    Mangonada and Thai green tea
    Michael O.

Super duper good mangonada. The chimoy only makes it better. This was a non-spicy but it had just the perfect bit of tang. Would definitely come back again for it. My partner really liked the Thai green tea and said it tasted just like it should be. It wasn't too sweet for her and was very good. Overall, the service was very fast as well. We waited at most 3 minutes. The workers were very friendly and it was a very relaxing place to be. The area had a couple places for sitting.

Small joint shop, other side is Lollibowl. Great to grab a sweet treat after a meal from there. Limited seating! Lots of variety with their drinks, so many specials, and interesting combinations. Very cheap, our two large drinks with toppings were $10. Service was great, the baristas are so sweet, patient, and well acquainted with the menu to answer any questions. They also have snacks like popcorn chicken, calamari, and fries. Yummy! I love it!!

Ordered the Mango Yogurt. It was really good not too sweet. Interior was nice and clean. It was connected to their restaurant Lollibowl. Great quick service.

I've been coming here for years! They have the best smoothies and such good snacks for amazing prices. Where can you get chicken wings or calamari for $4.25?! We love coming here and then waltzing over to lollibowl for a quick lunch, which is also amazing.

Lollicup is one of those boba shops that have been around, since before boba was mainstream. Its in an outdated plaza, facing the street, attached next to Lollibowl (the restaurant side). They have all your basic drink options like milk teas, slushies, smoothies, etc as well as all the basic snacks (hello popcorn chicken and mini corndogs)! My daughter's fathers swears they have the best thai milk tea. If you like a super sugary one, this is the one for you. It's super sweet and creamy! My personal go to is their strawberry yogurt, which is listed under their "specials." It's basically a gogurt but I ain't mad at it. They have a plethora of toppings you can add into your drink but we're basic b*tches and prefer to not chew anything when we're drinking our drinks. They allow you inside now however they still require masks to be worn indoors. They have a little plastic screen and microphone speaker for you to speak into. It can be a little difficult to communicate with the cashier, so be patient and speak loudly and clearly so they can hear you! They take cash and card or apply pay!

Mochi donuts are honestly one of my favorite things to pair with a drink, and these definitely didn't disappoint. For drinks, we ordered the chizu pink peregrine tea, which was so good. Light, refreshing, and the creamy cheese foam on top added that perfect little extra flavor that makes it feel more special than a regular tea. Everything came out quickly, the atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and it was just one of those easy, happy stops that my daughter and I enjoy together. It's definitely becoming one of our regular treat spots and don't forget their app for quick runs. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

There is plenty of parking as it's in the same area as many other delicious restaurants in south Sac. There are several benches for sitting, but they're intentionally small so you don't hang out there. Most people get their drinks and desserts to go. I'm not really too big on desserts so I've gone for their drinks both times I've been. I got a chance to try my friend's boba sundae, however, and that was really good. I've had their matcha float and their black sesame latte, and was pleased with the flavors of both. Their ice cream is so good without being heavy. I've only had their matcha ice cream but would love to try their black sesame ice cream next time I go. Be warned, their Vietnamese coffee is very strong. I don't mind it though, and it's quite smooth. Most recently I had their ube cream coffee and that was delightful. There was plenty of ube cream, and once that was mixed in with the rest of the coffee, man was that delicious. I've taken my husband and a good friend of mine to Tram in the past and both of them enjoyed the drinks they chose as well. I have yet to try their matcha but my friend said it was great. If you're not keen on getting a Vietnamese coffee, their fruit teas are also nice and refreshing. I've had the Running Dragon in the past and that was really good. Even when they're busy, the staff have been able to get drinks out in a timely manner (at least that's my experience when I've gone). There also ample space to sit and enjoy your drinks, or hang out with friends. They even serve food here, but I have yet to try that too. Tram Cream Coffee is definitely in my rotation of favorite spots for an afternoon pick-me-up in the South Sac area, and I shall return.

DISCLAIMER: THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE DRINKS, NOT THE SERVICE…read more I've been to Tram Cream Coffee at-least 3 times now and every time I've gone I'm left feeling neither impressed nor satisfied. The drinks are great quality, don't get me wrong. The strength of their coffee alone is enough to make you feel like you can run for an hour straight without any breaks. My only gripe is the portion size. Every time I've gone my drinks are almost always never properly filled. If I am spending near $7-8 on average for a SMALL coffee, I expect to have my drink filled every time. There is zero excuse to not fill the gaps of my drinks when I pay extra for the foam/cream that is meant to be included in my drinks. In fact, every time I've gone it is always a problem with the portions. The drinks are never filled properly to the brim or it's just littered with 60-70% ice and you get maybe 30-40% of your actual drink on a good day. I really hope the owners take this review to heart and improve on the portion/presentation of their drinks. Having your drinks filled all the way with foam/cream when your customers pay for it goes a LONG way. It makes your customers feel as if they are paying for the drink they deserve. The quality and taste of the drinks are amazing, but the portions alone make me want to pursue other competitors that treat me right and give me what I pay for.

The inside was small but cute. A few tables to sit at. They had snacks you can order to enjoy. Finger foods. A nice selection of drinks to order from too. You just order at the kiosk they have at the front desk and use your card. There is only 1. Then they make your order and bring it to the front counter. My little one got the taro drink. She didn't like it. I thought it tasted fine. I got the egg coffee. It was good. But boy do I miss the one i got in Vietnam! I won't go into the details on that one. Lol But Aimee's Boba Cafe was small, cute, clean, and quiet. The staff didn't interact with me so I can't talk about staff or customer service. I've tried their other drinks but I don't have pictures for them so I'll just review what I got recently. Purple Crush - 8.4/10 I honestly really like this drink since it tastes like taro/ube and it has Oreos in it which gives a nice chocolate-ly flavor to it. I also added boba in it which definitely gave a nice texture to the drink as well. It's pretty thick like a slushie/milkshake but regardless I highly recommend this drink if you're into taro and cookies and cream!! Although this drink is quite sweet even when you get it less than 100% sweet. Black Sesame Coffee - 7.5/10 I just tried this drink today and it's pretty yummy but all of the black sesame seeds sink in the bottom so I had to stir it every time before drinking it. I got 50% sweet with less ice and it just tastes like regular Vietnamese coffee with a hint of black sesame and it's honestly not that bad. Although I'm not sure if I will get this drink again though. It wasn't too sweet and I like that you can really taste the coffee. Popcorn Chicken - 7.8/10 I always get their popcorn chicken since that's what I mainly like to get from boba shops and I like that they have different spice levels like from no spicy to extra hot. I would either get mild or medium but I've recently got medium and I like that it has a kick in it. The ranch pairs well with the chicken and although it's not super crispy, it has a good amount of batter to chicken ratio. Overall, I recommend that you order ahead of time and I used DoorDash to order my stuff from the second pic since I usually wait like 30 minutes to get my drinks and food which was kind of annoying. Even when there's little to no customers, their service is usually pretty slow which I hope that they can improve on that. Also, there's a kiosk where you can order on the screen. I feel like their customer service does need some improvement though since they don't really interact with the customers unless you talk to them. However, the place looks really clean and aesthetic so it's a great spot to just chill while sipping on some boba.

While I was in Sacramento, I happened to spot a BAMBU in the plaza and was genuinely excited to grab some drinks. The shop itself is fairly small, with limited indoor seating--about five tables in total. Unfortunately, the dining area wasn't very clean. Tables weren't being wiped down after customers left, so new groups would simply sit at dirty tables without anyone cleaning them in between. The menu is displayed overhead. You order and pay at the counter before waiting for your drinks. Our group of five ordered five drinks, and while the selection was great, the prices were on the higher side. When our order was ready, it was disappointing that we had to ask for basic items like a bag for the drinks and spoons. These weren't available for self-service, so we had to request them. The elderly gentleman helping us seemed visibly annoyed by the request, which left a poor impression. It's the small details and customer interactions that can really shape the overall experience. As much as I love BAMBU as a brand, this particular location fell short. Between the unfriendly service, lack of attention to cleanliness, and higher prices, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit the Sacramento location again. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning in the future.
