It was a great value with full sized portions, I felt satisfied and full. The lobster roll was melt in your mouth, while the bread was soft and crisp on the outside. Beautiful ambiance, and our server was great. It opens up to the lounge, where there's live music every night, so you get to hear the music while you eat. The beets and the sea bass are not to be missed. So delicious. The octopus was also good, and the tuna crudo was the only thing lacking. After this poor experience I cannot recommend this place . This was my second time eating here during Sunday Asado. Everything was a big disappointment and most of all our waiter. This was in early June 2025. First they did not offer the same variety of meats like was available when I came in 2023 and the prices had increased. The meat was on the dryer side and was not the same quality from my previous experience. Everything tasted re-heated and lukewarm including the sides. Only the desert selection was great. Now for the service , the waiter seemed snippy and rushed despite the place being mostly empty. Fine dining in Miami isn't hard to find. Michelin restaurants on the other hand are few and far between. I couldn't make a trip to Miami without knocking off at least one fine dining experience and Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann is where I decided to go! Located in the Faena hotel in Miami Beach, Los Fuegos is an upscale Argentinian steak house. Chef Francis Mallmann is a world famous chef and Argentina's most famous chef known for his open-fire cooking. You know this foodie had to try! Ambiance: 5 stars for the burlesque look! Wow! Service: 4 stars staff were nice but not all of them. I'll explain later in this review. Food: 5 stars Starter: There were no salads on the menu to my surprise. When I asked the waiter about salad options there was a house salad or a Brussel Sprout salad. I asked which one was best, he said his favorite was the Brussel Sprout salad. Roasted Brussel Sprouts peeled apart, in a creamy dressing, with shaved croutons and Parmesan cheese was one of the best salads I've ever eaten! Literally exceeded every expectation! Complementary bread was fresh, the butter was churned and smooth. I opted for the sea bass. Sea Bass is not easy to cook perfectly but Los Fuegos did an exceptional job at it! Plated beautifully on top of crispy black rice (looked green) this dish was absolutely delicious! Drinks were great! Back to service. This place is busy, as it should be, however the bar area is super crowded. The patio area is only great when weather is permitting. We sat on the patio even with a late reservation only to feel the wind hit us. All the other tables were taken to inner seating but because we didn't complain we sat in the cold windy chilled area. The server was just okay, they add the gratuity to the check so for me I felt that service may have been better if they didn't already know they were getting a tip. Our table didn't get dessert because of the weather. Overall, this is fine dining but worth every single penny! read more

I had an amazing night here. Started with the beef tartare -- super fresh and flavorful -- then the Argentine wood-fired tenderloin, cooked perfectly with that smoky char. I wasn't impressed by Los Fuegos. The ambiance was the best part about the experience. The Brussels sprout salad starter was very good, but I had the Chilean sea bass and the prime New York strip. The sea bass was cold and lacked flavor. The strip was hot, and the cut of meat was mostly tender, but overall it lacked flavor as well. I also tried the gnocchi, which was different, but was missing something. For a unique twist on gnocchi it lacked flavor and seemed to miss the mark. I had a whiskey cocktail which was very subpar. Overall, Los Fuegos was good, the service was okay, but I don't think it's worth the $$$$. It was good enough to be tempted to try again and try different dishes, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. read more

I had the chef special Mallmann's tenderloin and it was unique. It had a breadcrumb crust, cooked to a perfect medium. I love a soft boiled egg. The accompany boulangere potato was just ok. I wished that it had a chimichurri or anything herbaceous instead of the little dab of mustard. The rest of my party also enjoyed their steaks and everything overall. We had a great fine dining meal at Los Fuegos. I had been looking forward to this reservation for quite some time. We were a little underprepared (and underdressed) for how nice this place was. It is Miami chic in all ways. Dress to impress and be prepared to be waited on. Prices reflect! It has a good menu for vegetarians, with lots of options in both apps and mains. This restaurant inside Faena, by Chef's Table Francis Mallmann, is a must while you are staying at the hotel. We tried both the lunch and dinner while staying at the hotel, as well as the Sunday Asado (BBQ on Sunday, with the same food but a semi pre-fixed menu). Throughout all 3 meals, we tried several menu items including the cheese and beef empanadas, tuna tartare, roasted cauliflower, prime beef tartare, Chilean sea bass, burrata, skirt steak, and the beef tenderloin "Milanesa". The Milanesa and the empanadas (at lunch, NOT at the BBQ) were by far the best thing on the menu. I think everything else was ok, but not mind-blowing. Nothing was "memorable" to either of us. It is a cool ambiance, with very fancy red and gold decor, and live music playing over in the Living Room. Service was exceptional and treated us well. The BBQ was a fun concept (you can watch everything being cooked, and sit out on the Veranda), but overall thought the food was (surprisingly) less fresh than both lunch and dinner inside the restaurant. For me it was a 5 star all around. Service, presentation, and of course food. I can't understand how this restaurant has an average of 3.9 at the moment. The bread basket was fantastic, the wood oven artichokes were a standout and the rigatoni was pure delight. The place is so beautifully decorated. There is an inside dining area as well as an outside. Depending on your comfort, you can sit inside and watch all the action outside through the floor to ceiling glass. Beautiful bar prepares your drinks. Now things that you need to know: valet parking as of this writing was listed at $35.00 which I feel is very steep for a lunch, you can street park, but you may have to walk, and it may be a challenge depending on the day and time. The menu items can range from moderate to very pricey depending on what you pick. Even specials like the Miami Spice menu can get pricey. There is a 20% tip automatically added and you will also be exposed to the tourist tax. The dessert option which I chose was the strawberry tiramisu and it was very, very good. Portions for most things will be reasonable to rather large. I feel it was an elevated experience all around. read more

The best service, hands down in Miami. The food. is phenomenal and the ambiance is unmatched. Unsent recently for the Miami Spice Menu and was not let down. I strayed away from my usual and ordered the LUMACONI PASTA AND BLACK TRUFFLE RICOTTA, which was a mouth watering and unexpected dish. It was full of flavor and the pasta was crispy on the edges which made it very interesting. The Ricotta Truffle was so creamy and had the perfect aroma. The decor is eclectic. There is indoor, outdoor, couch and chair seating. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and there is usually a DJ or live music. Made brunch reservations ahead of time for my fiancée's birthday celebration in Miami. After arriving on time, we were ushered to our table and told to immediately order all appetizers and entrees because the kitchen closes at 4:00pm (our reservation was for 3:00pm). We were then told we could not order from the normal menu and were instructed to order from a limited one. After awkwardly but politely ordering, random plates of food began appearing all over the place. Not one server knew where to place any of the dishes, causing chaos. Mind you, we still had not ordered our cocktails. After eating our food and getting our cocktail 35 minutes into brunch, nobody returned to our table. We soon found out about a dessert buffet located inside (where I had requested to sit, but we were put outside next to the service station) and helped ourselves. I mentioned to the hostess my dissatisfaction on the way to the restroom, and to not create a scene because that's not my style. She insisted on me talking to the manager when I returned. I waited for the manager and explained our weird experience. He did not seem to care and offered no help. I followed up with a private review to the restaurant via email and have yet to hear anything back more than a month later. I usually don't leave many negative reviews but now I'm here. The restaurant knew they were accommodating a large brunch and did not think to reach out and say the kitchen would be closing so soon, or mention anything about a limited menu. Nor did they say we would be sitting outside after requesting inside. Not to mention how unqualified the service was for such a sought after hotel. The hotel and restaurant claims to portray excellence and swagger, but this is definitely a false facade. read more

Wow, what an immaculate night! Located inside the Faena hotel, Los Fuegos immediately, transports you to another world, outside of Miami. The vibes and ambiance are truly spectacular. We arrived and hung out by the bar at first and enjoyed a few espresso martinis -- as an espresso martini lover, I'd confidently say this one was 10/10. We were then seated in the main dining area and ordered a few bites to try. We ordered: Prime Beef Tartare, empanadas, mushroom pasta and creme brulee. All the food was delicious but the beef tartare was definitely my favorite! The service was one of my favorite parts about my experience, from the server to the hostess and the busers, everyone was so knowledgeable, sweet and hospitable. I had the best experience at Los Fuegos to celebrate my friend's bachelorette. The restaurant is located within Faena and the dining room's absolutely gorgeous. The live music was definitely the highlight - All the singers had great voices and they walked around serenading the crowd. While waiting for our table to be ready, I ordered the Faena Whisper at the bar. It was so refreshing and one of the better cocktails I've had in Miami. As for food, I shared the Chilean sea bass and butternut squash with someone else. The fish was cooked perfectly; It was moist, firm, and fell into flakes as expected. It went well with the crispy black rice on the bottom. Butternut squash had an interesting presentation... It was like a blob drenched in white and green sauces. When arriving our tabke had been set outside, we asked if we could please be moved inside as Miami summer is no joke but they did not do anything for us (the person at the front desk was not very nice about it). We had to send one of them back it was so undercooked - Pasta was clumped together - when staff wiped down tables, they didn't wipe under the lamps/plants - wine was poured haphazardly into glasses at uneven levels - table would get half bussed. Some items taken and some left - awkward to have a table display selling to-go pastries as you are checking in with the hostess. - we also watched as a couple entered the restaurant to find their friend, who had already been seated. No one escorted them, so they were left to wander the large restaurant. Embarrassing. We first went to their " living room " area without knowing; we were left waiting there for a good 10min saying someone would be with us shortly, to then be told we were at the wrong entrance. My skirt steak was cooked well but had no seasoning or flavor so I requested salt and pepper which is a no-no in fine dining. My wife's branzino was good but lacking presentation with too much cold yogurt sauce and just a little quinoa. As foodies, not a great dining experience for $ spent. Los Fuegos is absolutely stunning! Their indoor dining room is gorgeous and rich and their outside. Dining is so comfortable and beautiful as well! You Can't go wrong wherever they seat you in this restaurant or on this entire property at Faena !!! The food is very good. I've been here a number of times and had their fish dishes, but this time I was here for a luncheon. It was a pre fix menu , so I didn't have a choice to order the food, but almost everything they served was outstanding. I am actually happy that we had a prefix menu because I would've never ordered anything that was on it , so I'm so happy that I got to try all of this delicious food ~outside of my comfort zone ! We started with wood oven empanadas. I will serve the hand cut prime fillet empanada with Llajua sauce. I'm not a big red meat eater, but I would definitely eat this again! I enjoyed this with the pink, grapefruit and orange salad. The salad is so light and refreshing yet has so many different flavors and textures in it. I already want to come back for the salad. Besides the citrus it had avocado, roasted hazelnuts, which gave it a great crunch, red onion, which I picked out because I can't digest red onion and top with aged parmigiana Reggiano on the plate. It had sections of different sauces that you could mix into the salad, which just gave us so many different flavors if you chose to use a really nice option. Next, they brought out a copper grill parillada. This included skirt, steak, sliced, and organic chicken. We had a side of Chimchurri & criolla sauces to accompany the meats. We also had domino potato, which I didn't care for . The potato slices were hard hard and didn't have any taste to them. They also serve a sweet potato " Al Rescoldo " which was very delicious. For dessert, we have the option of dolce de Leche, pancake, flan, or chocolate nemesis. I had a chocolate nemesis and could eat these every day. If they were calorie free, lol they are the size of like a chocolate truffle. The consistency was like chocolate pudding, but thicker. It was so yummy. It was filled with some thing that seemed like vanilla bean ice cream. I wish I would've asked exactly what was in them. I think I'm going to have to go back to dinner there now, just to find out if that's vanilla ice cream inside the chocolate, but whatever it is, order it! FYI , The service was amazing at Los Fuegos weather sitting inside or outside. I love the outside for lunch and the stunning dining room for dinner. read more
