The food was beyond amazing!! Service was spectacular, and the place was very cute. Don't let the outside of an old Sonic put you off. Do you like authentic Mexican? Eat here! The food was fresh, and the vegetables cooked perfectly.

Gotta get some of their breakfast tacos. Soft, homemade flour tortillas with generous amounts of your favorites. Lunch specials are also worth it.

Run away & Go somewhere else. This place is disgusting. We came here for enchiladas and they were the worst I've ever seen. They were soaked in grease and the tortilla was hard. I've had school enchiladas better than this. Before the food even came out I could tell the food was going to be as horrible as their customer service. The waitress had a horrible attitude and the little boy they have working I don't even think he speaks English because he just stared at me when I asked him a question. It's horrible that they would even make people pay for this. I'm Never coming back.

They made great food! I haven't made a review yet, but I haven't had any issues here! And I like that they take the time, even when packed, to not throw your food on a plate, but instead to carefully place it. So the other day I went to ANOTHER Mexican restaurant and ordered mini tacos and I it was upside down in the box, wIth only a sprinkle of cilantro and onions, all thrown around. Today I ordered the same thing and just look how great it looks, and this was during a rush! Always going to the place!

The waitresses are the most greedy selfish b1tches who think they are better than anyone and everyone else because they are high off of tips people leave them. the food is good one day and awful the next. they completely take the customers for granted. they think the customer is only here to give them money. they have a bad habit of forgetting who ordered the food because they always take too long talking to each other and doing nothing important all day to get the food out to you in time. they also dont serve certain selective traditional mexican food because they cant afford to buy it from their whole seller or they didnt re-stock their pantry in time. these people are also hardcore narcissists on the worst level and only care about your money. they are so corrupted by greed that one time they falsely accused my mom of stealing tips when another employee had to vouch for my mom and let the first employee know that she didnt steal anything from the business. this place is more trouble than its worth. also expect to be stared at and ignored at some point while you politely wait for them to take your order. they dont have to be busy to stare at you like you are lost and dont belong here and carry on with their business without a care in the world about you. this will be be one lesson learned not to come here any more.

It's a small place that you can miss, I've been going off and on for the last two years and this is the first time I'm able to let people know what I think about it's food and hospitality. I go in the morning to have breakfast and I like the ....ok I don't remember the name but have a picture of it. I like this place and breakfast so far and someday try there dinner. They are on their phones a lot even with two TV's going. It was not packed this time around so service was fast. Try it out and let me know if you like or diss like it.

I've been really impressed by the flavor of their tacos. And look forward to going again this weekend. Be sure to take advantage of their taco special before 11, 3 tacos of the same kind only about $3.29 or so. Great way to feed your family on a budget.

I enjoy coming here. The food is pretty good. The service is good, never short staffed. Tonight there was a young man with his guitar playing music, that was cool. I believe he even took requests. I love that I could get a beer here too, and free chips and queso is always a plus. Their Jalisco burrito is really good and I get that often. If you're a fan of horchata, than you've got to try theirs. This play is drive through as well as dine in. I've gone through the drive through quite a few times, never been disappointed. Food always comes out hot and in a acceptable amount of time. My go to burrito spot!

I decided to stay in the city longer to check out this place. This restaurant is huge and the wait was 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We used our waiting time to stroll through the Mercado across the way. Once the table was ready, my friend got a text. I always wanted to try menudo every Mexican restaurant I go to. But not until I saw the sign on the back cover. This restaurant is under the same owner as Pico de Gallo. Omg. I just had their menudo the day before. No thanks. I decided to order fajita chicken salad. The portion was really small. The food only filled a half of the fried salad bowl. I asked to put cheese on the side. It may had it look more but I don't eat cheese as much. I was glad that dressing was on the side. Which was too salty for me. So, if the food was the same as other chain, we could have eaten there which was closer to the hotel. But I noticed the difference was the servers. Our waitress was cuter and very polite. My friends kept teasing her. She kept good manner and responded back with a smile "uhhh no". Hahaha.

The hostess was a little drab but as I was walked in to be seated, you could feel the upbeat mood. Note that if you're dining solo, they will push hard to seat you at a dark diner type counter to stare at the kitchen area even if you have a reservation, so don't give in unless you're starving and that's your last resort. The colorful decor hits you and you're transported. I ordered the "Mexican Dinner" with chicken enchilada, pork tamal, beef taco with beans and rice. Also had a side order of fresh handmade tortillas. Paloma to wash it all down. Everything tasted great. My server was excellent. Patient and helpful with recommendations. The mariachi band was fun and they roamed the restaurant and bar to play, so chances are that if they aren't singing at your table then they're nearby.

Cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and love the pickled onions and lime on the side. My husband ordered the old fashioned, which he liked. I got the mezcal spritz which was 10/10 (and huge). They ran out of cheesecake so they gave us tres leches as a substitute--as a huge tres leches fan, this was even better. Both desserts were outstanding. 10/10 will be back if visiting San Antonio again Service was also exceptional--ask for Theresa!! Love the setting, definitely sit outside if you can! The biggest issue which is concerning is all of the birds flying from table to table and through the outside area during breakfast/brunch time of day. The staff does everything they can but it's impossible to keep birds away being outside. Leads to some concerns about the sanitation & cleanliness while birds are hanging out on half the empty tables and chairs. We could have moved inside and probably would if we visit again. The food was delicious and it is still a great place to try as long as your good with birds. My sister who joined us was a little leery of their presence the entire time.

There's such a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. As parents with notoriously picky eaters, we especially appreciate how accommodating the staff is - it's such a relief to know that our kids can also find something yummy with just a quick chat with the staff member. That really makes a difference for a family outing! And oh my goodness, the appetizers are simply fantastic. We couldn't get enough! I also have to give a special shout-out to the Carrajillo I ordered. It was such a delightful surprise - perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a lovely citrusy kick that made it incredibly refreshing. Definitely a new favorite drink! We're already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of amazing menu. Just a little heads-up for anyone else, we realized on our way out that there's an extra parking lot right across the street if the main one fills up. Super handy to know!

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
