Just happened by and was glad to find this pizza place. I was told that this is a pizzeria from 1932 in Buenos Aires that finally left Argentina to grow outside of the United States. Turns out the pizza looked incredible and tasted even better. It was a stuffed crust pizza with the cheese and fillings on the inside olives and red peppers on the outside. Although the peppers are actually called morron. Combined with great beers on tap it would be a great place to walk into off the beach which is right around the corner. I am soooooo happy this place exists!!! Being from argentina, when I found out there was an Argentine pizzeria in Miami Beach, I got excited and nervous at the same time. Nervous that I would be disappointed, and would continue missing Argentine pizza. Once they brought the pizza and fugazzeta to the table, I knew I was about to taste a little bit of home. With the look and smell I was transported back to Buenos Aires. You have to try this pizza and also try the fugazzeta, and no need to ask for extra cheese. Argentine pizza already come with a very generous amount of cheese that when you serve a slice, that cheese can stretch over a mile. We said that they should serve the pizza along with a pair of scissors to be able to cut all the strings of cheese. I am so happy this place exists. I am already counting the days to go back. Delicious! This style pizza is somewhere between Chicago and Detroit style pizza. As someone who's lived in Chicago/Midwest for half my life, I can say with authority that I was impressed with the delicious slices. I ordered the classic pepperoni (which was loaded with toppings) and the cheese really melted, I mean REALLY melted. 3.5 stars. I came here with my family from Uruguay. My dad said they have this pizza chain in Buenos Aires. As an avid pizza eater, I thought it would be good to try the fugazetta rellena, an Argentinean specialty (which I'm pretty sure Banchero calls fugazza con queso). The menu is totally in Spanish and I didn't realize it until later. We ordered the fugazza rellena con cebolla and the caprese. The friendly waitress brought out the caprese first and the crust was much thicker and fluffier than I would have preferred. I would have liked more tomato sauce, which was pretty good, on the caprese. The fugazza con queso came out second. I didn't like this one as much as the caprese due to the excessive amount of cheese, but it was okay. They also apparently have pasta off-menu here, so if you'd rather have that, let the staff know. read more
