This review is based on customer service. I have always loved bamboo and I recommend all family and friends here, however today and the last couple times I have come I have dealt with Philips messed up attitude when your asking for something particular or don't like something. When you pay $100 or more for some nails there should be no issue on getting exactly what you want. Today I showed him a pic as usual but told him clearly, this is how I want shape and length only, I'm not asking for this design. Im still looking and deciding on that, he said ok then came back with the materials for the design in the photo i showed him. I just had said to him I'm not asking for this design, this is how I want the shape and size. I did find the design I did want and after nails were glued on and cut to my liked size I showed him the design I wanted. He then snapped at me super loudly and said "you changed your mind!!! " then started talking shit I'm pretty sure in his language to the other staff there. I didn't even argue with him I just said yea so this is what I would like to do with my nails. After that he had an attitude the whole time doing my Nails. Awkward! After all was said and done my nails still weren't like the pic and I didn't even want to ask for him to fix it because God only knows what kind of scene he would make so I paid the 106 dollars and left. This is the last time I will ever give him my business and that's pretty unfortunate because he does a nice job and takes his time. But I will not allow anyone to yell at me or disrespect me when your providing me with a service, not vise versa. Updated: Philip I don't need lessons on how to be respectful, you do. And asking you to do your job isn't asking you to be a slave. You didn't do anything extra nor did you do my nails the way I asked them And i changed my mind. You didn't do what I asked for to begin with. I never undervalue someone's job or a service when they're doing it correctly and respectfully. You treat people like you're doing us a favor to sit in your nail salon. No honey, not accurate. But that's fine and you absolutely won't get people like me in there again. The ambiance felt more like a factory, super noisy from the workers talking to each other from across the room and you were in an assembly line getting your nails worked on. Came in because of the reviews, but the moment I walked in I should've just left. Was asked what service I wanted, went in for madi pedi. I was sat down and was immediately worked on, think that's a good thing? They don't have OPI or Essie, not sure what brand nail polish they used but you choose from a book. The guy that did my manicure cut too deep and I started bleeding from TWO of my fingers and all he said was oops. No joke, they took 30 min or less. I entered and asked if they could do a design ahead of time and the man said yes. I sat down and I pick my colors according to the design and when she attempts to do the design she says she cant. I went here for the first time since my regular place was closed. They had tents set up outside and they take your temperature. I felt safe. My full set with the colored powder was done by Lily. She did a good job but I had to remind her to be gentle. My cuticles are sensitive. All in all I had a good experience and would return. read more

This used to be my favorite place! They do a good job on your nails and they have different color variety. But their customer service is definitely not worth it! Philip & whom I believe is his wife are extremely rude! They should really work on that! Both of them!! They come off to their customers completely aggressively if you tell them that they're hurting you or that it's not the right color. I wish I could give a zero star! I just got my nails done by Phillip who sits in the front. I should have listened to the reviews. He cut my skin while filing my nails and as I pulled back as an automatic reaction, he grabs my hand and says, "RELAX!". I said, "You cut my skin". He responds by grabbing my hand again in a rude manner and repeats, "RELAX"! Not even a "sorry" because I know it wasn't intentional. I gave him a ZERO tip. His tip should have been, "Next time you cut a customers skin, a simple sorry goes a long way". I will never be back!! Don't say you haven't been warned. Customers walk in and they say 5 minutes when it's really close to an hour! I wish I knew where Sam went. He was great!! No wonder he left. He didn't want to work with that jerk of a boss Phillip!! Found this place here on yelp because we're new to the neighborhood and don't have a go to place yet. But I think we found it ! Our appointment was at 6 and although busy we were with our feet in the water by 6:10 I Wish I would've got some names but the ladies were so attentive while doing our pedicures. They have matching gel and no gel polish so it makes it so much easier. A young boy did my manicure it felt like it was my little brother but don't be fooled! He is good at what he does! He was a perfectionist painting my nails and then that mini hand massage he did was good. There was two little kids running around, but I didn't mind it. Everyone was friendly they all shouted bye thank you as we walked out the door. I love my nails So happy with the overall experience here at bamboo nails spa will definitely be back!! First of all, customer service is so unprofessional. My mother went in for a regular manicure and pedicure and the ladies who worked there did not do what they were asked for. They instead put gel polish on her manicure and pedicure and decided to ignore her when she kept repeating SHE DID NOT WANT GEL. My mother does not speak fluent English but they still understood my mom when she asked for the services so how is it that they kept ignoring her? Unfortunately I was not there to assist her but another client who were getting her nails down stood up for my mother and translated for her. Obviously my mother let it be and didn't act immature and STILL PAID. quick tip for the people who work there, work on your customer service bc that can really affect a business and with a snap of a finger, you guys can loose clientele. read more

Came in to get a mani pedi, I had acrylics and needed then removed... normally at any salon they will begin to soak in acetone right away so that it's easy to come off. But no, they started my pedi and I reminded them I need my acrylic removed...so she (Maurine) cracked the nail and yanked it very rough...it started bleeding all over the place and she just tried acting like nothing happened and tried going on to the next one Without saying sorry or ANYTHING i immediately told her to stop and she insisted she needed to finish. First time at this location. Found it on yelp, as it had 4 stars, I decided to check it out. Not a fan. I got a gel manicure. The girl did not take her time with my nails. It's sloppy and i had to tell her numerous times to fix the bubbles in the polish on several nails. I previously broke one of my nails and I had glue on it(Pinterest dyi broken nail repair) she didn't even bother to smooth it out and even it. Edges are messy and one of my nails, the gel is lifting on already. The day after. Smh. Yeah it was only $24 and I guess you get what you pay for. I have visited this location 4 times now. The first three times, I've had the male technicians work on my acrylics. They do an AMAZING job. I love their work. This past time. Not so much. I went in at 10 on a Thursday. I assumed it would be slow, and it appeared that I was correct. I didn't have an appointment so that is why I didn't give them a lower rating, I probably should've made an appointment. Anyways, I waited for 10 mins for someone to be able to work on me which was completely reasonable. I needed my acrylics removed and then new ones put on. I was literally there until 12:45! I feel like this should've taken a LOT less time! It's taken 45 mins for a normal acrylic appointment, and the removal took 30 mins. I don't know why I was there for almost 3 hours! I don't know my female technician's name, but she was extremely slow. I requested my nails to have a different color on my ring fingers - which she forgot until she had already painted both of them.
