The food was so good, it definitely hit the spot when we were looking for something to eat. The place was very clean and the service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the bulgogi Bibimbap (so recommended), fried chicken so crunchy I can still hear it, and the Sotteok Sotteok so good and spicy. Definitely we will be back

Great experience all around. I went for both the soy garlic and Korean bbq flavored wings - perfectly crispy as always. Dare I say these are my favorite wings in town! The bao buns and bulgogi were also delish and packed with flavor. The service was quick and friendly and the inside has a modern but casual vibe. Great spot for sharing plates with friends.

In downtown Greensboro you can enjoy a variety of Korean dishes that are consistently well prepared and quite tasty. I've been several times and each time had something different. This time I had the dumpling soup with pork and it was delicious and just right size for lunch on a cold day. My husband loves the wings. The service is pretty good even during their busy lunch rush. I recommend the fried rice also.

So we wanted to try the Korean fried chicken. We have a different version of it. We got 9 pieces of chicken for $15 plus bucks that ended up being not really 9 pieces. They toke a whole wing and cut it up to make two pieces. So the price was a little bit too expensive for you to cut up on whole wing and made it two. So we got it in two different flavors. Because you can get in divide in two different flavor. Soy garlic and regular crispy. Now the soy garlic was delicious but the regular lacks of flavor. We also got the fried seafood rice and fries. The rice for $13 plus was a no. The seafood fried rice had absolutely no flavor and the taste was plain. The fires were decent. It also comes with a small coleslaw with was pretty good. The service was good. It's a nice seating area. Another thing was the price of a can soda was $3.50. Now will we try this again? Probably only for the soy garlic chicken and maybe the coleslaw. Do we recommend it? Idk everyone has different taste buds.

We first tried Bonchon years ago in Chapel Hill. We were very excited when they opened up shop in Greensboro. Usually most people opt for the tables but we like to sit at the bar which is usually empty when have been here. There was no wait at 8pm on a Friday night. Thankfully, they close at 10pm so we had plenty of time to eat. We were excited to see a new menu flyer with some pretty sweet Bulgogi Takeover specials. We immediately picked the Seoul Sampler that comes with 2 drums, 4 wings, Bulgolgi fries, pork potstickers, Korean street corn, coleslaw with your choice of a dipping sauce. Kewpie mayo, ranch, cucumber Wasabi, spicy mayo, or Bibimbap sauce. The sampler was more than enough for us to share and have a little leftover to take with us. Our friendly server brought us a plate of Bulgolgi fries first and the Kewpie mayo. Crispy seasoned fries topped with mozzarella cheese, scallions, and spicy mayo. You can order these as an appetizer as well. We were getting full on the fries, alone! Next on the list was a bowl of grilled Korean street corn topped with mozzarella cheese, red chili flakes, scallions, and Kewpie mayo. If you like Mexican street corn, you'll love Korean street corn just as much, if not more. We picked the Yangnyeom for our chicken and crispy fried potsticker sauce. Usually we would pick the ginger soy but this sauce is deliciously sticky and a little spicy. The chicken is always perfectly fried here. I do not want a soft fried wing! The crunch when you bite into these wings is perfect and they are decent sized drums and flats. The coleslaw is a standard mayonnaise based white slaw. It paired surprisingly well with the spicy sweet Korean flavors. You can not beat the portions for the price. $34 for 2 people to share! We usually can't get out the door of most places for under $80-$100 for a date night dinner! Again, tickled to see new dishes on the menu. Next time we are trying the MoPo corn dog and getting another sampler!

This place wasn't really my cup of tea even though everyone in my party did enjoy the chicken and the fried rice. The fried rice looked very fresh the chicken I did try, but it was extremely salty to me and if you've had Korean fried chicken before it is double fried so it is kind of crunchy and hard on the outside and moist on the inside, which is not my favorite. Parking is rough, it's street parking and it's very limited. There are a couple of small lots for parking not far away but the signs were not clear and I was visiting from out of town so I had to circle around for about 20 mins until a space opened while my family was inside placing the order. The good thing was the space that did become open was RIGHT in front of the building. lol Food 3/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Location 5/5 Parking 0/5

I absolutely love Bonchon. The fried chicken is super crispy and extremely flavorful. I've both eaten at the restaurant and ordered from Bonchon on DoorDash several times. The cocktails were also quite good. Parking downtown is a nightmare, but definitely worth it to eat here.

Bonchon is one of my go-to comfort food places in Greensboro. The food is always so good. My favorites are the chicken katsu and they have an incredible chicken fried rice. The restaurant is always clean, the service is always good and the of course the food is always consistent. It's also affordable too which always helps! It's a definite must-try if you haven't check it out yet.

I love Bonchon! Tonight was my third time visiting and every time has been delicious. We ordered two appetizers and an entree. I really liked the pork buns and the pot stickers. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. For my main I chose the chicken katsu because it was recommended. It was delicious and flavorful. The only thing I would have liked was more sauce for the rice. Otherwise I definitely would recommend it. The service was really great and we didn't have to wait at all for a table of two at 6 o'clock on a Friday night.

Bonchon is one of my favorite spots back home in Cali so when my family and I were going on a road trip I wanted to see if there were any locations nearby. I was happy to see they had many locations along our planned route! We ended up stopping in Greensboro for lunch, surprisingly they were really busy. I felt bad because they seemed severely understaffed for the amount of customers they had. We waited a little to be seated and the host ended up having to take our drink order because the two servers they had that day were overwhelmed. We ordered water for everyone but my sister and her husband got a virgin pina colada. When our waiter finally came to get our order he did let us know the pina colada might take a while because they didn't have a bartender working. At least he was apologetic for the long wait, which we understood because we could clearly see they were very busy with only two waiters working. I ordered the pork buns, seasoned fries, pickled radish and a side of spicy Mayo. My fiancé ordered the takoyaki. Everything was delicious! The wait was little long but it's understandable because we hit the lunch crowd. The pork in the pork buns wasn't as thick as I'm used to, the location near me has nice thick pieces. And the pickled radish didn't taste like it was pickled that long. Honestly it didn't have much taste but I enjoyed the crunch. My fiancé enjoyed his takoyaki and we shared the pork buns. Definitely suggest stopping by Bonchon and giving them a try if you're in the area and looking for some good Korean food! Try to beat the lunch or dinner crowds though if you don't want a long wait. Hopefully they can increase their staff for the busy times! Other than that we enjoyed our food and the staff was great doing what they could to keep up service!

    Rosy C.

At one point it was my goal to try everything on the Bonchon menu because that's how much I love it. The chicken NEVER misses. It's perfect fried and not too greasy. The flavor is amazing. You can't go wrong with any of the other mains or side dishes but you definitely want to go for the chicken. Service is good and the space can be loud during certain times of day but that's typical for downtown.

Has anyone tried the salmon avocado ball? Is it appetizer size or enough for an adult meal?

Thanks for asking! The Salmon Avocado Ball is mainly served as an appetizer for one to two guests, but can be treated as an entree if you add steamed rice or any side to the meal.

The server sat me right away as I was there just 30 minutes after their opening. By the time I was wrapping up my meal it was more crowded and I witnessed a lot of people come for pick-up. Seems very popular. The menu wasn't too expansive, but it had a bunch of Korean dishes that I would love to return and try. I was in the mood for soup so I ordered their spicy kimchi stew with pork. The food came quickly, again I was there fairly early. The stew was served with banchan (Korean side dishes) and rice. The banchan consisted of broccoli, bean sprouts, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, tofu skins, and marinated potatoes. They all have very different flavors and each of them go well as a side dish with the stew and rice. I prefer kimchi on the spicier side but again that is my personal preference. The kimchi stew came out sizzling and smelled wonderful. I tried all the side dishes while it cooled down a bit. Once I was able to dig in it was packed full of flavor didn't need anything added. I would say it was more mild than spicy but I have a higher spice tolerance than most. Overall I had a pleasant experience enjoyed the service and the food will return with husband and kids to try more of their menu. I hope everything is just as good as the stew was.
