Between Mural 27 and Mural 30 in Toppenish is Bamboo Thai. We went to Toppenish to check out the murals and looked for a restaurant ahead of time. It seemed like there were 20 Mexican restaurants, but only one Thai. We wondered if we'd find it, but suddenly, as we looked at the murals, it was there staring us straight in the face. The service was excellent. The food was just what we were hoping for. The fried spring rolls were crunchy, not greasy. Potstickers were tasty as can be, and the chicken pad thai hit the spot. We were given bonus food, and even a bottle of water as we left. We hadn't even asked for it, but it was a hot day and I guess she knew we'd need it. Bless her! We recommend it! read more

My wife and I dont usually visit Toppenish so we asked a local for a good spot to eat and they did not disappoint. We loved the food! Wife had pad thai. Pad thai is one of her absolute favorite foods and she said it's the best pad thai in the whole county. I had the beef pho and it was amazing. Some of the best I've ever had. Went here yesterday and I gotta say I am pleasantly surprised to find a place like this in Toppenish. Their pad thai is a little sweet for my taste (maybe ketchup?) but I gotta say thats about as good as Thai food will get in this area. I actually thought it was A LOT better than most places I tried in Yakima. The Pad Thai was much more flavorful and more accurate with the spice scale than any place in the Valley. The only decent Asian restaurant in town. When I was here a couple of days ago, I originally want Vietnamese Pho tried to stop by another outfit on the other side of the building. Lucky for BT, that place was closed (even though it has open hours). I order mixed vegetables with chicken on the first visit and Larb on the second visit. The mix vegetable was alright. Can't complain about it. Plenty of food on the plate. Had to get doggy bag because lots of left-over. The Larb however was a disappointment. I ordered the beef version of Larb and like the meat chopped or sliced but the meat was grounded (not original). I didn't have choice of bitter vs sour nor choice of sticky rice (the traditional rice that goes with it). I'm getting old and don't want to eat hot anymore so I order mild and there were no pepper on it. My fault on that. If you haven't have Larb before, it doesn't matter. If you have, then you will understand why I give this rating a 3 stars. read more

Their Crispy Garlic Chicken is out of this world and the fried rice complemented it even more. If you are passing by or live in the area give this place a try. It will not disappoint! Wow! What a nice surprise. We are vacationing in central Washington. I never expected the best meal of our vacation would be found in this tiny little town. I only saw burger joints and a few Mexican joints as we drove in. Luckily I checked Yelp and found good reviews for this lovely little Thai place. The place is clean and neat with nice Thai music playing in the background and the food was exquisite! Perfectly seasoned and satisfying. We shared avocado fresh rolls, pumpkin curry and Thai basil veggies. We were planning on dessert but the portions were big and sadly we had no room left. Have been here many times before. The Yellow curry was like pure water and not creamy at all, you could almost see through it. I tried to stir it thinking it just separated and it was just watery. The Spice (hot) was there but lacked serious flavor. Its almost like they forgot the coconut milk. Maybe it was just rushed. I ordered it to go, 5 minutes into a 12 minute drive to the restaurant. First time there yesterday. Had the mango stir fry with pork with a 3 on the spicy. They nailed it. I've been to other places that claimed it was a three for heat and there was nothing there. This was my second time here. I remembered that I liked the food the first time when I placed a to go order over the phone. Well today I passed by & decided to go in. I stood at the counter for close to 5 min. With no acknowledgement. Waitress was running around then headed to the kitchen. She then comes out with two to go orders places them on the counter & says nothing to me. I look at her and say "Hi, I liked to order..." then she cuts me off and says kitchen is too busy! By then another gal was standing behind me waiting to pick up her order. The waitress starts helping her, so I moved to the side thinking she's going to finish helping me when she's done. Nope! Waitress walks off to other room to go wash her hands. Finally I speak up & say "So, I can't place an order?!" She says "Well are you going to wait for it?!" I said I wished you would've finished helping me before you moved on to the next customer! She started trying to explain herself. I just walked out!
