In this case this is the second time I visited this location and left extremely frustrated due to lack of simple customer service. The lady working there today would not tell me that my account was not working properly and that my scanned code did not have VIP account or money on it. I'm not too into juices, but I do go to Pressed for their acai bowls. My favorite is the Acai Original Bowl. It's nice and simple with the basic bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and granola. Their acai base is served from a soft serve type looking machine. It kind of reminds me of a froyo but smoothie icy texture if that makes any sense. I like that it doesn't melt fast and survives a 10min drive home no problem. Service here has always been fast. Like chocolate and bananas? Get the Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie, it is delicious and filling! Like Strawberries? Get the Strawberry Orange Mango Smoothie, tangy and sweet! Like Matcha but want extra greens and fruits? Get the Avocado Greens Smoothie, all in one! For milks, all options are non-dairy and vegan! Both Chocolate and Vanilla Almond Milks are excellent choices when you need to refuel and nourish your body. The shots come in a wide variety of well-being. Wellness, Relax, Energy, Reset, Vitality, Recovery, Probiotic, and Elderberry. While I have not tried all of them yet, the Cherry shot is extra tart and packed full of flavor. The Hydration Shots, Chlorophyll and Aloe Vera, are great to bundle any juice cleanse bundles, not so much on their own in my opinion. The freezes are the highlight of Pressed. You definitely want to try their all plant-based and vegan soft-serve made with real ingredients. They change their flavors depending on the season but they always seem to have Chocolate and Vanilla in stock. My personal favorite was the Matcha freeze! (Hoping this returns soon!) Along with their Freezes and Acai Bowls, they offer a wide variety of toppings to go with. It is very welcoming to see all ingredients clearly labelled. Note their marshmallows (last time I visited) were vegan! The nut and granola butters are rich and excellent toppings. This location does not appear to offer their Vegan Pints of Ice Cream but hopefully they will begin soon. They do offer lots of to-go snacks including some vegan friendly chocolate chip cookies. Do take care in checking labels as not all the snacks are plant-based. There is also a drink or two that contains non-vegan ingredient (I think it was honey). Check the menu for the ingredients or bottle to confirm. The customer service here has always been excellent in my experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. First time here so I tried the açaí bowls. Best açaí bowl I've had compared to other places. The fruit was fresh and the açaí was refreshing as it was cold. Pretty good on a hot day and a big plus is that it's healthy! They didn't take long to make it and it came out beautifully presented. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. Fast and friendly service. We just happened to stop in today while waiting to get inside of Warby Parker next door. Props to their marketing because their sidewalk menu convinced us to go in and grab a drink! We each picked a lemonade, which are $6.75 each. She said they had a deal going on so we were able to get 3 lemonades for $12. Works for us, since I was torn between two flavors anyway. While I waited for my husband to use the restroom, I happened to take the drinks out for a photo and noticed she gave us two elderberry lemonades, even though I asked for a blackberry lemonade first, and added on elderberry after she told us about the deal. Her first response was "you said two elderberry." If I did, I wouldn't be standing here in front of you asking you to switch this extra bottle... I told her that I had asked for 1 elderberry and 1 blackberry and she just turned around to switch it. No apology or anything. I didn't really appreciate her customer service from the get-go. She talked so fast and rushed us through the entire process, as if we had a long line behind us. I'm all for getting in and out of the store, but it just wasn't a pleasant experience, so the fact that our order was wrong (which could've been a result of her rushing) really did not help! Aside from that, I did like the lemonades a lot more than other milks/blends and juices I've tried here in the past. The light flavor goes well with the lemonades because you get the beautiful color and the subtle flavor, without having a sugary sweet taste that a lot of lemonades have. So I drank one yesterday and several hours later I was in excruciating pain, I am not exaggerating when I say, it was worse than labor pains. For about three hours I was bent over with the pain right under my sternum. I would have went to the ER but I knew it was the exact same thing that happened to my Daughter. I LOVE PRESSED JUICERY FREEZE!!!! This location had the new Acai and dragon fruit so I had to try it! Thankfully, they offered samples and I saved myself from the regret of buying something horrible. Acai - the first bite was terrible, then it tasted better. I had the Acai bowl here before and it was pretty decent. I actually enjoyed it. You can taste the coconut. Dragon fruit - was a bit watery. The employee said that happens a lot.... Regardless, I was not a fan of the flavor, I think it tasted a bit mangoey and the consistency was not good Vanilla freeze - go to flavor, should've sampled the last time I went tho because the consistency was not very good. Wish they were more standard with the texture of the freeze cuz this one was not it. We recently left dog training with our dog and headed to R Street for lunch at nearby Shake Shack. We come to this area once or twice a month. While training our dog, imagine our surprise when one of your employees ran out of the store and verbally accosted us for training our dog. She had absolutely NO right to publicly embarrass us for using approved training techniques with our wonderful dog.
