All time favorite Thai place in Rockland! Drunken noodles are the best! Very small inside, but nicely decorated. I usually order ahead and pick up since i live in the area! Got here at 7:40pm and got out food past 9.. The table that got seated after us got there food and dessert and paid they're check before we even got one plate. Even the table next to us was surprised and sympathized that we have been sitting there over an hour without getting our food. When we asked the owner how much longer we had to wait she ran into the kitchen and came out and gave us plates .. When the food finally came out we asked what happened.. We understand mistakes happen and a kitchen can get disorganized but she spent more time trying to justify the lack of service we were given then being apologetic of the amount of time we wasted waiting for food that had no reason to take that amount of time. Upset we chose this place for our special occasion and needless to say never coming back read more

I've been to Nyack so many times but for some reason never knew about this spot. It's tucked away a bit off the main strip so its easy to overlook, but it's worth a visit! The interior is warm reds and golds with beautiful Thai decorations and paintings. The service was wonderful and very attentive. I like that they have such an extensive vegetarian menu that includes appetizers and soups, not just entrees. We stopped by for a quick bite before heading to a show in town so we split the vegetarian curry puffs, the tom kha tofu and the tofu ma muang. The curry puffs were wonderfully flavored and crispy. The soup had a nice strong lemongrass taste, and there were lots of veggies. The ma muang was very good, and I liked that they didn't skimp us on the pineapple like some other places do. We also ordered riesling and it complimented all our courses very nicely. We left feeling perfectly satisfied and enjoyed our experience here. read more

Our first time dining at Thai House tonight, for our 40th anniversary. We were welcomed at the door, our waiter (who was filling in for a few weeks only) gave us helpful suggestions. After each course (appetizers, entrees, dessert) he came over to see how we liked everything. Wished us a happy anniversary as we were leaving. The Pad Thai with shrimp was excellent. Don't be fooled by their small, tight dining space. Upon walking in, you'll feel like you've stepped into someone's home- ornately decorated in true Thai fashion. We were welcomed with prompt, accommodating & friendly service. The menu is your traditional Thai restaurant selections- no surprises. Food is fresh with authentic flavors. *If you ask for spicy, be prepared because they surely won't be modest. Of course, the wine selections lack. They could really use some help in that arena, especially to enhance all the delectable flavors in their dishes, but this is a common flaw in Asian dining, hence why many restaurants will offer patrons to B.Y.O.B. At least their not offering any glasses over $7. The prices for food, wine & beer are quite modest. I'd definitely return when I want a mouth-pleasing meal. Been a customer of this establishment for many years and when in the mood for good tasty Thai food its worth the ride from Fort Lee to Nyack. Very cute place that is warm and kinda romantic with excellent service and wonderful food. Never have been disappointed no matter what our table orders.The owners/wait staff are very pleasant and can always direct newcomers to this cuisine. looks terrible from the outside (used to be an old town diner), and only slightly better on the inside (probably decorated in about 1981) but what a little gem this is! food is delicious. we were the first people in the restaurant around 7pm, but there ended up being a wait with all seats full an hour and a half later. one in our party of 6 has a wheat gluten allergy, so in addition to wheat and flour, even certain sauces cant be ingested. waitress (owner?) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and was voluntarily explanatory. i'm also a vegetarian, and there were too many options for me to choose from! (which rarely ever happens for the non-meat-eaters. very exciting!) thank goodness for yelp - never would have given this place a second glance without it! read more

I've come here before and i loved the food. Fresh and tasty; plus lots of vegetarian options.Waitress is very direct and efficient, so make sure you know what you want. I had the coconut curry but the tofu was very mushy, which means it's not at it's freshest. The reason for the three stars is after i ate here recently, i felt ill around dessert time. My heart raced and i felt nauseous..i had to walk to the bathroom to cool off. This also happened the previous time i came, so now i'm thinking it's not a coincidence. Maybe it's the water, or the tofu, or msg they claim to not put in the food, but i'm hesitant to go back which is a shame because i liked this place. read more

The food was wonderful here a few years ago, but I have been disappointed with it so many times, that my once favorite Thai restaurant is scratched off my list as a place to eat! I have ordered chicken dishes on many different occasions and the meat is not fresh. It is so awful that I have to send it back or not eat it. All their dishes including tofu dishes are so incredibly salty! I wish the restaurant would improve their chef as it used to be so nice and I love the location and atmosphere. My favorite restaurant of all time! The food is fresh, well-spiced (and adjustable according to your wants), and they have appetizers and entrees to satisfy anyone from the curious to the cautious. I've had almost everything on the menu and am impressed with it. The duck is crispy, the beef is tender, and the shrimp are fresh and plentiful. The only thing I've noticed is a rather dry chicken, so perhaps don't have that as a main dish. Thai iced tea (black tea and spices served with heavy cream) is amazing and refreshing, portions are a good size, and the service is excellent and devoted. Food comes out fast no matter how crowded it is, and the waitstaff has a keen eye for when you want the check or another side of rice. Recommend this to anyone. The food was so fresh and flavorful. By far the best meal I have had since moving to Nyack. The restaurant is small so seating is limited and people were waiting to get in at 730 on a Friday night. The service was stretched thin- took a while to get anyone's attention. The restaurant also has an odd smell to it.
