Gluten free (GF) folk... you already know this place is for us! Everything on the menu is 100% gluten free, and I love not having to think so hard when I go to eat somewhere. I found my noodle bowl to be fresh and delicious (I considered taking one order to go as well). The staff was also friendly, and service was quick. Minor inconvenience is the lack of parking - you may need to pay to park and/or park farther away, which is not atypical for Navy Yard, but also not super easy.

The staff were very helpful with providing recommendations. I can't say how helpful that in when making a decision within a restaurant you haven't been. The food was absolutely delicious. No crumbs left. There's several seating for different size parties. Would certainly shout that you should pay them a visit as you won't be disappointed. It was very cozy inside and I know anyone visiting would enjoy the ambiance.

I don't normally eat at Korean fast food places but I'm glad I tried this place. Everything was delicious, super fresh, fast; as close to authentic as possible. I will definitely go back.

Delicious food with one major issue. First the good. For a quick but flavorful meal with a Korean kick, this spot is a great option. It's set up in a manner that is characteristic of the Chipotle model whereby you pick your proteins, noodles, veggies, and sauces. If you'd rather go for tried and true menu items, they've got some great favorites to choose from; I went for the Seoul Train and it was excellent. The place is counter service so you can expect quick but impersonal service and cafeteria seating. The bad. It is unacceptable for a sit down restaurant to have all of their restrooms out of order. After I was done eating, I tossed my trash (the recycling side was blocked off), and turned to go to the bathroom where I saw a hand written sign that the bathrooms, all of them, were out of order. I hope that this was not a tactic employed by the staff to avoid cleaning restrooms, but I've seen that happen in other establishments... that along with the blocked off recycling seems odd.

Tried in between Washington Spirit game & Bruce Springsteen Concert. Plenty of seating, nice & clean area & restroom. Friendly staff with lots of options. My only complaint was that they had fried chicken on the menu but was told it was not available. Kind of threw me for a loop, as I already agreed to eat here with the wife-lol She enjoyed her choice, I shared some with her, and it was tasty, not too spicy, so it could be handled by most. Price is in line with the area, and I will try again in the future. Hopefully, fried chicken.

The customer service was excellent. The establishment was clean and there were booths for seating. The food was just medium to me. I got the japache noodle bowl with double chicken because the original scoop of chicken was only an about maybe 8 pieces. I tried all the toppings for the most part and tried it with two types of sauce and the spicy sauce. The bowl was fresh. The flavors all fell flat to me. The kimchi that was on my bowl was extremely salty to the point it was almost inedible. The chicken was cooked well so it remained moist. The sauces were bland and didn't really make me want to have more. The lychee lemonade was good and not overly sweet. If there was some tweaks to flavor profile I probably would have enjoyed it more.

The staff was super friendly and helped me with my first time order. The food came out really quick and I love the recommendation of the fireball. As soon as I got home, I ate my food and it was amazing. There's enough to basically make enough for two people or just have leftovers if it's just you eating. I definitely recommend this place and the fireball is spicy which I love. Definitely make a stop at this place and the chill vibe of the restaurant was pretty awesome.

I have seen this restaurant several times, but never ventured on until today. I'm so glad I did. It's very bright and open which was great. The staff were welcoming and patiently explained the concept (think a Korean version of the Mexican place with the logo) and choices, even giving me a sample. I got one of the standard dishes with noodles and it was really good. I will have to pay more attention to the pricing next time though, because I thought what I ordered was a little less than what I was charged. However, it was probably just me being overwhelmed with the newness and didn't look at the prices correctly. I will definitely be adding this into my meal rotation. Highly recommend you give them a try.

Great food only complaint was there was only one small table making it a to go place only. Will take that into consideration when wanting to order food. Had only salad mix with roasted chicken.

First time trying Seoul Spice and it was great! If you're looking for fast casual Korean food that's on the healthy side, this is a great choice. Pick a base, protein, veggies, toppings and sauces. The bulgogi beef and chicken were yummy and The kimchi was not too spicy. The staff were friendly, precise, yet still efficient and they definitely have a locked down process. There's a lot of seating and good lighting. I can't wait to return to support!

Plenty of seating We sat on the patio since it was a breezy evening. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable on the menu. I started with a Paloma, edamame & ahi tuna nachos. 5/5 for the Paloma & nachos but a 3 for edamame - a little soggy to be enjoyable. We ordered garlic noodles with chicken and Thai fried rice with steak. The steak was super dry and tough, almost like jerky. The rice itself was good so I would say maybe cook the steak med verse well done and the noodles were flavorful. We ended with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and fried cheesecake bites This is a good place to wind down or turn up before the night begins! I'll definitely be back :)

I ordered the chili noodles for my entree which I was disappointed to find out could only be made very spicy or no spice at all. I opted for no spice to be on the safe side. It tasted fine but the sauce was too rich and upset my stomach after a few bites. My friend ordered the bacon fried rice and said it was just ok. We got two non alcoholic lemonades for drinks. The upsetting part was that we split the bill and it was $75 each and then I added 20% which I always do. So it was $90 each for a very subpar experience. I didn't see the whole bill but now I'm concerned that they added 20% service charge and never mentioned that to us. I will never go back for the quality of the food and the shadiness of the staff. You need to let your guests know that you are adding a service charge. By the way, they don't answer their phones and you can't get a hold of them if you need to make a complaint. How convenient.

However, when we walked in and saw only a couple of tables occupied, I had a feeling it might not live up to its appearance. Unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be justified once we looked at the menu and tasted the food. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 1/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is modern, clean, and well maintained. The dining room is attractive and comfortable, and it feels much more upscale than your average Korean restaurant. Service - Service was adequate. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. The staff took our order, brought out the food, and checked on us occasionally. What We Ordered - -Galbi - At over $40, this was by far the most disappointing dish of the meal. I've had galbi at countless Korean restaurants, many of which charge under $30 while delivering significantly better flavor and quality. The seasoning was noticeably different from what I'm accustomed to, and not in a good way. For the price, it felt extremely underwhelming. -Pa Jeon - Just okay. It was a standard Korean pancake that didn't stand out in any particular way. -Tofu Stew - We ordered it mild, but it was surprisingly spicy and excessively salty. The saltiness overwhelmed most of the other flavors in the dish. -Korean Fried Chicken - Unfortunately, this suffered from the same issue. The chicken itself was decent, but it was far too salty, making it difficult to enjoy. Final Thoughts - The biggest issue for me was the value. Nearly every dish felt overpriced for the quality being served, and the excessive saltiness across multiple items made the meal even more disappointing. While the restaurant looks great and has a modern atmosphere, the food simply did not justify the prices. Considering how many excellent Korean restaurants I've been to over the years, this was one of the more disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

I visited on a Friday around 6:30 PM and sat at the bar to catch the end of happy hour (Mon-Sun 5-7 PM). The bar was empty at the time, but a few other people showed up later. The dining room had a handful of tables occupied. In short, easy to get a seat. Drinks were good. I like the Somaek ($6) which is a small beer and a shot of soju. Beer ($7) was beer. We got some beef and pork mandu (dumplings) that were pretty good. 6 pieces for $10 on HH. We got two entrees, the Ddukbokgi ($28) and Yukgaejang ($29), which came with four banchan. Ddukbokgi is chewy rice cakes, gochujang, onion, and bulgogi. We thought it was only ok -- we've had better, including at Mandu in the past. Yukgaejang was a new dish for me. The menu described it as a "spicy beef stew, brisket, noodles, shiitake, bean sprouts, and egg." I expected the brisket to be sliced and recognizably brisket, but it was pulled -- it looked and tasted more like pulled pork. The dish also didn't have any noodles in it. I didn't like it. The banchan was seaweed, bean sprouts, kimchi, and cucumbers. It was okay. Service at the bar was fine.

The host was super friendly and seated us right away. Our server, Wendy, was patient, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. For drinks, we ordered the Sparkling Rosé, Blck Pnk, and a beer. The Sparkling Rosé was phenomenal. The Blck Pnk was on the bitter side, which may be perfect if that's your preference, and I appreciated how thoughtfully crafted it was. The beer was ice cold and crisp. To start, we ordered the mandu and two orders of the chikin. For our mains, we had the pork rib & kimchi fried rice and the dolsot bibimbap. Everything was delicious. My only critique is that some of the dishes could have benefited from just a touch more salt to really make the flavors pop. The restaurant itself is small, quaint, and feels very homey. I loved the family-style setup and how easy it was to share dishes and move things around the table so everyone could try a little of everything. Overall, I would definitely recommend Anju to others and would happily return with a group of friends. For $45 per person, the all-you-can-eat experience feels like a really solid deal considering how many protein options and side dishes you get. They start you off with a variety of banchan (side dishes), including a salad with this super tasty dressing that had the perfect little spicy kick. For the BBQ, we kicked things off with the spicy bulgogi and butter garlic shrimp, while the others tried the pork belly (I don't eat pork). Later we ordered the steak, spicy brisket, and grilled squid, which were all delicious. The spicy brisket especially was a standout for me. The guys also ordered two rounds of fried dumplings that looked amazing, but since they contain pork, I had to sit those out. I'd love to see Chadol add a veggie dumpling option to the menu! As for the sides, the kimchi and cold glass noodles were both hits at our table, and of course we all added white rice. The "mashed potatoes" though? Definitely more like potato salad and unfortunately very bland. On the other hand, the cheese corn costs extra but is 1000% worth adding. For drinks, the guys enjoyed the Woody Old Fashioned while I had a mezcal margarita-style cocktail that was smoky and refreshing. We also ordered one of the chicken options but never received it and eventually just gave up on it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the ordering system. Most meats are ordered directly from a machine at your table, and the food comes out quickly on this conveyor belt-style setup which was honestly so fun. Drinks and side dishes are ordered through the servers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming. The restaurant is actually much larger inside than I expected, with a modern setup that works well for smaller groups. That said, I didn't really notice tables for larger parties, so I'm not sure how they accommodate groups bigger than 6 people. Service started off a little rough because our server wasn't very attentive, but after I called it out, he definitely stepped it up and things improved. Overall, Chadol was a really good experience and absolutely worth the price. The 1.5-hour seating limit makes sense too, both to keep things moving and give others a chance to enjoy the experience. I'd definitely go back!

We had a separate room and it came with two mics which was fun for us to duet or just share a song with a friend. The database is hard to navigate and a great deal of the songs don't come with lyrics so that was a bummer. Also they don't display the song when you're singing, sometimes it would be random figures on the screen so that was different.
