The place is nice, but the thing that made me take off stars are these reasons. The cashier slightly coughed in her hands and then proceeded to grab my desert out the fridge.. unsanitary!! Not only that, she handled the cash I gave her without washing her hands afterwards. I assume these employees haven't taken their food handlers card. Now to get onto the drink I ordered.. in the beginning it was good but after a while it started tasting like these fruits aren't fresh and it was probably sitting in the fridge for awhile. I normally enjoy coming here because I get to choose what I like. But the last time I came in, I tried to customize my dessert like I normally do, but the cashier simply stated to me after I told her my order "no, we do not sell desserts like that." So I thought I misunderstood her and asked her is she telling me that I cannot customize my dessert? She said yes. I can't change my order and I have to pick what they have. This was weird since I have never had an issue. I turned to my bf and just told him let's leave and he agreed because she was rude and just kept insisting that I cannot customize my order even though all I wanted was red tapioca and coconut milk. Definitely a cool place. Been here a couple times and the dessert drinks are really good. Can get a bid crowded, especially on the weekends but if you're into Viet Desserts, this is a great spot especially because there are so many bahn Mi and pho spots all up and down the street to make this a great spot to finish with. one word. OMG! I really love this place. It's so flavorful and I have a taste that they add less powder compared to other boba places. This place is a little different because of the variety of drinks that they offer with a coconut vibe. It's usually more of a dessert/boba place. I always order avocado smoothie with mix jelly, Thai tea w/boba, or my strawberry smoothie with lychee jelly. Try it if you've never had them before! I seldom order the desserts only because I come after eating dim sum, so I'm already full... the place is really small. I wish it was a little bigger especially when it gets busy. Everyone is huddled together trying to order and get out. Usually, the older peeps like to hang out and chat... I'm sorry, but I don't have time for that. Lol. I truly enjoy their desserts, but the customer service desperately needs a attention. The 1 star is for their dessert only. Recently, my multiple encounters with the employees have been less than adequate. The girls behind the cash register seem uninterested in their job. I've had money snatched out of my hands or change thrown on the counter. No one uttered the words "thank you," and not even a smile. People working there should understand that in addition to selling desserts, they are also in the customer service business. Without us customers, you don't have a job...so while you're working, at least act like you actually care and have a decent job instead of standing on the Stockton blvd. corner. Honestly, with what their girls are sometimes wearing, they look like the girls standing on Stockton blvd. I don't expect much from an Asian business, but at least act like you care about the fact that you do have customers. This is the best place for a boba or jelly smoothie. They have a good variety of flavors when it comes to their jelly, and their boba is a nice small size unlike most boba places. Ive tried most of their smoothies and they are so delicious, especially with the jellies. I would definitely recommend this place, its the perfect cold drink for a hot day. Only 4 stars because I miss their Rocklin location, the Stockton one is a bit too far for me. read more
