I absolutely adore coming here and I love telling my close friends and family about Nakata Market of Japan place! With a small space that provides a cozy atmosphere ghat doesn't feel crowded by any means, I appreciate the genuine authenticity of Japanese culture and cuisine in this place. Their quick food to grab, especially their onigiri, is made fresh daily and perfect for something to fill you up or eat on the go. I absolutely recommend for any salmon lovers as myself to get their tray of salmon nigiri and their spicy salmon onigiri. It is nicely filling and leaves me feeling refreshed! Not only do they have fresh food but the assortment of snacks and treats are never ending. In their freezers, they have an array of frozen fish, snacks, and plenty more to look at. One of my favorite things to do is purchase their frozen fish and make my own sushi night. There are also small nick knacks to the back of the store that are worth looking at! The workers alone inside are usually always very generous and don't bother unless you need help with anything. With everything being said, I genuinely recommend for anyone who wants to find a good Japanese market and doesn't want to travel far to go to here! I needed to eat early or late yesterday because of the playoff baseball game. I decided on early. I had been going to order sushi to go or to be delivered. In my search. I found Nakata on Yelp. Since it's a short drive, I was off to see the sushi they had. The store is somewhat small but they have a lot of Japanese treats. There is a large section of sushi in the cold case. I picked the large package to bring home and enjoy. The nigiri was tuna, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp, and eel. The sushi roll was 8 pieces of spicy salmon. Along with the package there were small packets of soy sauce, wasabi paste, and pickled ginger. The price was $17.99. I also decided to try one of their fruit sandwiches. I got the apricot and strawberry one. It's made like a sandwich but it's a kind of spongecake. The items were all packaged well. I enjoyed the spicy sushi roll and the nigiri. Just perfect for a dinner before the game. I saved the sandwich for a treat post game to savor the food and the win. A very nice dessert. The items were bagged along with napkins and two pairs of chopsticks. While this may not be the quality of sushi you'd get at a sushi restaurant, it was certainly a step up from what is available in grocery stores. read more

I LOVEE Asian snacks and cuisines so I had to come check out this market. Super cute little store with kind staff and with so many different ingredients,snacks, drinks and fresh made treats available here! I got myself a salmon roll , spicy tuna rice ball and a matcha and it was delicious. The sushi definitely tasted fresh and all together was a great price! I happened to be in the neighborhood for this store this morning so I decided to go exploring. I was greeted warmly when I walked in. The store is not big but it has enough products that will keep you coming back. I love the variety of onigiri, drinks, sandos, candies, and sushi being offered. I was happy to see they carry Miso dressing so I grabbed a bottle of it. I then noticed towards the back of the store they carry some Japanese pottery. A beautiful bowl caught my eye reminding me of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" painting so I grabbed it too. As I checked out, I noticed that you can order a Sushi Party Set. You can make the reservation online or in store and then select where to pick up your party tray from any of the Nakata Markets around town. Pricing for the party sets begins at $29.99 and goes up to $69.99. Jesus took care of me and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He pointed out to me that you can also order the Japanese Milk Bread from the market. There were two loaves sitting there that I was tempted to purchase but would rather order it fresh. If you have never tried this bread before, it is so unique and delicious. So happy that I stopped in here and now I want to check out the other locations around town. I will be back! read more

This store is clean & neatly organized. We came here to try the fruit sandwiches and sushi before watching the Dodger World series game on TV. They have both some Hawaiian foods too. Their dishes & mugs were cute. Too bad I'm traveling and only brought a small carry on otherwise I would have bought some dishes & mugs. I had no idea this GEM was right by my house! Consider me a new & regular customer from now on. The store is small, but jammed packed with so many goodies! From snacks, to ready to eat foots & plenty of items for the home (rice bowls, ramen bowls, sake cups etc...). I came in just looking for one thing, wonton wrappers. I get tired of driving all the way to other Asian markets that are farther and with so much traffic! I found these there and came home to make wontons. They are DELICIOUS. Come here for the drinks and candy options if you like trying different kinds. Sushi is actually way better than I was expecting too. I was expecting similar to a supermarket sushi spot which is fine and is there for a craving without much expectation but this place has nigiri that far exceeds that. A lil Japanese market in Summerlin. We don't have any Japanese markets in FL so when I was in town visiting, I had to stop by and check this place out. Mini but mighty with some great products, I spent a pretty penny in here getting snacks while I had some downtime in between a wedding's ceremony and reception. The space is clean and service was friendly. I got some salmon sushi (which tasted so fresh), onigiri, katsu sando, soft serve pre-packaged ice cream, and other snackies to take back home. It's slightly smaller than the one on Rainbow, however, they do carry different items! Since 2002, Nakata Market has been providing Las Vegas with merchandise from Japan. Some of their products include the following Fresh Sashimi General Japanese Foods Fresh Sushi, Onigiri Medicines Current hours: Monday - Sunday: 10:00AM - 7:00PM My husband and I wanted to make some Mitarashi Dango. We stopped by Nakata Market to buy some Mochiko rice flour and their imported Dango from Japan. Nakata's Dango was delicious! The texture of the Dango was chewy, tender, and soft. We popped in after our Stretch appointment to check out their yummy candy offerings, and we're so glad we did! The lovely girl at the counter greeted us with a smile and happily helped my husband with his hi-chew obsession. What a fun little market. We came here on a whim and decided to explore. For such a tiny store there's all sorts of goodies from sushi to frozen udon to packaged sweets to kitten bowls. We decided to grab a chicken katsu sando, Mont blanc cake, and strawberry cake from the refrigerated section. With an air fryer to reheat the sando at home it was almost as good as fresh. It's nice to have a Japanese market that's not on Spring Mountain. The store is rather small filled with Asian snacks, accessories, and fresh items. There was one clerk there that had a shy demeanor. The ambiance felt a bit awkward because it was very quiet. The prices are a tad higher than Asian markets such as 169 or Greenland and they carry about the same items. My favorite thing was the strawberry sandwich but it's not enough to bring me back. I was hoping this would be more of a Japanese 711 vibe but it's more like a pop up Japanese market. I'd love to see them offer more food and enhance their customer service skills to make it more welcoming. read more

Love, love, love! This little market is so wonderful! It has saved me so many trip to Chinatown! They carry grocery items as well as snacks and little knickknacks. Their sushi is amazing and not over priced! They put it out at 1030 each day until sold out. My kids love their kaarage and katsu sandwiches. Sooo pleasantly surprised there was a Nakata Market in the Summerlin area. Found this gem after searching for what was close by as I waited in Summerlin hospital for my son to be done with his procedure Greeted ever so kindly in Japanese on my way in & out. The place was clean & so organized. I made way around the store easily & started stacking all the different goodies in my arms one by one. I bought so much, I ran out of room & started a pile at the register! It reminds of of Japan's 7/11 stores that have all the sandos (sandwiches) filled with fruit/pork cutlet/chicken cutlet. They also had ready packaged sushi nigiri/rolls, chicken karaage, & onigiri! Asides from what I listed, I also snagged some Japanese chips & drinks. It was a great lunch to go & I brought everything back to the hospital. If you're wondering if the ready to go food was good quality, I say yes! Still feeling fine haha. Ate everything in one day. Newest location of Nakata Market of Japan, found in the same plaza as Albertson's. My husband and I decided to stop by this store on a Thursday morning, around 10:30 am. When we came in, we were greeted by the employee behind the counselor. We were the only ones in the store by the way. This location is pretty small but does sell premade food items (bowls, onigiri, sushi, sandos of both fruit and cream and also chicken, cut rolls, chicken), various snacks and candies, some beauty products, cute anime items, etc. We wanted to purchase some premade food items since we were going to drive on to Reno. We ended up buying: Karaage Chicken, $5.99- This was a bit too salty and would not recommend ordering this again. The amount is good to share with others though. Tuna and Salmon Cut Rolls, $9.99- There are 8 rolls of each, for a total of 16. The rolls are small but they are tasty. I haven't seen a mix of both salmon and tuna in a premade cut roll item, which is what I am assuming why the price is nearly $10. I think the price is a bit expensive but it was tasty and tasted fresh. Salmon Onigiri, $1.95- I love rice balls and thought this was just fine. The rice was not hard and perfect to eat during our long drive. Spicy Uni Onigiri, $1.95- My husband got this and didn't eat this until 2 days later, so he headed it up in the microwave. He liked it. -------------------------------- (Total= $19.88) The employee who rang up our items automatically provided us napkins and chop sticks, which was nice since we had plans to consume these items on the road. Being that there really isn't something like this in this part of town, it is nice that this small store exist. It's a small shop with Japanese products like jams, teas, pastries in plastic, candies, drinks, instant food, etc. Similar to the Japanese markets in California, they have a refrigerated section with onigiri, meat sandwiches, fruit sandwiches, sashimi, nigiri, and salad--though I did not see any bentos. Staff greeted you in the Japanese way where they would yell out "irrashaimase" upon entering, which was a nice touch. I did find that many of the products were on the pricy side. It could definitely be due to inflation, or maybe it costs more to have those items shipped to Las Begas. Regardless, it's a cute little store. read more

A great little market in the Trails Village Shopping Center, located a few doors down from Albertson's. I love the pork and the chicken tenderloin sandwiches. I also have tried the spicy tuna roll and the tuna and salmon sushi rice bites. All are a great fresh snack or meal that can be easily found in the "grab and go" refrigerated section. All the standard sushi rolls are also found here. They also have many Japanese grocery items, including snacks and drinks. One pretty unique item they stock is the fruit sandwich, with cream, strawberry and kiwi. It's been sold out almost every time I've been here. So so so happy Nakata is finally open! This location is sooooo much closer to me than their Rainbow one. Yes, it's not a market like the Rainbow one, but still super convenient for their onigiri and sushi and other ready-to-eat items. Got a couple of their tuna mayo onigiri (so so good! - 5/5) and the pork cutlet sandwich (5/5). Didn't try any of the sushi but they have individual pieces so you can create your own custom sushi tray. The workers are so friendly and helpful. Store is super clean and stocked with Japanese treats and drinks in addition to the food items. Located in the Albertsons shopping center at Village Center Circle so plenty of parking. I have been anticipating the opening of this store for quite a while and today was the day I got to check it out. From watching Nakata be built and knowing absolutely nothing about it, I thought it would be more of a restaurant but I am so happy that it was so much more. After walking in I was warmly greeted by two women behind the counter. I scanned the store before making my way to the refrigerated area. In the refrigerator there was a selection of quality sushi made in house. Perfect for a light lunch, I choose the spicy salmon roll. It was delicious and very fresh. There are options to make your own nigiri tray as well as other light bites. I walked around checking out all of the snacks and landed on some wasabi crackers and a small pack of hi chew candies (some of my fav). I loved the selection that they had already and cannot wait to see them grow. My total for the sushi and snacks came out to $10.72, not bad at all for the amount of food I received. I will probably be back at least twice a week, I work across the street which makes it all that much more convenient. I highly recommend Nakata Sushi! read more

I came in here to buy something for my husband for his birthday today. I came with my three young children and our stroller. Let me just start by saying this store is not stroller friendly. The cashier was looking at me like, oh boy here we go, because our stroller was getting stuck on the bottom plate of the front door. Not once did she offer to help which is fine. I'm trying my best to keep my kids in check and make sure they are not grabbing everything but I honestly felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The cashier moved our stroller out of the way without saying and asking for permission. I would not have minded if she said that I had to move it. At this moment I decided to leave. I spend $36 on the times pictured. A little pricey but I wanted to try it.. the strawberry sandwich was superb, the strawberry was sweet and the bread was also sweeet I truly enjoyed it! The tuna mayo onigiri was good surprising, but I did add kewpie mayo (picture below) to it for more moisture. I was not a fan of the chicken cutlet, but the portion was decent. Love this place! The cutest little location in Summerlin. The customer service is always the sweetest! I usually come here for all the sandos and snacks. They have some great varieties of Hawaiian snacks/seasonings too! They get their food delivered daily around 10:30am. Sometimes items are gone quick by lunch time. So if you ever want to try something you didn't find, try going early. I like their egg sandos. If you like cucumber's, they do put some in there that gives it a little crunch. I was in a hurry so I just picked up a sushi roll. The roll wasn't spectacular but served as a great on the go lunch. I'm still curious to try other items. The only thing that I was put off by was the customer service. The young lady working did not say hi or smile when I walked in, while I browsed, or when I checked out. This is my go-to place for whenever I'm craving for sushi and want something cheap instead of doing to AYCE. I always get their onigiris and sushi rolls. They are made and put out on the same day. Their fish is always fresh. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. The store also offers a variety of different Japanese snacks, drinks, seasonings, sauces, ramen, etc that you normally find at a Japanese grocery store or Asian market. This place is so CUTE! I absolutely loved that there is a Japanese market close to home. The service was great as I was greeted immediately upon walking in. They have a great deal of products ranging from snacks, sushi grade fish (you can take home), prepared sushi, cooking ingredients and tools. I picked up two take home ready sushi plates and both were just OK. I was excited since the color on the tuna sushi looks appealing but it was nothing special. It got the job done and each plate of sushi was $7-$7.49. I would come here again for the snacks but likely skip out on the sushi. read more
