Glad they created a tray of the different donuts they make. You don't have to wander the entire counter.

Just meh, major downgrade for the pricing but gotta pay for the building somehow I guess. They were overpriced in salt lake before they expanded but I was happy to see them expand and be an option on Sunday. Now if only go if I was desperate for a decent donut on a Sunday as was this occasion. Last minute celebration. Much like another local chain that expanded, they abandoned what made them famous in the first place and simply running on the coattail of their reputation. IYKYK

The donuts were very tasty. My family is kind of donut connoisseurs and they really enjoyed them. I don't like yeast donuts very much but it was good for a yeast donuts. The maple on top was really good. The inside of the shop was cute, but the employees weren't super friendly. They were very curt and didn't smile at all, but they were fast and accurate so it was okay

Its more about what's not in this photo.

Long time Banbury advocate here. Location: It's easy enough to access, you can cut through the Chipotle parking lot if you're coming from the west, using the dedicated access to the Banbury/Beans & Brew can be tough if there a lot of traffic. Store: I think it's awesome they used all the same old school decor that the first one has, it felt just like Banbury. A lot of small business owners neglect the brand feel when they try to expand but Banbury nailed it. However, they didn't really design the floor plan in a way that can handle a line more than 2 deep. The SLC location is roomy (its not) by comparison. They dedicated at least 300 sq ft of floor space to an eating area with a table and chair set up. Why? Why prioritize seating space over accommodating people in line? Donuts: No drop off in per donut quality compared to SLC. Its a Banbury donut for sure. Anyone who tells you a grocery store can do it better probably thinks "El Matador" or "The Mandarin" are fine dining establishments with top quality food. (Both of which are South Davis County generational favorites that lost any semblance of quality decades ago.) The issue today is that they don't seem to be making the same donuts that are available in SLC. No blueberry old fashioned, no maple bars, no butterflies, no fritters, you get the idea. Customer Service: Mostly teenagers, which I have no problem with but the issue is training. Just because you're Banbury doesn't mean you don't have competition. Parsons, Dicks, JJs, I passed 3 donut places on my way. Then you have all the Cookie places, Crumbl, Crave, etc. If I'm going to endulge in a treat on a Saturday - I have choices. Nothing bugs me more than when donut shop workers are indifferent to the conscious choice I made to come and get this treat for me and my family. I don't have to come here. So it's a bummer when the staff doesn't really seem to care. When my kids point through the glass at a specific donut, get it for them. When they got up at 540am to come get fresh donuts and ask for a double blueberry and you stare back at them with apathy and say "I don't see any" that's a problem. Walk your lazy behind back into the kitchen and ask where they are. In this case it turned out they were on a rack in the back. I ended our order for a dozen by asking for 2 of the most recently finished donuts. You know, something that just got frosted, something so hot I'll need to keep the box open. When I asked our teenage helper for something recent I was met with the atypical teenage blank stare...it was as if I had asked her for a carnitas taco. She actually just stood there in silence for an uncomfortable amount of conversational time. This brings my point home, donuts are 250 to 400 calories each. It's the same calories if the donut has been sitting on the shelf for a few minutes or a few hours. Donuts, like fresh baked cookies, are always better fresh. When I come in at 6am the donuts on the rack were made 2, 3, maybe even 4 hours ago but you should be in the process of making more. The SLC Banbury is typically rolling out their later batches between 7am and 9am, and if you ask them for something fresh they immediately run back to the kitchen and grab things that have just been frosted At the Centerville store it was as if I had asked them a question in another language and my teenage associate couldn't process my question. (Perhaps if I had used more emojis.) She eventually goes back to the kitchen and asks, and the crew back there is equally confused at the request, "what does he want?" they ask in confusion - I hear the entire conversation because, as I mentioned, I'm there at 6:05am and there are only a few people in the store. "Just give him these." was the final decision and out come 2 double fudge donuts that had been sitting around cold, just like everything else. Buying donuts is an experience, it's not just a transaction. I have 3 kids with me, I love taking them to get great donuts. I'm raising the next generation of donut lovers! It's a huge bummer to get them up at 530am, drive 15 minutes only to be greeted and treated with general apathy. Conclusion: This Banbury can't live on the momentum of its name forever. I hope they start understanding what core donuts fans are looking for and delivering on it, but I'm not holding my breath. People in Davis County have really low bars when it comes to food.

These are the best Blueberry Cake donuts I've ever had Would 10/10 recomend. So glad they had some when I dropped by. I've been before, and they were all sold out. Wasn't ever a donut person till I tried Branbury

    Raw donuts

My family and I love banbury donuts but the last few time we have bought donuts from the centerville location they have been raw! Very disgusting and disappointing.

Double decker doughnut boxes so your doughnuts always have enough room! WOW fantastic idea

The Garlic Gorgonzola burger is absolutely delicious, it was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were not overpowering which tends to happen with both garlic and gorgonzola, the burger was also perfectly medium and it was very juicy and tasted like a very high quality burger . The fries were just your ordinary average food service fries but they were fresh and that's good enough for me. My mom and I shared both the burger and the pear, pecan and beet salad and it was delicious as well. All the lettuce was fresh and every inch of the salad was well dressed. Our waiter, Mario was great super attentive but not in the way where the waiter hovers. He never let our water glasses go empty and he was just very nice. The restaurant is also beautiful and we were sat next to the fire which was much appreciated by my always cold mom. I look forward to coming back again soon.

There were multiple TVs playing the Yankees game - GO YANKEES !! Food was hot and I appreciated that our entrees came out together and not separate. Though the wait is a bit longer for something like that, it adds to a dinner experience to be able to begin a meal together. The flatbread and fries were super delicious. The cheese was warm and so were the fries. Our flatbread's cheese was a bit cold, making the stretch not as satisfying in my opinion. I had a black truffle pasta entree with grilled chicken. Tasted great but not as much truffle flavor as I would have expected for it being in the name ! It barely tasted like truffle in my opinion. Our server, Kyle, was so kind and helpful ! He brought good energy and was truly efficient in his work :) Overall, a nice restaurant with delicious food ! However I don't think the establishment and food quite match to the price of the meals. It's higher end pricing. I would come here again but it definitely wouldn't be a top of the head pick for me.
