All you can eat CHICKEN TACOS
    Mark T.

The food item I ordered in particular was the "All you can eat" tacos for 20 dollars. It's all you can eat for a reason. It was very mid food, not authentic whatsoever. Genuinely Taco Bell has better tacos compared to what I had. On top of that it looks like they are allergic to air conditioning because there was none that night. If you sit too close to the music you won't even be able to hear your own thoughts. I will say that besides the food and no ac, the vibe was pretty nice, there was lights and music and the waitress was good. Overall I'd rate this establishment a 3 out of 5. Even though the food was mid it's a great source of protein.

Visited Bandoleros Tacos & Tequila in Oakland Park on Saturday while watching the France vs. England World Cup third-place match. I expected the place to be packed, but it was surprisingly easy to get a table. The restaurant has a really cute atmosphere, and our waiter, Fabio, was outstanding, friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. I ordered the Oklahoma Onion Smash Burger. It was delicious at first, but toward the end it became a little too salty for my taste. Overall, we had a great experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!

Not bad had the trio tacos. There soft. A bit greasy but still good . You don't get chips and salsa here, unless you pay. Outside and inside seating.

Bandoleros Tacos opened in October 2024 as the Tatts & Tacos restaurant went out of business. The interior structure remained the same although the intimate black lighting and the hanging multi-colored floral arrangements throughout presents a fresh hip decor. It was a very quiet Thursday afternoon and came here for the first time to try the $5.00 Birria Taco Special with choice of short rib or chicken. The server Anna, had a playful personality and was not bashful alerting us that it was her first day on the job. Noticeable at times, although the owner and manager were providing assistance when needed. The tequila shots were also on special for $5.00, which the wife took full advantage of and ordered a few. These were not top shelf but tasted fine in soda water with a lime wedge. I had a cold draft Yuengling beer to consume before the taco feast begins. Ordered four short rib tacos and two chicken tacos which were presented on a black slate plate with a side of hot sauce which leaned more toward a thick chipotle sauce. I drenched each taco with the sauce and was not expecting the texture of the oily shell. It was more flaky than hard but oddly stayed together without crumbling with each bite. Fresh ingredients can really make a difference and it was wonderfully exemplified in these street tacos. As I'm eating I noticed a banner hanging on the patio advertising $19.99 All You Can Eat Tacos on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. This special taco offering brought tears of joy to my eyes. The bathroom was clean with industrial style rough cement and blended mini tile flooring. The walls were dark blue with a multi-colored mural of three men sporting hipster douche mustaches. Not sure how this blends into the Bandoleros theme but it was definitely unique decor and provided a playful vibe. Will return in the near future on a Tuesday for the $19.99 taco deal and a smash burger. An easy strong 4.5 star rating.

Going to keep the review shirt and simple. Drinks are great I loved the margaritas! Fish Tacos are to die for and nachos are flavorful. Citrus Mango shrimp should be grilled instead of fried, it was okay but honestly everything else was great ! Can't wait to come try their happy hour!

Fantastic newish Mexican in the old Tacos and Tats space. Incredibly good tacos with incredibly good service. 5 star ambience: for downtown Oakland Park by the railroad tracks, they do a great job with exterior ambience. Sit outside if you can 5 star food: tacos if all varieties were very good: chicken veggie and beef. Opt for the all you can eat taco feast for $20 5 star service: the staffers are incredibly sweet and attentive. I think they filled my water glass unprompted 5 times

Went to Bandoleros Mexican Restaurant with friends for Friday's happy hour (5-7pm). The staff was definitely friendly and attentive, which I appreciated, but overall the food and drinks didn't really impress. I ordered two margaritas - watermelon and passion fruit - since they're BOGO during happy hour. Unfortunately, both tasted sweet with barely any hint of alcohol. It felt more like drinking syrup than a cocktail. For food, we started with the chips and salsa ($7). The chips were nice and crispy, but I wasn't a fan of the salsa, it had a strange sweetness to it that threw me off. For my main, I got the Buffalo Chicken Burrito, which sounded great on the menu with Spanish rice, refried beans, pico, crema, cotija cheese, and cilantro garlic sauce. The portion was solid and the burrito tasted decent, but there was barely any chicken in it - mostly rice, which was a bit disappointing. The bathroom was pretty dirty keeping in mind they had just opened when I arrived. It smelled pretty bad and it was pretty dirty and the restaurant was not busy. Overall, the vibe and service were good, but the flavors and drink quality just didn't hit the mark for me.

I went for the burger and it didn't disappoint. I had 4 of them. Mouth watering good. They have different burgers and patty count. I went with a single. It had garlic aolie a spicy mayo chips and cheese. I can't wait to go back it was so good. Great service to top it all off. I'll be back for sure.

Went to Bandoleros with my friend for some much-needed girl time, and we had such a great experience! As soon as we arrived, we saw a sign for $3 margaritas--yes, please! We ordered a few and they did not disappoint. We also tried the salsa and chips, ribbed corn, and chicharrones. We originally planned to get the birria tacos, but the apps and drinks filled us up! The vibe of the place is super cute and festive, with colorful flowers hanging from the ceiling that add such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. For dessert, we had the guava cheesecake--our waiter Nikola's recommendation--and it was delicious. Speaking of Nikola, the service was one of the best I've had in a long time. He was knowledgeable, kind, and had a fantastic personality. We felt so taken care of. Great food, great vibes, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was amazing and it was nice that it was an outdoor/indoor seating. Got there pretty early, so it wasn't busy, everything came out very fast and fresh! The corn rib appetizer really did steal the show for me, I was so close to ordering more. The only thing I'll say about the California burrito is that I feel like they compensate with an insane amount of french fries in the burrito for the little bit of steak that they put in there. If I'm paying $4 extra for steak, I would've expected a little more.

Fair customer service should be top priority at all times. Unfortunately this experience was not that and chances of me going back are probably slim. I should mention that this restaurant is located where Tatts and Tacos used to be. Same setup but the decor was more festive. We were super excited to try out this place after all the wonderful reviews on social media. We decided to try during their Cinco De Mayo event. We thankfully rsvped through their website so the wait was expected. We got there and it was so unorganized checking in and it was unclear who was next or what was happening. I noticed people looking out for tables and asking to be seated so I did the same. The table was wiped down quickly and waiting game began. The drinks came quickly but everything after that was a nightmare. Grace was given because it's always important to give Grace especially with it being a holiday celebration. Once the crowd died down I expected service to pick up but that wasn't the case. After two hours of waiting for the food and our server being MIA I flagged down the boss and asked to close out our tab so that we can leave. The drinks were okay. I had the mango margarita and the strawberry margarita. I wanted tajin on the rim and was told they weren't doing that. When I pointed out another table had it on their rims, they gave in. My husband got the classic margaritas which he said was okay but he questioned whether the first drink was even a classic margarita. The only thing we got to try was the chips and traditional salsa and it was good. My kids definitely enjoyed the fresh chips and I did too. What truly made me say that I wouldn't be returning was witness a "VIP" table get better customer service. Their food came out quickly and their sever was constantly checking in on them. As a paying customer myself this was very off putting. We unfortunately weren't the only tables to leave after two hours of no food. Overall, I hope that they come up with a better system to ensure that customers are treated fairly and get a chance to try their food.

Visited here for the first time with a bunch of friends and gathered in the patio. The $5 chicken tacos were so flavorful. Had a few shots of tequila to loosen me up. The manager checked on our table a few times throughout the meal. This restaurant is only eight months old and has an interesting concept.

Service by the one waitress that I saw was excellent! She was friendly & attentive. The restaurant itself was decorated super cute! As for the food-Not the best Mexican food I've had & definitely not worth my 30 minute drive! What Mexican restaurant doesn't have frozen drinks? Aren't frozen margaritas a staple? Nope! Not here! The drink I had was the coco loco & it was ok, but I really wanted a piña colada. I had 3 chicken tacos, which were seasoned well, just really small flour tortillas for the amount of food they put in it. The guacamole needed salt & the salsa tasted like ketchup. If u live in the neighborhood, it might be worth it, if there's no other Mexican restaurant around, but it's not worth the drive otherwise.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I can spend hours here without even realizing it. Two of us ordered drinks right away and sat at the bar playing video games. The rest of our group was still deciding what they wanted, which we understood fell under the one drink minimum per person rule. One friend sat with us at the bar while we had our drinks and was told by the bartender that she couldn't sit there without purchasing a drink, so she moved. She then stood near our other friends, who were playing an arcade game, and they were told they could not play unless they each bought a drink. At this point, they stood behind us at the bar to look over the menu and decide what they wanted, but that didn't seem to matter. The bartender repeatedly returned and escalated the situation instead of allowing any reasonable time to order, stating they could get water if they wanted and that it did not have to be alcoholic. After only a couple of minutes, the same bartender came out from behind the bar again and said in a rude, condescending tone that they "don't understand... if they don't buy a drink, then they can't even be in the building." Our friends explained that we had already purchased drinks and were simply deciding what we wanted, but at that point, they were turned off by his behavior and no longer wanted anything--and frankly, neither did we. We cashed out our tab, finished our drinks, and left. We were already paying customers and would have ordered more drinks, but the handling of the situation made that impossible. Instead, the business lost not only our additional sales, but also several friends who were planning to join us and spend money. We are local to the area and not teenagers causing a disturbance, which is what the situation felt like when our friends were told to leave for no clear reason. I understand house rules like a one-drink minimum, but there is a professional way to enforce them. This wasn't it. Not everyone can or wants to order immediately--whether due to preferences, pacing, or dietary restrictions--and the lack of flexibility or basic courtesy was disappointing. Instead of encouraging guests to stay and order more, the approach did the opposite. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the place, and I don't see myself returning. There are other spots in the area with a similar concept that offer a much more welcoming and customer-friendly experience, and I would recommend exploring those instead.

The pulled pork sandwich wasn't really served on a toasted Kaiser roll, it was on an untoasted plain hamburger bun. It came with fries, pickles, and coleslaw. The fries can use some work. I was completely sober because I don't drink, so I was fully aware of everything happening around us. The treatment we received was extremely unprofessional. At approximately 1:57 AM, we witnessed the bartender kissing a girl over the bar, and around 2:11 AM, they were still being very physical and all over each other while working. We also witnessed that same bartender taking sips from drinks using the straw method, which was concerning to see while drinks were being prepared and served. We were also told that every single person at the table had to order a drink or we would have to leave, even though the other five people in my party had already ordered. I don't drink alcohol, but I felt pressured into ordering something anyway because I didn't want to ruin my birthday celebration or my friends' experience. What made the situation even more disrespectful was when we simply asked for cups of ice water, and the bartender made a sly comment saying, "you guys are drunk." Asking for water should never result in a sarcastic or judgmental comment from a bartender. I especially found it inappropriate considering I was completely sober. The waiter's attitude was also rude and unwelcoming. For a place that automatically adds 22% gratuity, I would expect professional and respectful service. Instead, we felt pressured to spend money while receiving poor service and unnecessary comments from the staff. This was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration, but the way we were treated left a terrible impression. There are plenty of other speakeasies where customers can spend their money and actually feel welcomed and respected. After this experience, I would rather take my business somewhere else.
