The but her Bloc has a little bit of everything. Was really impressed with all their choices. Won't in for some steaks and left with links and some wings as well. The staff was awesome. She broke it all down where everything was and had some recommendations of her self I should try. Definitely will be coming back for more steaks

My husband decided to cook several filet mignon for dinner. We decided to stop by The Butcher Block to pick up a few pieces! The Butcher Block is located in Northwest Las Vegas, off of the 215/Durango N exit. It's located in a shopping plaza next to a few other local businesses such as North End Pizza. The parking can get really difficult especially during the evening hours around 4-5 pm. Inside the Butcher Block, you'll notice a lot of fresh meat selections. The cuts were phenomenal. You can purchase Filet Mignon, Ribs, Chicken, Sausages, Steak Burgers and so much more! The Filets were amazing! The cuts were lean. We seasoned the steaks with pepper and salt, topped with garlic butter. It was scrumptious!! Next time, I'll have to try some of their pre-made options and get a few cuts of their sausages.

Staff here is always super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I love that you can get wagyu cuts along with sashimi grade cuts. I've gotten their salmon before to make a sashimi salad, which was wonderful with a yuzu dressing.

The standouts for me were the Cotton Candy Foie Gras and the Caviar Cone. The foie melted instantly with the cotton candy and crispy corn nuts -- playful, rich, and balanced. The Caviar Cone with ossetra, horseradish crème fraîche, and gold leaf was one perfect, luxurious bite. Both are the kind of dishes you'll talk about after. The Jamón Ibérico de Bellota was hand-cut and honestly perfect. Delicate, nutty, with that acorn-fed flavor that lingers. We did the Fire Roasted King Crab enhancement and it was tender and delicious. The brown butter dashi brûlée and sobrasada crumble took it over the top. Also loved the Smoke & Ice Oysters and the Japanese A5 Wagyu -- buttery doesn't even cover it. The Tarta de Queso basque cheesecake with hazelnut praline was the ideal end to the marathon. Service was flawless. Our team kept water and wine filled without us asking, explained each course, and paced everything well for a group. Attentive without hovering. Pro tip: Come hungry. This is 15+ courses plus the crab and they don't skimp. Would absolutely return. If you want theatrical, top-tier dining in Vegas, this is it.

Considering the convention traffic, I'm guessing they wanted to have options for business dinners. ‍ If you're going for a date or with friends. I suggest Rojo - it's loud but it's a vibe. The food: Mostly the same menu as the old locale, but why mess with near perfection? A few adds - the brown butter cauliflower (very good; would love a pinch of flaky salt) and the basque cheesecake. The croquetas got a new sneaker! If this is your first time, you cannot miss the classic tartare, the cotton candy foie gras, or Neptune's pillow. For a bit of extra fun, try the bison carpaccio. The service: impeccable as always. We sat with a server named Sunday who not only knew the menu backwards and forwards, but gave the exact right amount of pomp and circumstance. (Order the bison and find out what I mean.) Shout out to Kirin (food runner) and George (Sommelier) for pride in their craft and adding to the experience. Parking: this is the only real drag. If you're going on a Sphere concert night, expect to pay $30 for event parking. Take an uber or suck it up - you cannot miss this meal.

The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy and packed with deep flavor, pairing nicely with the complimentary sweet BBQ sauce even though they do not strictly need it. Unlike most places where the pulled pork dries out, this one stays remarkably moist and savory throughout. Chili (4/5): A very unique side that is much thinner and more watery than a traditional chili, holding a texture closer to a thin spaghetti sauce. Despite the looser consistency, it is absolutely packed with a variety of delicious smoked meats in every single bite. Mac and Cheese (5/5): An exceptional side dish and a clear favorite of the meal. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and distinctively flavored with sharp cheddar, which gives it a much bolder and more satisfying punch than standard restaurant mac and cheese. Corn Bread (5/5): This side functions almost like a dessert, boasting an incredibly sweet, vanilla cake like taste. The high level of sweetness provides a nice contrast to the intense salt, smoke, and savory flavors of the massive meat plate. Logistics Tip: Parking is limited but manageable between the two adjacent lots, and there is a clean restroom on site. To help beat the intense heat, they generously provide complimentary bottles of ice cold water. Keep in mind that they hosted live music on the late Saturday morning that we went. While it adds a fun, energetic backyard vibe, it can get incredibly loud and makes chatting with friends difficult, so you may want to bring ear protection or plan your arrival time accordingly.

The staff were super friendly and attentive from start to finish, which made the experience even better. We decided to try some of their newer menu items -- the Chicken & Sausage Plate ($15.99) and the Picanha Plate ($16.99). Both were absolutely delicious. The meats were grilled perfectly, juicy, and flavorful with that signature Brazilian-style seasoning. The Picanha especially stood out -- tender, rich, and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of char. For sides, the Brazilian cheese bread was warm, soft, and slightly chewy -- such a comforting bite. I also really enjoyed the pasta side, which was creamy and surprisingly tasty. Disappointing Experience as Returning Local Customers…read more We are Las Vegas locals and had visited Rollin Smoke Barbecue before. Our previous experiences were great, so when we were craving barbecue, we decided to return expecting another enjoyable meal. We ordered several combo meals to take home so we could try a variety of meats, sandwiches, and sides. One thing that caught us off guard was the $8 upcharge per sandwich to make it a combo ($16 total for the two sandwiches we ordered). We understand that upgrades cost extra, but those charges should be explained clearly when customers are ordering. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The portions seemed smaller than we remembered. The barbecue sauce was much sweeter than we expected and overpowered the flavor of the meat instead of complementing it. Some of the meats and sandwiches were also bland, lacking the rich, smoky barbecue flavor we remembered. There also wasn't much barbecue meat on the sandwiches, making them feel skimpy for the price. This isn't about being cheap--it's about value. We don't mind paying for good barbecue, but for the price we expected more. The combo didn't feel worth the extra cost. The side portions were very small. We were also concerned about the restroom. It was located near the kitchen, appeared rundown, and did not seem properly maintained or sanitized. A toilet brush was leaning against the wall, which added to the unclean appearance. Its condition made us question the restaurant's overall cleanliness and whether proper handwashing and food-handling practices were being followed. The most concerning issue happened after we ate the food at home. Both of us became very sick after eating from the same order. The photos included with this review were originally taken because we planned to share a positive post supporting a local restaurant we had enjoyed. We even noticed the sign encouraging customers to take photos, tag the restaurant, and share their experience. Unfortunately, after what happened, we decided to include the photos only to document our visit, what we ordered, and the condition of the restaurant. Between the unexpected combo upcharges, small portions, skimpy sandwiches, overly sweet barbecue sauce, bland food, cleanliness concerns, and both of us becoming sick afterward, this was a very disappointing experience. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its food preparation, storage, sanitation, restroom maintenance, and overall quality control. Sadly, after this experience, we no longer feel comfortable returning.

This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.
