I had high hopes because the reviews are so good. But I was not impressed at all with my meal. Either was my husband or daughter. Everything was just pretty "basic". It was a packed house at 2 pm on a Monday. But we managed to snag one table for 4 at the back shortly after we got in the door. Ambiance is very cozy, although the space is very tight. To get to the restroom, you have to walk through their kitchen/prep area, grab the key by the back door, and then walk outside til you see the bathroom door. Pretty strange setup. As for the flavors... The authentic pad Thai is extremely sweet! I couldn't eat half of it. It's THAT sweet. The red curry (with chicken) is good. Hubby actually clean up his bowl. I tried it and I love the distinct red curry flavor. Fried spring roll is ok. Typical flavor. The cream cheese rangoon though, is amazing. I love the strawberry dip that came with it. read more

Amazing food and generous portions. My dining companion and I ordered the miso soup and eggrolls and I was so impressed and delighted to find that both were amazing and fresh. It was a wonderful start to a delicious meal. The wait staff was friendly and respectful and the plates and cups were beautiful. As a main course, we both got Pad Thai and it was so gorgeous on the plate with vibrant colors of purple from the cabbage, orange from the carefully prepared carrots, and the soft white tone of the bean sprouts. It really was a 5 star meal. The only drawback is that it's a very small restaurant so I recommend visiting during off-hours or being prepared to wait. Either way, I can't wait to go back! read more

I came here for lunch with my friend and it was PACKED. Granted, they have limited seating. However, we were seated within 10 minutes. We started with the spring rolls for the appetizer and they were pretty good. They tasted very fresh. For my main course, I got the chicken pad kee mao. This dish is my deciding factor on how good a Thai place is. And I was definitely not disappointed. The flavors were authentic and the veggies were fresh. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the service is alright. The servers are very rushed because of the crowd. But it won't deter me from coming back in the future!! My man had #58 (Udon pad kee mao) medium spice at the server's recommendation - he loved it. I had Bangkok Tokyo fried rice and being a chicken I got it mild (instead of the recommended medium) then need to add 6-7 spoonfuls of chili sauce to bring it to a good temp - so tasty. Stopped here on the way to Dallas and saw they had good reviews! The waitresses were SUPER nice and would take your order and bring your food out to your car, even in the rain! This place confuses the crap out of me...because all of these amazing reviews. I'm just speechless. We have been here twice. The first time I got yellow curry and sushi. The sushi was TERRIBLE! The curry was ok. We decided to go one more time to see if it was any better. This time it was so bad! My sister got Pad Thai and I kid you not it smelled like dog food and the taste was absolutely disgusting. I got Orange Chicken and it tasted like it was soaked in apple cider vinegar. My sister and brother in law got two different sushi rolls and they were just as nasty! My husband got Panang curry and that is the only thing that saved the night with this place. The veggie tempura and wontons were ok. When asked how the food was and we told them politely there was no care from them at all. So here is what I can conclude about this place. Locals LOVE it...and I think it's because they haven't ever experienced REALLY good Thai food... unless those people have traveled or lived in other places. Always excellent food. Looks are deceiving. The Spring Rolls are fantastic. The Green Curry w chicken is extremely fresh. Panang Curry wonderful. As for the noodle dishes, Pad Kee Mao is my go to here. Beef is the protein. Basil Chicken is awesome - lots of flavor. So many things to try - I dont know where to start. Never judge a book by its cover. I was kind of hesitant to try this place because the outside like of looks like a run down shack. But once you're inside the decor is surprisingly pleasant. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Tiger Tear Roll and Pad Thai. Both were honestly pretty good. Not out of this world amazing, but still good enough that I would come back and probably order the exact same thing. The roll had fresh ingredients and was pretty decent sized. They didn't over stuff it with rice or skimp out on the fish. The only problem I had was my roll didn't stay together very well. The Pad Thai was good, just a little chewy.
