    Japchae Noodles Box
    Krystyn P.

This review is for their delivery service only, which can be found under Uber Eats as "Just Add Soju". I ordered Jap Chae with Bulgogi, and a side of kimchi. The jap chae and bulgogi was very good .... But OMG, the kimchi! That was some of the most flavorful kimchi I had in a while and my mouth is still watering thinking about it. Definitely recommend ordering from here if you're needing some quick and easy food delivery in Arlington or DC.

Bulgogi Kimbap, Honey Garlic K-BBQ Wings. Korean Rice Cakes
    Eric Y.

Simple original tasting Korean food! Finally they have rescued DC. Welcoming owners and easy to order with a elegant modern inside ambiance. 떡볶이 Korean Rice Cakes, 양념치킨 Boneless Fried Chicken, and 김밥. They have wine and Sapporo Beer and will have 소주 (Soju) and Korean Beer shortly. We will be back often. Prices are good but most importantly food tastes great! 감사합니다! Life Savers

    Rainbow bibimbop
    Elaine S.

My first carryout order from here! I tried the rainbow bibimbop and it was very fresh and delicious. The bulgogi was warm and flavorful and the brown rice at the bottom of the dish and the fresh vegetables (red cabbage, kale, carrots) & steamed vegs (corn, zucchini) that decorated on top were fabulous. This place satisfies my Korean craving here in Brookland while at work and I am excited to come back and try their other dishes. Now I don't have to run to Arlington or Centreville Virginia for a weekday Korean craving at work!

Inside Spicy Pork Banh Mi - lots of pork
    Akande S.

I used uber eats so can't speak to service but flavor was a GO! I got the spicy pork banh mi which came loaded with pork and a nice balance of fresh toppings to offset the spice and YES! There was spice!! The bread was a bit hard on the outside (think french bread presentation without french bread flavor or chew) and i requested extra mayo which must've been missed in the notes. Still satisfying.

    Pork Belly Bossam Special Set
    Taj M.

I ordered takeaway and got the Special Pork Belly Bossam set (for two), which came with sides of rice, japchae, and kimchi banchan. The tray was neat and could have easily served as an immediate centerpiece the way that it was packaged. The lettuce was crisp, the pork was tender and good cuts of meat that weren't overly fatty. The japchae was light and a little sweet and savory--addictive. The kimchi had great flavor, and this was more than enough food for the two us. This was my first time having bossam where it was accompanied by lettuce instead of pickled cabbage leaves for wrapping, but the lettuce added a nice texture, and I just piled on kimchi from the banchan, along with the sauces, jalapeños and garlic, and it was delicious. We'll definitely get this again, and I'm planning to try the Traditional Bibimbap next. I'm so excited to find this nearby!

    Vegan Brownie
    Moni T.

I saw this place on Yelp's Instagram page and since I was working in the city decided to go here for lunch. I thought it was a place I can order my food and sit down to eat. I was wrong. Once you enter the building there's a kiosk with the bangbop sign. You place your order and wait for it to come out. There are two other establishments in the building as well. The food I order was good. I wished my brownie came in one of those plastic trays, it probably would've tasted fresher. Also, I didn't get the correct drink I ordered, instead of the Korean lemon-lime drink, they gave my American Sprite. I probably wouldn't come back to this establishment.

Korean Fire Chicken Pizza -- ITS HUGE
    Rafia R.

OMGGGG ASGDJFGHKLLJAJSJA I've ordered from here just once through Grubhub, got two things their Korean fire chicken pizza and their gyopo (chicken) bibimbap. I literally just only had maybe 1/3 of their pizza and I had to write this review right away!!! THE PIZZA IS SOOOO GOOD. It has Korean seasoned chicken with kimchi and cheese. The taste is so authentic and so flavorful. It is truly a fusion pizza. The size is huge (definitely two meals worth). And the price??? Just $13 for this pizza?? My dudes PLEASE CHECK THIS PLACE OUT FOR THE PIZZA!! I will report back when I've had the bibimbap but I have a high expectations! This is definitely a spot to check out.

Walked by storefront and decided Uyghur food sounded way better than Chipotle. PHYSICAL EXAM: Food - Two dishes sampled. The Chop Fried Noodles presented as noodles diced down to a fine, pastina-like consistency -- a preparation I had not previously encountered. Smaller than gnocchi bites. Crisp vegetables were well-integrated throughout, and the flavor profile was savory and deeply developed. Scooping more bites became borderline and compulsion. The Fried Lamb Shank was excellent. Properly fried with no excess gaminess, yet retaining full lamb character. The naan served beneath it functioned as an outstanding sponge for juice and flavor absorption, in addition to itself shining as a fragrant, comforting bread. The cuisine overall blends Middle Eastern and Chinese influences -- aromatics, warming spices, bold umami -- into something unique and hard to find outside of the few Uyghur restaurants that exist. Ambiance - Felt like a family-run establishment with a clear sense of identity -- comfortable, intentional, and built first for their own community. It was quiet during our visit at a weekday lunch hour, but the layout and menu size is conducive to large groups without issue. Easily missed storefront on a street most people are driving by to get in and out of the city. Service - Attentive. Hospitable. Friendly. ASSESSMENT: A highly functioning, underdiagnosed gem. Uyghur Eats delivers a cuisine that many diners don't have meaningful exposure to. Sampled dishes both possessed a balance of restaurant extravagance with homestyle feel. Both dishes were standouts. Broad menu requiring more frequent visits to truly taste it all. PLAN: 5 out of 5 highly recommend assessing Uyghur Eats for yourself. Follow up in 3 months - try other dishes at follow-up.

Everyone agreed that I should try the Red Curry, saying that it is perfect. I ordered chicken with mine. Someone ordered me a Mai Tai without my knowledge... and it was delicious. It's very easy to overdo curry -- but mine was perfect in all aspects. Subtle flavors with a hint of being "hot" (spicy)... and the chicken literally melts in your mouth. As curry dishes go, this was probably the best I've ever had, certainly the best I've had in a very long time. (As an airline pilot, I've spent time in Pakistan, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and most of Europe... and curry is a favorite food.) Service was attentive without being a cloying nuisance. Very nice people. Prices? Well, this is DC... and everything is expensive. Surprisingly, the cost of my meal was very reasonable. You have to try this place. I will... next time, it's the Suicide Curry. I like it hot.
