a plate of dumplings and a bowl of sauce
    Michelle D.

We haven't been here in years and thought we'd give it another try. Still underwhelming sushi. The rolls, while nicely presented, were just ok. My Bangkok Terrace roll was so loosely wrapped that it didn't stay together to even pick it up off the plate. Although it tasted fresh, it was just kind of tasteless and boring. My daughter said the same of her roll. The Garden Salad my daughter had was pretty good. But the Miso Soup was kind of blah and the Gyoza wasn't a stand out either. Although, the sauce with the gyoza was thicker than most places and it clung to the dumplings nicely. Maybe the other dishes here are much better. I've only had the sushi each time and haven't been impressed. The service was quick and friendly.

My buddy recommended this place, when I checked the Yelp reviews I didn't think it would be that great and so did the other Yelp reviewers that left their criticism were all spot on. Water down sugared Thai iced tea, the egg rolls were cold in the middle, the spring rolls were not made fresh. The coconut chicken soup was very delicious, the chicken satay was meh, the Penang curry was watered down and way too spicy after telling them to make it mild. Service was really good though, not sure I would ever come back as I am so picky on my Thai food.

    Pad Thai with beef!

This restaurant deserves a higher rating. The reviews seem quite polarizing--people either had a dissatisfying or wonderful experience. Fortunately, I left with a happy stomach; maybe the chef was having a great day or I just happened to order the right dish. I ordered Beef Pad Thai with a spring roll. The Pad Thai had a balanced flavor profile, not too sweet, sour, salty or fishy. They incorporated the perfect amount of nuts and sauce without making the dish too oily. The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned and well-cooked. Based on my previous experience with Thai restaurants in Cincinnati, I tend to stay away from ordering beef since most of the time I will receive over-cooked and under-seasoned cardboard-like bites. This dish alone is 5 stars and is the best Pad Thai I've tried in Cincinnati. The reason why I knocked off a star is because of the spring roll. It was average and nothing special. I would not order it again. As for the service, it was good. The waitress was pleasant, we were able to choose our seats outside and the food was brought to us in a timely manner. I definitely plan on visiting again and trying other items. I will update this review once I try at least a couple other items on the menu. If you are in the Blue Ash area order the Pad Thai, you won't regret it!

By far the best Thai food in the area. My friends at work and I come here once or twice a week for lunch. I've tried a good portion of the menu and everything has been cooked to perfection. Fresh herbs and Thai chilis are grown right outside the restaurant. Pad Thai, Kra Tiem, Spicy Basil... all excellent. Lunch prices are great as well.

Pad Thai was on point. California rolls were a tad small, but great. Service was fine, but it was a bit slow. I recommend!

We love their fried rice. It's delicious and a great portion size - we almost always have enough for lunch the next day.

You will be stuffed with good food after you leave. It's usually relatively empty so you are served fast.

Good food and fast. I ordered on Grubhub and picked it up in the restaurant. Pad Thai does not disappoint. Tasty and hot

I went here for my birthday in December, best sushi I've ever had. This puts every sushi I have…read moreever had in a lower class. The service was impeccable and they were so knowledgeable about every fish and all the prep into it. The ambiance was interesting, we had a girl begging for soy sauce and the chef just gave her salt. Was kinda funny to watch but made a little bit of tension. I think the chef handled it in a mature manner, the customer was clearly drunk or something and was not happy with their experience. Like I said this puts all other sushi in a lower classification. So much effort and thought into everything.

I went to the Thursday 5:00 p.m. seating, and I know I got lucky getting a reservation. I logged on…read morearound 7:00 that morning to book, and I was able to get one on my first try. Several people in my group said they'd tried multiple times without any luck. From what I've heard, Thursday at 5:00 is one of the easier reservations to get, because the Friday and Saturday 7:00 p.m. seatings disappear almost instantly. I've had sushi all over the country (although not all over the world), and this was hands down the best sushi I've ever had. The quality of the fish is incredible--they fly it in from Japan--and every course was beautifully presented. The pairings the chef came up with were amazing and really let the fish shine. The menu changes every day and every season, so you'll never have the exact same experience twice. One of my favorite surprises was the miso soup. The chef explained that the broth is made using the bones from the fish we were eating that evening, and it was honestly one of the best bowls of miso soup I've ever had. The only suggestion I'd make is to have a simple printed menu with the names of each course and maybe a few notes about the ingredients. The chef explains every course, but there are so many Japanese names and details that it's hard to remember everything by the time you leave. I would have loved something to take notes on or even just glance at while he was talking. The only other thing I noticed was that the ending felt just a little rushed. There are seatings at 5:00, 7:00, and 9:00, and by the end of our meal the next group was already waiting in the entryway. It wasn't a big deal, but it was noticeable. The experience is $115 per person, and the required 20% gratuity is paid when you make the reservation. You can also order alcoholic drinks during dinner. At the end, the chef offers an optional add-on (ours was either a $30 bowl or a $12 roll). I skipped it because it featured a type of fish that usually isn't my favorite, but after seeing what the chef did with everything else, I was honestly tempted to give it a try. Maybe next time. This was one of those meals that you keep thinking about long after it's over. Everything was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it's the best sushi I've ever had, and I'd love to come back every season to see how the menu changes.
