Been here several times over the years and finally feel compelled to give them a review. This time we came with a large group, which they handled very well. The host servers and cooks did a great job serving and entertaining our party of 20. The food was on point. I noticed that several members of our party, including myself, completely cleared our plates. I had the filet and chicken hibachi and though the chicken was a tad tough, everything else that touched my plate were piping hot and very flavorful. I even ended up swiping some carrots and grilled onions from my wife's plate. They were great at separating our checks after the dinner. They did include a 18% "service charge" due to our party size, and I'm completely fine with it. I added an additional 10% on top, totally worth it. Seated immediately. Nice atmosphere. Friendly server. The food was great. My only issue was that my daughter was last to receive her food. I believe kids should always receive their food first, if not at the same time as everyone else. But it was 6 minutes after we got our food that hers finally came out. This is our most favorite sushi spot in Mobile. We come for the sushi but have had the hibachi several times. We always have a great experience at the hibachi table but when we have our daughter, we usually just sit in the dining room. The hibachi chefs are funny, interactive, and excellent cooks. However, even when you sit in the dining room, hibachi is still an option to order. They have great happy hour specials during the week. And their menu is very reasonably priced. Our favorites are the pink lady roll and spider roll. The appetizer soup and salad are your typical options but very tasty. The staff is so sweet and very attentive. Teach your chiefs what a steak should look like when a customer orders what they want, not what the chief thinks... and says oops !!!! Went to this restaurant for an anniversary party. The floor was so slick and oily it made us nervous because we had some older family members with us and we didn't want them to fall. The male server was rather abrupt and rude to us. We ordered our meals and the chef came out and was rather underwhelming. For a hibachi experience the chef didn't do anything entertaining at all. He just cooked the food and asked us how we were doing a few times and then served the food. No tricks, no flaming onion volcano, no nothing. For almost $30 per person we had expected a bit more of an experience than that. read more

The restaurant is alright. The food is just ok. Nothing spectacular as far as food. Prices have gone up expect to pay $15 up per person for anything Hibachi. Sushi was average. The building and furnishings are run down and the Lake is empty. We went outside to the deck where I noticed a large hole in the deck floor someone could step in a huge safety concern and very dangerous at night. Be extra careful if you go on the deck. The staff is nice and the manager was visibly asking patrons if everything was going ok. Overall still a good lunch experience. read more

I love this yummy hibachi restaurant. You get a lot of food for your money and a show!!! The salad is great and I love the dressing on it. The soup, though, is delicious. It just kind of warms you up and make me want more! My hubby and I both ordered the steak (cooked medium) and shrimp . Of course it comes with fried rice, noodles, and yummy fresh veggies. Of course you can drizzle all the yum yum sauce you want on it! Our server was pretty attentive. We did have to flag her down once to get refills and she did mix up the orders at the table. Luckily our chef went over it with us and just didn't assume and got us all straight. He put on a great show and made the food taste absolutely delicious. The noodles are not right and absolutely no veggies in sight. Absolutely horrible! I was offered my money back ( the least they could do) but was given a sorry excuse of why my dish was not done correctly. The manager blamed Covid ‍. It seems a bit sketchy at first because it's in the middle of nowhere, but don't be fooled, the food is DELICIOUS!! We ordered the filet and scallop hibachi dinner and three sushi rolls: crunchy tempura roll, fried yummy yummy roll, and the monster roll. Soup and salad comes with every entree and was just the perfect touch. We were stuffed! Everything came out within 10 minutes. The service was amazing and the food even better. We have frequented this location about ten times now so I would say it's a hit. I typically get the chicken hibachi or shrimp fried rice. They are both delicious and come with generous portions. I always have enough for two meals. The only thing a little confusing is we've had some inconsistencies with our to-go orders. Sometimes I get soup and salad with my hibachi and sometimes I don't. We always get it when we dine in but we haven't dined in due to COVID concerns. We always order during dinner hours so I am confused what the rhyme or reason is for whether or not your meal comes with soup and salad. Yesterday we ordered hibachi again and didn't get soup or salad (6pm on a Saturday) with it. So I am not sure whether or not it comes with it or if it doesn't. Besides that though, I do think the food is really tasty and the people are really nice. read more

Their soup is bursting with full flavor lots of onions and mushrooms. Their ginger dressing is creamier than most hibachi restaurants and also full of flavor. The yum yum sauce has more garlic than most places but it was honestly the best I have ever had!! I had the hibachi shrimp and it was excellent. Loved the rice and noodles too.
