I decided to try this place for the first time today. Overall it was a disappointment. It's primarily an all you can eat restaurant with a wide variety to choose from, especially sushi. But there is a regular menu to choose from as well if you're not wanting the all you can eat option. Mid afternoon on a Saturday there was no wait for a table. Service was decent. I ordered from the regular menu. The food is mediocre. I didn't realize just how good my regular Asian restaurants I usually go to were until I ate here. In fact, there's another Asian restaurant in the same shopping center that is way better. I probably won't be back or recommend it to anyone. I guess if you're into all you can eat ($25.49) or want to try a lot of their sushi it might be worth it for some. read more

First thing you need to know is that this place is all you can eat but is NOT a buffet. The have appetizers, soup, sushi, hibachi and ice cream for dessert. The cost is $23+ food was yummy. There is nothing good about this place. Atmosphere, food, service. Claim all you can eat but come by once every half hour and you have to order one plate at a time. No alcohol service anymore. They don't serve condiments with the sushi unless you ask. The tables are sticky and dirty. The fish tastes like it's washed in bleach water. I think my only complaint is my deep fried roll wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped and my salmon roll had a slight "fishy" taste usually indicating a lower grade of fish. Visited after Christmas towards the end of lunch service. Our waitress was busy and didn't make eye contact unless specifically waiting on our table. Since we needed real forks, yumyum sauce, etc in addition to the usual service of ordering and drink refills, it slowed the pace of the meal. Dishes are delivered directly from the kitchens by different staff. Let's look at the food: I ordered the Crazy Friday Roll with "shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and salmon inside with snow crabmeat, crab stick and crunchy(ies). Sauce: spicy mayo and eel sauce." Sushi was was delicious! We also ordered shrimp tempura, crabmeat wonton, spring roll, Hibachi Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, and vegetables fried rice. These were mostly mehhh. Hibachi not as strong as the sushi here. These are tapas like servings and it's printed on menus additional charge for leftovers. I get this could be an issue, but for first time visitors it might limit your experience if you dislike a dish and take the leftover warning too seriously. This is an old chain bistro like building with many booths centered around an open bar like area/ sushi prep. Apps did arrive first and entree plates soon after. I had this on my Places to visit. I visited and then that will be it. Maybe one day when they get everything in order I'll return. First off the tip of the spear (Host) needs Guest Service Training. It was ok that they didn't have many of the products pictured on their menu cover. They also served the Nigiri without Wasabi and ginger. I guess the server forgot to bring those items. I eventually got em. The server was Ok, polite. The rice was done very well, the vinegar and cook was balanced, texture and acidity with a hint of sweetness. The rice and the salmon was the best for me. I didn't bother asking about real Wasabi nor packaged real Wasabi. They came highly recommended, I figure I was duped. Lesson learned. Menu Knowledge on all fronts needs improvement or getting someone that has questions to the right person seems to be a thing to be trained.... The restaurant is beautiful, clean and tucked away in a nice foliage-filled enclosure on a busy thoroughfare. Parking is copious and is apart of a strip mall. Beautiful and well maintained building. Everything else was excellent, my favorite thing of the night which I thought was part of the all you can eat, but wasn't, was the fried avocado stuffed with seafood. That was truly amazing, never had a fried avocado before, I'm wanting one right now! All the sushi that we tasted, we estimated we stayed there over one and a half to two hours, taking our time on our anniversary weekend. Every time we eat here the sushi is good but everything else on the menu is cheap quality. We come back for the sushi. One night a table of 6 of us had a server follow us out the door hollering about how much of a tip we'd left her, however we all tipped her well. It was just in combinations of card tips and cash. (So we're thinking maybe she jumped to conclusions before realizing what all she had.) However she was very unprofessional & we try to avoid her every time we go. I understand they have the "all you can eat" but if that means you're just feeding people rice with a sprinkle of what you're actually wanting to eat then just do away with it. The service was terrible. I'm guessing they purposefully make you wait hoping that you'll either eat as little as possible or that you'll just get tired of waiting and leave. We were greeted by the same wonderful food server that took care of us previously, Hannah. Her personality is relaxing and welcoming. We talked about the specials and began to order our feast. Everything was as it should be: fresh, crisp, colorful, hot and some served cold. Hanna continued to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This was my date night with my youngest daughter. We so enjoy the food and service. Thanks to Hanna and let's remember to support our local businesses. Tonight we went in as a party of two and were sat immediately. The server brought us the wrong drinks after we ordered water, then proceeded to ignore us for 30 minutes after we had already marked our first round. We ended up just leaving. I understand being over-sat. I have been a server and empathize heavily. But there was hardly anyone in the section. Might not go back, which is a shame. About $24 for the all you can eat dinner which is amazing for sushi which is typically $15 a roll for special rolls at anywhere else.
