The portions were decent size and the quality was good. I would have like a bit more sauce on mine but in combination with the side sauces it was tasty. I would definitely go back.

Decent food, but they never answer the phone when you try to call ahead to place an order.

My usual Thai take out is closed on Mondays, and glad it was otherwise I wouldn't have found this little gem. Ordered over phone and lady was super nice. My order was processed promptly. The restaurant is small but cute. The dumplings were good. The pad Thai was delicious tho a tad dry. The mango sticky rice was sooo good and the portion is generous with an entire mango in there! I'll be coming back to try that Thai ice tea and curries.

Very tasty Thai food and they give a decent amount unlike other restaurants. We had the panang, dumplings, and Pad Thai. We will be back for sure.

I quite like this method since you don't have to think about the various ingredients to order. The serving size is good for ~$18 a pot, and comes with a good selection of ingredients. You can add more ingredients for additional cost, to further customize it. The presentation is beautiful- the hotpot is served on this beautiful "platter" with room for a heated flame to keep your pot warm as you eat. Individual hot pots are also more hygienic! I tried the healthy veggie pot- delicious and tasty soup! I enjoyed my meal. My parents enjoyed the kimchi hot pot and beef noodle soup as well. There is also a good selection of appetizers. Service was excellent, attentive and quick. The restaurant was fairly empty/ quiet a little after usual lunch time (~2pm) on a Sunday. A great addition to the Daytona beach area! Who knew I'd find comforting Vietnamese food across from the Speedway!…read more I had just flown into Daytona Beach and, after settling into my hotel room, I came to Mama's Kitchen for dinner. Right away, we were greeted by a young lady and gentleman, and were directed to sit at one of the tables. The restaurant was clean and spacious. They had a cute little Vietnamese cart in the middle of the restaurant to bring a bit of Vietnam into its design. They also had a wall with a beautiful drawing. We ordered a few things from their menu, starting off with egg rolls and Bahn Mi with sweet potato fries. Whatever dip it came with was delicious - and that's coming from someone who doesn't like the orange sweet potatoes! We also ordered entrees such as their Bo Kho and Bo Ne. Both stews were delicious. For drinks, we had a Tamarind drink and a Kumquat drink - both of which were refreshing. Overall, I really liked the food here. And the decor was simple and the service was attentive. The gentleman who brought our food out was also very careful with making sure there were no peanuts in any of our dishes. I'd love to come back here again on my next visit and try a new dish!

We did not order any beverages other than water. The service was very slow and I almost got up to remind our server that we had ordered food and were still waiting. I sampled my wife's pho and found it had a good flavor. The tendon and tripe were over cooked and a bit mushy. The other meats were cooked ok. The plate of condiments (bean sprouts, basil and peppers) were very skippy. At $18, I felt the Pho needed to be better. At $20, the Bo Ne lacked in a few areas and following this dining experience I probably wouldn't order it again. First off, I ordered this dish because it looked good and from the picture. On the menu it says "Vietnamese beef tenderloin" on the menu. The dish I was served looked much different than what I saw on the menu. The pickled carrots and radish must of had the day off on this night. Back to the tenderloin. In my years as a chef, I will tell you that there is only one piece of meat that is more tender than any other cut of meat from the cow and that is the tenderloin. What was served me was closer related to a tough cut or sirloin that tightened up so much when cooked, that every piece of meat I had to chew and chew to get past the grizzle. Once chewed, I needed to remove the meat from my mouth. See picture of the bread basket for the remnants of their so called beef tenderloin. The sauce that the meat was swimming in had a good taste. The liver pate was bland and was melting away into the sauce of the dish. One positive note about the experience is that the bread was superb! We may go back again sometime in the future but not any time soon.
