They've changed the seating around so there's definitely way more space but less seating. The hype has died down so it's not very busy anymore. Parking is still tough seeing as it's in an extremely busy plaza. You can order with the cashier or on the self serve kiosk. They have Pokémon playing on a tv near a comfortable seating area, so that's always a win to entertain kids. There's a variety of drink choices and you're able to customize the sweetness level. They also have some snack options as well. This time, we tried the Strawberry Yakult Smoothie (add boba 50% sweetness) and the Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie (add boba 50% sweetness). The boba in both drinks were a bit harder than the typical boba. The strawberry tasted a bit sour (not yakult sour, but more like unripe strawberry type of sour). The Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie was definitely a win for me. They have actual sticky rice in it also, which made it almost like a whole meal lol. I really liked it. Will definitely get that again next time. This was not our first time here and won't be our last.

Came here on a hot day and was craving a cold drink after the gym. Sad that this place replaced Happy Lemon. But this place is very cutely decorated with Shibu Inu merch and kpop related items. I ordered from the kiosk and it was pretty quick service. They had seating inside and people were hanging inside. Nice little chill area. I got the Banana Pudding Matcha ($8.75). 50% sweetness. They also had a bunch of snacks and treats like Korean corn dog, brownies and etc. I thought the drink was pretty good. Not too sweet but still able to taste the matcha. The pudding had a nice texture. The drink was a tall too but wish it wasn't almost $9 for a drink.

I had a wonderful time visiting this boba shop with my partner on a Saturday afternoon. It's part of a Vietnamese plaza; it may be proven difficult to find parking. It's a huge space that has so much personality for its on brand Shiba mascot. The interior is decorated with comic style Shiba pictures of their mascot! It's so whimsical and engaging to wander your eyes around the room. Not only do they sell tea and snacks, they sell their own Shibainc merchandise and other miscellaneous items like blind boxes and more. It has a nice interior to sit down and relax. There's a bathroom in the back corner; you'll find yourself walking through a hallway that's decorated with cute dog pictures! It was empty when we arrived around 12:30 pm, so I had time to look through the menu. I ordered the mango green tea with light ice and reduced sugar. It took about 5 minutes for the order, so it was quick, efficient, and seamless service. The drink itself was refreshing, semi-sweet to my liking, and so good! I have to shoutout that their lids are sturdy and dependable. My drink fell to its side in the cup holder but nothing spilled! No wet mess! I definitely recommend that you come here for a great experience!

The Ultimate Paw-ty Spot in Sac! Calling all Shiba Inu fans and pet parents! If you're looking for the ultimate doggy date spot with cozy vibes, Shibainc Cafe in Sacramento needs to be on your radar. The atmosphere is trendy and modern, but what really sets them apart is how much they truly love dogs. It's 100% pet-friendly--they provided water bowls, treats, and the most adorable pup cups. Don't leave without taking a photo of your pup for their "Dog Wall of Fame". What we ordered: * Brown Sugar Milk Tea: The perfect level of sweetness paired with soft, chewy boba.  * Vietnamese Coffee Affogato: Bold and strong--perfect for a real caffeine kick!  * Original Bubble Waffle: Super crispy, crunchy, and came in the cutest packaging. Next time we're definitely trying the Oreo or Red Bean fillings. Pro Tip: You can fully customize your sugar and ice levels here, which I really appreciate for a personalized treat.

I decided to stop by after dinner and this place did not disappoint! We ordered the banana matcha and thai milk tea. Drinks were super creamy and delicious. Cups were absolutely adorable as well. Interior was super cute and the place was big. Employees were welcoming and friendly. I would definitely come back to try new things here.

This place is very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful I ordered a pashon fruit green tea with lichi jellys and it tastes wonderful! Will greatly consider coming back here if I am ever in the neighborhood

Ordered on a kiosk. The kiosk itself was pretty dirty and sticky. I got a slush drink and it was not a good texture. The ice was still pretty big and were shard-like and hard still so it was not pleasant at all to drink. The flavor was not good either and way to artificial tasting and acidic. The milk tea is pretty standard. Boba texture was a bit too chewy for my liking. They had a lot of merchandise for sale which was unique. Overall an okay spot but wouldn't be my first choice with plenty of other boba spots nearby.

This place is so cute. We were already pretty full so we just tried a strawberry green tea. It was alright. We want to come back and try the corndog and coffee. The whole cafe is so cute and we love all the corgi stuff.

Lovely boba tea shop with Shiba Inu theme. They sell shiba merchandise, they're all so cute. We had the brown sugar milk tea with boba and the shiba dog pancake with cheese, all were awesome. The staff was friendly and she even let us try the summer bingo game, although we didn't win any prizes, but it was fun Will come back again when I visit Sacramento

Food: the shiba shaped tayaki tasted quite delicious, though 2/4 got messed up. Ate those first. Vietnamese coffee was alright, not quite as jitter inducing but not incredibly bitter either; ymmv Service: was quiet when I went in, but there was a bit of a line behind us. Food moved pretty quick though Ambiance was excellent. Store is still relatively new so we will see if it can be carried through for a while. Loving the themed wall with the dog pictures. Not sure why the tv is playing cat videos but...

Nice ambiance, good service, wish they have my favorites like lychee , taro and wintermelon drink ,cute items for sale..will come back again for sure..

We finally got a chance to check out SHIBAINC. It's so cute inside & everything we tried was delicious & full of flavor! Everyone was super nice & took their time telling us all about the items we ordered. 1. Shibe Mochi Cakes We got one filled with Nutella & one with Peanut Butter. 2. Watermelon Lemon Slushy The perfect balance if sweet & sour. 3. Banana Pudding Matcha Premium Japanese matcha blended with our house-made banana milk, then topped with creamy banana pudding that melts into the drink for extra richness. 4. Nordic Cloud Latte A smooth, creamy latte topped with freshly zested Nordic Brown Cheese (a rare Nordic specialty with a gentle caramel note that melts into every sip) & sweet cream. Enjoy each layer before mixing for the full experience. 5. Thai Tea Basque Cheesecake Smooth & full of flavor, it's absolutely delicious. My daughter also loved the trading card vending machines & candy! They also have a ton of merch for sale along with trendy, fun blind boxes (Labubus, Sonny Angels, etc.). Oh and it's dog friendly! We can't wait to go back! 10/10

Mochi donuts are honestly one of my favorite things to pair with a drink, and these definitely didn't disappoint. For drinks, we ordered the chizu pink peregrine tea, which was so good. Light, refreshing, and the creamy cheese foam on top added that perfect little extra flavor that makes it feel more special than a regular tea. There is plenty of parking as it's in the same area as many other delicious restaurants in south Sac. There are several benches for sitting, but they're intentionally small so you don't hang out there. Most people get their drinks and desserts to go. I'm not really too big on desserts so I've gone for their drinks both times I've been. I got a chance to try my friend's boba sundae, however, and that was really good. I've had their matcha float and their black sesame latte, and was pleased with the flavors of both. Their ice cream is so good without being heavy. I've only had their matcha ice cream but would love to try their black sesame ice cream next time I go. I already love going to south Sac to eat, and need to make it a point to come to Matcha Cafe Maiko more often for my matcha fix. I will be back.

Also, I've been craving for their banana matcha latte for a while ever since they came out with this item like a year ago so I had to come back when i saw that they're selling it again. Banana Matcha Latte - 8.2/10 I got this with soy milk and honestly it tastes really good although since their matcha is premade, you can't really adjust the sweetness and I wish the matcha a bit less sweet especially since the banana cream top is already sweet itself. Also, the soy milk gives the creaminess without overpowering the matcha too much. The banana cream top has a nice banana flavor (although kind of tastes artificial) but it's still very tasty especially with the Biscoff biscuits and fresh bananas on top. One thing to note is that they don't put a lot of ice in the drink so even when the drink is diluted, you can still taste the prominence of the matcha. The workers are pretty nice and they have really fast service even during rush hours. Also, this place is quite small so it's more of a to-go spot. I would mainly recommend coming to this spot if you're looking for high-quality matcha desserts since that's what they're really known for. I would definitely come back if I happen to be nearby.

The location is super accessible and there's parking, which already earns bonus points from me because I'm not trying to fight for my life looking for a parking spot. The drinks are great quality, don't get me wrong. The strength of their coffee alone is enough to make you feel like you can run for an hour straight without any breaks. My only gripe is the portion size. Every time I've gone my drinks are almost always never properly filled. If I am spending near $7-8 on average for a SMALL coffee, I expect to have my drink filled every time. There is zero excuse to not fill the gaps of my drinks when I pay extra for the foam/cream that is meant to be included in my drinks. In fact, every time I've gone it is always a problem with the portions. The drinks are never filled properly to the brim or it's just littered with 60-70% ice and you get maybe 30-40% of your actual drink on a good day. I really hope the owners take this review to heart and improve on the portion/presentation of their drinks. Having your drinks filled all the way with foam/cream when your customers pay for it goes a LONG way. It makes your customers feel as if they are paying for the drink they deserve. The quality and taste of the drinks are amazing, but the portions alone make me want to pursue other competitors that treat me right and give me what I pay for.

I've tried their other drinks but I don't have pictures for them so I'll just review what I got recently. Purple Crush - 8.4/10 I honestly really like this drink since it tastes like taro/ube and it has Oreos in it which gives a nice chocolate-ly flavor to it. I also added boba in it which definitely gave a nice texture to the drink as well. It's pretty thick like a slushie/milkshake but regardless I highly recommend this drink if you're into taro and cookies and cream!! Although this drink is quite sweet even when you get it less than 100% sweet. Black Sesame Coffee - 7.5/10 I just tried this drink today and it's pretty yummy but all of the black sesame seeds sink in the bottom so I had to stir it every time before drinking it. I got 50% sweet with less ice and it just tastes like regular Vietnamese coffee with a hint of black sesame and it's honestly not that bad. Although I'm not sure if I will get this drink again though. It wasn't too sweet and I like that you can really taste the coffee. Popcorn Chicken - 7.8/10 I always get their popcorn chicken since that's what I mainly like to get from boba shops and I like that they have different spice levels like from no spicy to extra hot. I would either get mild or medium but I've recently got medium and I like that it has a kick in it. The ranch pairs well with the chicken and although it's not super crispy, it has a good amount of batter to chicken ratio. Overall, I recommend that you order ahead of time and I used DoorDash to order my stuff from the second pic since I usually wait like 30 minutes to get my drinks and food which was kind of annoying. Even when there's little to no customers, their service is usually pretty slow which I hope that they can improve on that. Also, there's a kiosk where you can order on the screen. I feel like their customer service does need some improvement though since they don't really interact with the customers unless you talk to them. However, the place looks really clean and aesthetic so it's a great spot to just chill while sipping on some boba.

While I was in Sacramento, I happened to spot a BAMBU in the plaza and was genuinely excited to grab some drinks. The shop itself is fairly small, with limited indoor seating--about five tables in total. Unfortunately, the dining area wasn't very clean. Tables weren't being wiped down after customers left, so new groups would simply sit at dirty tables without anyone cleaning them in between. The menu is displayed overhead. You order and pay at the counter before waiting for your drinks. Our group of five ordered five drinks, and while the selection was great, the prices were on the higher side. When our order was ready, it was disappointing that we had to ask for basic items like a bag for the drinks and spoons. These weren't available for self-service, so we had to request them. The elderly gentleman helping us seemed visibly annoyed by the request, which left a poor impression. It's the small details and customer interactions that can really shape the overall experience. As much as I love BAMBU as a brand, this particular location fell short. Between the unfriendly service, lack of attention to cleanliness, and higher prices, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit the Sacramento location again.
