Sesame ball with mung bean (Vietnamese Bánh Cam): fried glutinous rice, filled with mung beans, and covered in white sesame
    Tina N.

Thanks to Yelp I found this place! I have been driving by it a few times and didn't think much of it. It's a small shop with no frills. The sesame balls filled with mung bean are delicious and not overly sweet. The mini shrimp eggrolls are great as a snack but would be better to take home to eat with lettuce and herbs. Ate them all on the car ride heading home so make sure that you get enough to enjoy at home too. The bean curd egg roll was crispy and ate with soy sauce at home along with the lemongrass chili tofu. Not a place that you sit down and eat, but easy place to pick up to go for additional sides to eat at home. Cheaper than a restaurant but beats having the need to make it yourself at home. Also, the owner seemed very humble and nice. Let's be honest you don't make much money from selling tofu. Also, it's cash only so be prepared.

    Old, thin sliced fried tofu

I've been a regular customer here for many years. I'm absolutely disappointed with this place. I love their tofu here but with the size of tofu and the selection the worker picked for me will be the reason, I will no longer come support this family business. I waited for fresh batch, however, they selected the old, small, thin sliced fried tofus instead of the new ones for me. The person standing before me waited in line and got the new batch. This does not make sense. There were plenty fresh ones! The price remained the same, but the quality of the tofu is no longer the same! Basing on what I see and paid for were selected based on age and how much you buy. This occurred many times I've been here and realized they're not going to change even when I voiced it out to them.

    Chay banh tet

I stopped by last night after work to pickup some banh tet or sticky rice cake wrapped in banana leaves. Tried it this morning and it taste pretty good. Nice and soft, cooked all the way through. I got the vegetarian or chay version. The spices are perfect, not too salty. The mung beans was cooked and grounded instead of leaving the beans whole. Lots of flavor that leaves you craving for more. I might have to go back in a few weeks. So why only 4 stars? Because I also picked up a pack of Banh phu the ( husband and wife) that taste like plastic rubber. The jello like cake was crunchy to bite into. It's suppose to be semi-soft. Minus 1 star.

A big spread of freshly made viet food. So delicious!

Best tofu in town, soft, fresh, and authentic. I have to go there 4 times a week just for the tofu. Takes me back to the homelands.

The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

Out of those six orders, 5 were absolutely delicious and I will be reordering those five each time. The sixth was still really great, but not my thing. The service is very good here and they are super friendly. The only bad thing is how small the place is so if youre there during full house you will have to wait. Although it's small, I wouldn't want it to change if it affects quality. So this place is dang near perfect to me. Prices are great as well. I would highly recommend making a trip out to this place. I'll definitely be back.

You can tell they brew it and it doesn't come from a syrup. When I sat down, I was instantly greeted, and there were like four different people serving my table, I think that they all work as a team to make sure everything is covered. The service was just amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, the booths were , small and intimate and you feeling that you in place with privacy and yet part of the group ....kind of interesting how they've done that. But the food! The food was outstanding, first they gave me a complementary appetizer of Jasmine sticky rice with this eggplant chutney, that was very tasty, a teeny bit spicy, but really good depth with flavor. Then my beef Samosas arrived. There were four, wrapped in like a triangle rapper, smaller than the Indian version of the same, and the flavor was very tasty, and corn and small chopped potatoes, yum! The two chutneys that came with it one was a cool cucumber, and the other was this sweet and spicy plum sauce. They made samosas!!! They could be soft and cool, or they could be delicious and spicy, depending on chutney you had them with and you had a third option.... There was a bed of pickled radish and carrot that really sit off the samosas as well and we're just delicious on their own. I devoured the entire thing. Then get the entrée. I had drunken noodles and I added the shredded pork... It was devastatingly tasty!!! the noodles were obviously done it a wok that's been seasoned to perfection. The wide noodles picked up all that deliciousness from the wok and then combined with the pork... heaven ! They had large pieces of bell pepper and tomatoes. very fresh onions... Just deliciousness. I was too full this time to get dessert, but I'm definitely coming back and I will definitely try it next time
