I have been coming here since I was a little girl. I'm in my late 20's now... & this is still one of the BEST places for Boba Tea in Sacramento. It's affordable, generous with boba portions, & every drink I have tried here has been amazing... very flavorful drinks!!! So far my favorite drink is their DragonFruit Tea w/ Lychee Jelly!! The employees are always friendly & the service is FAST as well there is never a long wait time when I come in. Super duper good mangonada. The chimoy only makes it better. This was a non-spicy but it had just the perfect bit of tang. Would definitely come back again for it. My partner really liked the Thai green tea and said it tasted just like it should be. It wasn't too sweet for her and was very good. Overall, the service was very fast as well. Small joint shop, other side is Lollibowl. Great to grab a sweet treat after a meal from there. Limited seating! Lots of variety with their drinks, so many specials, and interesting combinations. Very cheap, our two large drinks with toppings were $10. Service was great, the baristas are so sweet, patient, and well acquainted with the menu to answer any questions. Cheap boba for good quality! I grew up drinking Lollicup, but haven't seen one in a while, so I was surprised to find this place in Sacramento! The store itself is older but clean. I came 10 minutes before closing, but they still served me. I was taken aback at how cheap the drinks were compared to the newer boba shops everywhere. I got the peach milk tea which was VERY sweet, but that was my bad for not adjusting sweetness. I recommend this spot for any one who wants a no-frills, cheap boba spot! read more

Perfect hit. 5/5 My mom who came with me had the matcha milk tea with green apple jelly; this was not good and overly sweet despite requesting zero sugar. So minus one star for this. Lollicup is one of those boba shops that have been around, since before boba was mainstream. Its in an outdated plaza, facing the street, attached next to Lollibowl (the restaurant side). They have all your basic drink options like milk teas, slushies, smoothies, etc as well as all the basic snacks (hello popcorn chicken and mini corndogs)! My daughter's fathers swears they have the best thai milk tea. If you like a super sugary one, this is the one for you. It's super sweet and creamy! My personal go to is their strawberry yogurt, which is listed under their "specials." It's basically a gogurt but I ain't mad at it. They have a plethora of toppings you can add into your drink but we're basic b*tches and prefer to not chew anything when we're drinking our drinks. They allow you inside now however they still require masks to be worn indoors. They have a little plastic screen and microphone speaker for you to speak into. It can be a little difficult to communicate with the cashier, so be patient and speak loudly and clearly so they can hear you! They take cash and card or apply pay! read more

Last place where you can get boba for a decent/cheap price (all drinks under $5 and toppings aren't practically $1). And they have sooo many options! Sometimes it can be a little sketchy feeling when visiting tho. This last time I came, I guess because it's raining and they didn't want to get wet, a group of like 5 people were gathered right outside the front door. One was sitting on the ground, leaning against the door looking super OG. It was uncomfortable to walk past them. They also made the inside smell like a wet casino. So glad I didn't have my two young kids with me at that time. Lollicup has been around since like forever! I remember coming here a lot after school to hang out with friends and enjoy some boba. The drinks are hit-or-miss. Sometimes you get your drink perfectly made and sometimes it is made wrong. The drinks are very affordable though so you can't really complain. I do still enjoy their snacks too. read more

I was rather impressed by Lollicup's drinks. We stopped in after having dim sum down the street and all ordered drinks. I ordered a Black Tea with mango popping boba. My nieces ordered the Cookies and Cream ordeal - whipped cream on the top. My girls ordered different drinks including a Jasmine Milk Tea and two different kinds of fruit teas. We were all very happy with our drinks -- sweetness and ice adjusted in all very accurately. Prices are outrageously low. Super steal compared to what we pay for boba drinks in the Bay Area. The last time I came to this place was years ago and I can't believe this is still open. I decided to stop by to grab some boba and their fried fish balls. I like how the prices are affordable and hasn't increased to astronomical prices (yet) unlike some boba places. I got 3 drinks and a snack for about $18. The fried fish balls were pretty good and the Thai tea was sweet enough for my taste. I'll probably give this place another try when I get the chance. read more

Something I love about lollicup is there variety of choices when it comes to drinks. You can get the classic boba drinks, cold blended drinks, tea, and more. My favorite go to is the mango peachnada. You can have it spicy or no spicy and it will still taste great and very refreshing. When it comes to boba drinks, I usually go for the tiger milk tea or thai coffee with mini boba. Also they have an assortment of savory snacks to go along with your drink. I personally love the mini corn dogs. The 3 stars are for the drinks and prices, cause it's my favorite since middle school. However with the new workers/management... the customer service is awful and she got my order incorrect. The lady talks to you like you're dumb and could be a how lot more respectful. The tables in the waiting area are sticky and they don't have desserts... just confused as to why they still advertise it if they're no longer carrying/selling it. And the most confusing thing is... if you don't sell snow and slush together why do you have a photo of it also. read more

12/31/19: Just came out from here with a small order to-go. Yes, it's crowded because this is probably one of the only few places that are open on NYE. I really don't know how popular this place is but it seems always busy. I didn't/don't come here for myself, getting request from family members to go here. And I wish I didn't. One of my orders was sweet potato fries (along with a few boba drinks). I paid that in cash, left a tip in the tip jar, and waited for my order. A few minutes later they informed me that they are out of the sweet potato fries and wanted to know if I would accept regular fries. There was really no other options so I said 'yes'. Of course I knew (and I'm sure they knew) that the sweet potato fries were more expensive (about a dollar more), than regular. I assumed that they were going to give a little extra in fries or even upgrade at least one of the drinks to the next bigger size. Nope. I do feel upset because with the dollar they essentially 'took' with the monetary tip I put in the jar, they came out on the beneficial top. I feel if I choose to give 40% tip to you, it's on me. With all the new boba tea competition, Lollicup remains one of the better places. Service lately has improved, their prices are lower than others, and their drinks remain tasty. We got 4 drinks this time: a strawberry slush with mixed fruit, taro sesame slush with boba, coconut milk tea with lychee jelly, and jackfruit slush with boba. came here for a drink, there was 6 of us however only 3 of us ordered separately. cashier was really rude. i get that you are trying to move as fast as possible but when he speaks he gives attitude. the first order was my aunt she was deciding what to get but the cashier was rushing her. second order was my sister she got a brown sugar milk tea and mango slush. but when my sister was trying to order he kept telling her to speak up even told the employees to stop what they were doing to hear her and when he couldn't i think he was just guessing what she wanted. when i ordered i handed him the money and he snatched it. later when we were all done ordering i seen on my sister's receipt it said "royal MT" instead of brown sugar so i kindly asked the cashier "this says royal instead of brown sugar" he said "well yeah that's what we call it so" and looked annoyed. sorry for making sure that the drink my sister wanted was right! the drinks were ok. service definitely could have been better. there was no one inside but us. like i said i get you are trying to be as fast as possible but the way the cashier gives attitude when speaking does not make anyone want to come back. probably won't be back for good. read more
