    In house pot pies

Came to featherblade the day of my birthday to see if they had any cowboy steaks. I don't like the tomahawk ribeye I think it's all for show and I don't need the show since I'm gonna be cooking it but I did want a bone in ribeye which the butcher cut for me and cleaned it up real nice for me. I appreciate that, but your talk to me about the size in the way of the meat that I wanted. He was very knowledgeable and I was very happy with what I got. I'm from Lancaster California so even put it on ice to carry back to Cali. While I was there, I did pick up some of the pies to try. I didn't get the lamb one because I don't eat much lamb but the other ones look pretty good. The shop is pretty large on the inside. So I tasted all three of the pies that are in the picture. The chicken one is the best. One of them all has a smoky taste. I wish I had. Vegetables in it and a little bit more thicker broth. The beef one is OK. It also needed a thicker broth and more vegetables. In my opinion. Now the pork one they need to work on our that one is terrible or at least the filling is they didn't cook off the wine and it was very strong. The pastry is for all three pies was excellent. That was the best part of all three pies. I would not get the pies again. I'm sure their beef is going to be good when I cook it, stay tuned for the review of the cowboy ribeyes.

Featherblade's first store is fortunately right around the corner from me. I have been a patron since opening day and they have evolved into something truly special! Some of the most high-end meat you can buy in the valley at a reasonable price. From Creekstone Farms to A5 Japanese Wagyu they have it all! I bought a 30 day dry aged Creekstone Farms bone in ribeye for my dad for Father's Day. He said it was the best steak he's ever had in his life.! During my visit, they were cooking cheesesteaks in the store - I got one for my lunch and it's one of the best ones I ever had, which is super surprising! Kudos to the chef! Do yourself a favor and visit one of their locations - you will not be disappointed!

Always a great meal from quality meats here! I pre-ordered their Beef Wellington for four. It easily fed five.!! So delicious I just can't describe! This is a definite make again for a very important event ! Thx team! KK your NFL Cheerleader!!!

These are lamb loin chops. They were awesome tonight on the grill

I've been there a few times. The people are knowledgeable and very helpful. The owner Martin is a professional and gracious. I had posted a negative review yesterday, but I think I overreacted. Truth is, I'll be back

I picked up a New York strip steak from Featherblade Craft Butchery, and it was hands-down one of the best cuts I've ever cooked. From the moment I unwrapped it, you could tell the quality, beautiful marbling, rich color, and super fresh. After a simple seasoning and quick sear, it developed an incredible crust while staying tender and juicy inside. The flavor was next level, buttery, beefy, and exactly what you'd hope for from a premium butcher. You can tell Featherblade truly care about their craft. This will definitely be my go-to spot for high-quality meats from now on.

Was visiting Vegas and heard great things about this English style butcher. Wow great selection of meats, crafted savory pies, sausages and hot grab items. They also have condiments and spice mixes. Great customer service was greeted by several employees as I walked in the door. I had questions about products being the first time in the shop. Chris one of the expert butchers kindly explained to me some of the cuts. Including the namesake "Featherblade" cut which is common in England. I purchased a variety of sausages, pasties and a savory pie. The pie "girl" was visiting and she explained the different pies they make in house. I got a meat pie with Guinness. If you on the Westside of Vegas stop in this great shop. Oh and it smells great when you walkin!

Excellent customer service! Busy little shop stocked with fresh, quality cuts! They sell pasta, seasonings, specialty sauces! Just a wonderful little gem of a butcher! Pretty busy on Saturdays but service is fast! There's a hot case filled with individually wrapped tacos, ready to enjoy. I didn't order any but several customers came in to order them! Two small seats in the corner of the store for comfort but, the shop itself is fairly small. Since service is speedy, you're in and out.

This is a true gem, and even a reason to interrupt vegetarianism in favor of humanely raised and respectfully treated meats. I wanted to buy everything in the store, from hanger steak to goat butter. We got wonderful service from John, who is an absolute artist with the knife. Another customer told us about the option to buy a chuck and let Featherblade age it for two months before grinding it into burgers -- for free! DONE. I'll have to update the review this winter to let you know how those turned out. My one complaint is that the Cornish pasty, and especially the Daddy sausage roll, had underbaked pastry. The meat inside was flavorful and juicy, so there's no reason for pale and flaccid dough. They need to crank the heat up at the end of the bake and get that crust good and brown. I put them in a hot convection oven at home for about 7 minutes and ended up with a much better lunch.

Ask the Community - Featherblade Craft Butchery

Hello. Does the Featherblade Craft Butchery process wild game such as elk?

Hi there, unfortunately we do not as we don't have the separate storage and processing required for that. I believe John Mulls Road Kill Grill still offers wild custom processing. Hope that helps!

Do you guys have/do denver steak cut?

We do indeed! We typically have a Wagyu grain finished version and a grass finished from the chuck

Do you sell beef fat trimmings? If so how much?

Hi there, yes we sell grass finished beef suet fat usually, at $5.99 per lb. we also use it to make tallow which is approx $14 a pint. Thank you

Do they sell bacon that is not pork?

We do! Beef and lamb bacon, but we don’t have it all the time as we make it ourselves, best to place an order

Do they sell pork soup bones?

    Hi there, yes we do; if not in the freezer, ask and we'll get some from our walk-in;

    Do they sell beef suet?

We do indeed, grass finished usually? But best to call or text to make sure we have it in, we often render it ourselves to make our tallow

Do you have hens (old hens, stewing hens?

Hi there, yes we do, we currently have 4 in stock, they’re about 2.5 lb each and are $2.99 per pound. Thank you!

    Do they sell veal cutlets?

Hi there, we do indeed, fresh veal cutlets, rack and ground veal.

    Do you carry duck heads?

Hi there! We don’t regularly stock them but we do get in about 8-10 ducks a week so we could definitely save the heads if you’d like them

Are the lamb samosas available everyday?

Hi there, yes generally the samosas are available everyday, cooked or uncooked; if you’d like it guaranteed shoot us a text before you come in and we’ll make it happen

Do they sell uncooked pig skin? Usually it's waste but I'd like to buy some to practice tattooing on. Thanks!

You need to go out and kill a pig so you know it's your own. There are some near the Virgin River. Take a .357 at least. They are mean animals.

Does this shop offer picanha (top sirloin cap) cuts?

Yes, they do offer picanha, BUT...to guarantee this, I recommend calling ahead and reserving it. I have had it from them before, and it was FANTASTIC!!!

What are the prices like here? Please provide examples of costs?

For high-end items like ribeye, it's $10-25 per pound. But for lower end items, like chicken, it's approximately $3-6 per pound. It's expensive, but very high quality, not something you get in most grocery stores or butcher shops.

We came here for a celebratory birthday for a friend and they treated us correct. Everyone had the filet and it melted as soon as we put the knife on it. This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.

The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy and packed with deep flavor, pairing nicely with the complimentary sweet BBQ sauce even though they do not strictly need it. Unlike most places where the pulled pork dries out, this one stays remarkably moist and savory throughout. Chili (4/5): A very unique side that is much thinner and more watery than a traditional chili, holding a texture closer to a thin spaghetti sauce. Despite the looser consistency, it is absolutely packed with a variety of delicious smoked meats in every single bite. Mac and Cheese (5/5): An exceptional side dish and a clear favorite of the meal. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and distinctively flavored with sharp cheddar, which gives it a much bolder and more satisfying punch than standard restaurant mac and cheese. Corn Bread (5/5): This side functions almost like a dessert, boasting an incredibly sweet, vanilla cake like taste. The high level of sweetness provides a nice contrast to the intense salt, smoke, and savory flavors of the massive meat plate. Logistics Tip: Parking is limited but manageable between the two adjacent lots, and there is a clean restroom on site. To help beat the intense heat, they generously provide complimentary bottles of ice cold water. Keep in mind that they hosted live music on the late Saturday morning that we went. While it adds a fun, energetic backyard vibe, it can get incredibly loud and makes chatting with friends difficult, so you may want to bring ear protection or plan your arrival time accordingly.
