There's now an excellent selection of all the fresh banchan you can dream of and homemade kimchi. They also still have great Korean bbq meats. Looks like they are associated with Goong. For prepared foods, there's bimbimbap, kimbap, japchae, soups and stews, and handmade mandu. I like to come here when I'm cooking Korean food to get meats and banchan, or if I'm craving a quick Korean soup. So glad this place is located near us. I drove to another establishment that I normally go to and it was a bit further. They didn't have what I wanted. Womp womp! My husband reminded me of this place so I went to check it out! Service was quick and the lady was kind. Store itself was small. They have a variety of different meats, bonchon and other items you need for at home kbbq. This time I was looking for kim bop and japchae to have for lunch. So glad they had some available. This place is AWESOME!!! They sell all of the various classic KBBQ meats (frozen and unfrozen) so you can grill them up at home. I've been going weekly and everything is equivalent to restaraunt quality and delicious. They also sell various side dishes (I've tried atleast 6 different ones and enjoyed all of them), sauces, bone broth along with premium imported mochi in their refrigerated area (I've tried two flavors and both were bomb)! Excited to have an asian butcher shop added to the neighborhood. Its in the same parking lot as Hummus off of Robindale and Rainbow. I've stopped in twice now for my korean meat needs. They have everything from Short Rib, Bulgogi, Beef Tongue, Wagyu, Pork Belly etc - pretty much anything you may crave from korean bbq. I'm especially happy to see all of their thin cut meats that I can use for a variety of dishes. Purchasing from here is way more convenient and a better experience than going to asian supermarkets that are usually too far and crowded. They have high quality meats for very reasonable prices. They also sell a variety of other necessities such as sauces, sesame oil, kimchis, and other banchan. 10/10 would recommend checking it out. read more

Extremely excited to have a Korean Butcher shop in the Southwest. I no longer have to travel all the way to Chinatown for meats! They have all the necessary meats that you will need for doing KBBQ at home! I've been to The Tailor Meat Shop several times to pick up meats -- angus waygu chuck, beef tongue, fresh pork belly, frozen pork belly slices, boneless short rib, etc. Everything that we had was great! I've done everything from making bulgogi at home, KKBQ, ssam, and even hot pot (shabu shabu). My favorite items are their beef tongue and their frozen pork belly slices. Grill it up real quick and wrap them in lettuce and some side dishes. It makes such an amazing and easy dinner! Oh sometimes they offer green onion that's already shredded for you. I like to get that and eat it with my meat! They also have other side dishes too but I haven't tried them yet. If you need any meat, be sure to check them out! read more

First time seeing a Korean butcher! Awesome little shop that is filled with high-quality meats and side dishes, perfect for any kbbq or hot pot needs! Meat is their main thing, but they offer side dishes such as fish cake and kimchi, as well as prepped veggies for hot pot, instant broths/broth add ins, and seasonings! The prices on these items were very good as well. For the fish cake banchan and kimchi were 3.99 (and was super tasty!) The prices on the meat were good as well. I got a package of bulgogi for 8.85 and a package of brisket for 14.81. Perfect amount of meat for 2 people. Next time I'll have to pay the extra though for the premium cuts! The service was very good as well! The cashier was polite and took the time to seran wrap the bulgogi to prevent any spilling of the marinade. Newly opened Korean owned butcher shop in the Southwest side of town, on Rainbow, near Robindale. Great to have a locally owned place which offers HIGHER quality meats than the bigger grocery stores at a LOWER price. I've been here twice so far to pick up various meats for either hot pot or just grilling/pan searing. AMAZING quality. They offer various qualities of meat ranging from choice to prime to "wagyu" (washugyu i believe). Honestly they all look amazing. They do offer some banchan side dishes as well as some other Korean products as well. Its funny how they assume I'm korean but i "understand" enough and they're friendly enough to get by LOL. Someone recently recommended this cute little place for their kimchee as they know I'm a bit picky about flavor. They have a nice variety of sides. I needed to try their fresh kimchee which at first did not have much heat but I let it sit for a couple of days to let the flavor "develop " I also enjoyed their sweet and sour seaweed and radish kimchee I noticed they have some "meat" already cut and some soaked meat. They are easy to approach with questions. I will be returning to try their soaked meat and other little incidentals. read more

A new Korean Butcher is in town and its NOT in Chinatown. Thank the heavens. Its always a tad annoying to have to travel all the way down to Chinatown to buy meats so I was excited to see this place pop up on the feed. Lets make this easy. This is an EXCELLENT spot to check out for your Korean meat needs, some prime banchan, and overall even good ad hoc items like kimbap, bibimbap, etc. The service is extremely friendly even more so than my OG place that I used to visit on Spring Mountain. The quality of meat here is just top notch candidly... the Kalbi is tender (even after unfreezing) and not overly sweet where its just eating sugar and soy sauce. The non marinated items are marbled well and not pure fatty. Also the pork belly is amazing. I use it for regular eats but also in my home made jjajangmyun and its good stuff. No smell just awesome quality and good level of marbling. The home made banchans are good (maybe not the most variety but great stuff) and the various bentos or items to eat were excellent. Such an awesome establishment and glad that its supporting the south corridor. Woo hoo for new and exciting places! read more
