    Banana bites

This was the worst food I have ever eaten. Stale cold and the banana bites were made with old brown bananas. Pad see ew. Had no flavor whatsoever Wonton soup was disgusting and wilted.

Great neighborhood spot! Delicious food with a great kick. As someone who loves spicy food, I would order a 4 on their spice scale next time instead of the 5! We tried the vegetable spring rolls, the fresh rolls with shrimp, the Tom Kha soup, and the panang curry! Everything was great!

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I am obsessed with Thai food and for many years I have been coming here mostly on girl days spent with my mom and sister. But I have visited countless other times with other family, putting friends on and with my foodie husband. There isn't a dish that isn't good. The servers here have always been so sweet and awesome throughout the years. You can tell it's important that they show you a good experience. Best part this place is never packed so you never have to wait for a table. Many good means eaten here.

This is one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I love coming to, such a quiet, peaceful, delicious food!!! My go to's are always "Tom kha" soup with chicken as a protein, you can always choose your spice level, Pad thai (YUMMY) & All their curry's are the best!! Service is very nice and fast, it is a family owned restaurant and super homey vibes! Everyone is so sweet, specially the owners! This is my go to place! Come check it out for yourself, you WILL come back!

Sweet basil chicken that had maybe two ounces of chicken.

I used to love this place so much. Placed a takeout order tonight and was shocked that I paid $14 for maybe two ounces of chicken. Will not be ordering from here again.

Honestly so good!!! I don't know why I haven't tried them sooner they are so close by me! I got the chicken pad Thai and it's the best I've tried since moving here from Seattle! I have tired so many Thai places and have not like 1! And this was good! Wasn't too dry had flavor had bean sprouts and onions on top!! I got a mild spice level and was worried it wouldn't be spicy at all but it was perfect ! The curry was really good my boyfriend end up eating it because it was very very spicy we got a medium spice level but the one taste was good next time I will be a ordering a mild spice level!

We had the best dinner here Saturday night! This was our first time eating here and it was great! The food was amazing, fresh, flavorful, beautiful presentation. The service was courteous, friendly, attentive and speedy. The atmosphere was fun and great ambiance and decor. We really had a wonderful time and we could not have been more pleased with everything there. We will for sure be back to enjoy dinner again and sharing this place with family and friends. They are also social distancing, wearing masks and we wore our masks.

Food was delicious! The soup warmed the soul during this quarantine... I was most happy with the amount of chicken my Tom Kha soup had! (Doesn't look like much in the picture...but I was able to extend my soup throughout 3 meals!) I also appreciated that my food was handed over by a gloved & face mask wearing employee.

I tried the beef noodle soup which has soft tender beef, bouncy noodles, little mustard greens, bok choy and broth with a tiny kick. For appetizers has the popcorn chicken with real pieces of chicken and not just batter. I love the crispy basil pieces in it. Fish cakes was good too which is like a salty tasting mochi-like appetizer. Lu Wei was also good with marinated seaweed, boiled egg and braised tofu. Yummy! And of course I paired it with a Jasmine green milk tea with boba and also got a chocolate boba. They started to get busy to a cozy spot. Service was good. They should put some tables outside to accommodate more in dining seating. Overall delicious and would come back!

Most of the lower set tables were taken so the rez came in handy. Ample bar seating available however. Greeted right away by server and offered drink menus. Both the drinks were phenomenal. I originally wanted the Asahi but they were out of it so they gave me a Japanese Lager from Los Angeles (?), blanking on the name. The Caipirinia was the other drink which was made authentically as well. No complaints on the bartender. Food was 3 Bao Buns and a Chow Mein entree with grilled chicken added on top. This was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. The Bao Buns were extremely soft and light on the breading. If you get them from Din Tai Fung they tend to be dough heavy. These were NOT like that. Chicken and Eggplant buns were tasty and had a light kick to them. Noodles were probably the weakest items, I prefer the rice/flat noodles, but these were normal chow mein noodles. But I had to split the dish with my dining companion who enjoyed the noodles quite a bit. I'd go with Udon or Flat Noodles next time and ask them to add chili flakes. No room for dessert but it sounded delicious, something with bananas. Mhmmm!

There were still about 4 groups still in the restaurant, but was mainly open. I could see this place getting busy during the weekends though, so recommend a res if you're here during peak hours. We started with cold sake and a couple of cocktails. Super cute and yummy drinks, creative and complimented the overall theme. The Asahi beer was huge and came with an ice cold glass, perfect! We got the orange chicken and drunken noodles with added chicken breast. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that the orange chicken came with rice, and was not overly breaded. The drunken noodles were pretty salty but overall good. These two entrees were enough for two people to take a little bit of leftovers home. Recommend for a nice date night or if looking for some Asian fusion. We'll be back!

We decided on sweet sour chicken and chicken lo mein. Service was quick and the amount of food was generous. The sweet sour chicken was made very well. The batter was light, airy and not at all greasy. The lo mein was greasy and still tasty. I would have preferred it to be drier. The chef used cabbage as the vegetable. I would have preferred an assortment of veggies, but that's just personal. 3 for the lo mein and 4 for the sweet sour chicken. I would actually give this place 3.5 stars. We were seated and it actually took longer than I expected to get a drink order. No diet beverages due to a broken dispenser. I saw that they had a small Indian beer selection, so I ordered an Old Monk which was displayed at the bar and in the menu. "Sorry, we don't have a liquor license". OK. I'll have water which was on the table in covered carafes but was warm since any ice had long ago melted. They have a strange menu of Chinese and Indian food. Not a big selection of either, but it allowed me to select Indian and my wife to choose Chinese. I asked about the portion size of the Chicken 65 and was told it was a starter sized portion. My wife wanted Sweet and Sour but not chicken or shrimp, she wanted tofu. The kitchen agreed to make it but told us up front that they weren't sure how it would be (found that odd). We also ordered Lo Mein since we assumed the Chicken 65 would be smaller. With all these troubles, the food came and it was very good. The Chicken 65 was a very large starter. I thought it was very good with the exception of finding some cartilage chunks in the meat. The sweet-and-sour tofu was also very good. I am not sure why the kitchen did not have confidence in their abilities. Lo mein was just average. When it was time for the check, the waiter wanted to know if we wanted a box for the little bit of lo mein that was left and we said no so he inquired to whether or not we like the dish and offered to take it off the bill or make us something different. We told him that everything was fine. The food was fine and we were just ready to go. All in all, I don't think we would return here due to the lack of selection on the menu. It was kind of limited. The menu was also confusing since it didn't group things together very well.

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.
