I wanted to surprise my wife with sushi since it's been probably 2 years since we had it and I googled and yelp'd best sushi in Amarillo/canyon and this place came up, you need to get there a little early, it was absolutely packed in there and it's a tiny restaurant but the the staff was awesome, it's family owned, and it's the best sushi we have ever had

Food is awesome! I recommend #60. It was very tasty. Service was on point and it was busy. This is a great date place. Alittle loud when full though.

cozy spot for some yummy Thai food, although the curry was a little on the sweeter side. Servers were very kind and quick, would recommend!

Talk about a restaurant that deserves 5 stars! Read the Yelp reviews and our party of 7 that soon turned into a party of 11 from Albuquerque had to try. First, if you don't put the address in your map app and you blink, you will pass it by. They are so welcoming and friendly! Talk about a small world, one of the wait staff recognized one of our friends from a restaurant in Albuquerque she worked ay. Now the food, sesame beef saute was phenomenal, Flavorful and enough to share. Thesesame chicken bowl was not too sweet and the sauce enhanced all the vegetables and chicken. The cashew chicken, just, OMG! Our wontons had ample filling and great crab flavor. I must admit, it came with 10 pieces share by four of us...... I had 4 pices....shhhhh..... Do not miss this place if you are in Amarillo @

Driving up to the restaurant is a surprise as it looks like a little place but whoa it was big on service and the food was delish. We had tom cha & yellow curry! The dishes were smoke and the flavor was amazing! We love thai food so this is saying a lot it was in my top three fur flavor. Little tight inside but we requested a corner spot - very family friendly too!

    Tiger's Tear

Stopped by while on a long road trip and the food was great. We ordered Pad Thai (Texas style), Chicken Pad Kee Mow, and the Tiger's Tear roll. Love love loved the roll and it was a pretty large roll as well. I get Pad Kee Mow at every Thai restaurant I go to and I appreciate that Bangkok Tokyo seems to put more veggies in than other places. The Pad Thai had a slightly weird smell to it, to us, but it tasted really yummy. We love how they cook their noodles! Would definitely stop there again if we were in the area. Our server was great. We told her we were just passing through and didn't have much time to spare and she mentioned she could rush our order for us. Even those not our waitress were so sweet to talk to!

Pad Thai - huge portion, addictive taste

Fabulous! Small Mom & Pop shop seats 30 and it was packed! Wall lined with recent Best of Amarillo awards. Super popular with locals & efficient wait staff knew most everyone - food.is.amazing/outstanding/ delicious. Meals were tasty, well prepared, presentation very good - overall a 5-star spot!!

Try to eat here when passing through Amarillo. Yelp said it was open but when arrived it looked closed down.

Food is amazing, consistent quality, good service, but not fast. They make it after the order. Servers and take-out very good.

What an incredible dinner at Little Laos!…read more Our party enjoyed our meal on their cute patio. Everything was very clean and felt cozy in the evening breeze. Our server was so sweet, 10/10 service! Starters: 1. Fried Quail - Crispy yet juicy. Very well seasoned 2. Laos Sausage - Fragrant lemongrass notes with a slight spicy kick. Perfect snap Entrees (medium spicy): 1. Beef Laab - Tender beef and tripe tossed in bright lime juice and bean sprouts 2. Pork Pad Kra Pao - Savory ground pork with a nice runny egg (additional charge) 3. Mixed Vegetables (mild) - Perfect texture and a beautiful wok hei aroma. A great addition to the spiciness from the other dishes 4. Chicken Panang - Creamy curry with a savory coconut flavor. Chicken did veer on the drier side Dessert: 1. Sticky Mango Rice - Cannot go wrong with warm, sweet sticky rice, mangoes, and cold vanilla ice cream. The best ending to a delicious, comforting meal. If you're making a trip through the iconic Route 66, make sure to swing by this amazing restaurant!

LAOTIAN SAUSAGE w STICKY RICE was the star of the show here. It was very flavorful and the side tomato sauce packed a punch! We also ordered SPICY PAPAYA SALAD, BEEF YUM SALAD, and SUMMER ROLLS. All dishes were expertly made. I personally loved how they used woon sen noodles in the summer rolls. This is such a unique touch.

As with tradition. Superstition. You gotta have Chinese New Years Eve dinner. And you gotta order…read morespecific foods to complete the ritual or else you're technically screwed for the next year. And here I am. Ubered out to Bangkok Restaurant in Amarillo in the sketchiest of all places in town, but damn ..is the food here AUTHENTIC! I've quite honestly haven't seen a Thai dine in menu so complete. In fact this is probably the first Thai restaurant having lived in Los Angeles all these years, that I've ever seen Frog-Lef Kra Pao or Pad Poo Karee (Crab Curry). And without further a do, I ordered 河粉 He Fen (Pad See Ew), to signify Peace and Longevity, I ordered Basil Frog Legs to signify Safety & Peace on return with possible fortunes on the way, I ordered catfish red curry and fish cakes to signify 年年有餘(魚)Nian Nian Yo Yu, Every year will be full of abundance, and I had the Tom Kha, and Sticky Rice Coconut Ice Cream + a Thai Ice Tea. 5 dishes in. Total signifying 五福 Five Fortunes of Good Luck. So enough about CNY, every dish I sampled here was 8.5/10. I did not dislike anything. This was almost like walking into my parents Thai Chinese Friends home as a kid and they cooked comfort food that didn't taste like commercialized Thai food. The fish filets for the cat fish were clean treated, boneless and paired well with the peas prik king similar sauce, the Kra Pao Holy Basil Frog Legs was very similar to Two Chilli Szechuan Stir Fried Frog Legs, and were too also very good. And the Padsee Ew although I liked it, it was very different, served and presented like Pad Thai with stripped cabbage and bean sprouts and even a very thin layer of egg....never seen it served like this before. And lastly the sticky rice. Just get it. A great way to finish the meal. Having come out here without my rig this first time around, I believe next time I'm just going to drive my full rig into their dirt lot. Cheers. ***Entire family including the White guy makes you feel at home**** Coming back for the Crab Curry next episode.
