Great food and a clean, prompt experience! We were in the mood for Asian food, and this place popped up nearby with great reviews. When I walked in, I was impressed to see a Michelin-recommended sign posted at the entrance, which definitely made me curious to try something they were recognized for. I tried the vegetarian chive and egg bun appetizer, which was light and delicious if you are a fan of chives. Our table also ordered the fried potsticker dumplings--gets good and a must-try. The noodles were so fresh, and I loved that you can actually customize and pick your noodle size. It was also really cool that you can watch them make the noodles right through the window! The restaurant was clean, and we were able to be seated right away. There was a steady flow of people to include take out but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. Service was attentive but at the end felt rushed with a server consistently walking up to our table looking for us to pay while we were still eating. Food quality is just not very good. The stir fried noodles were soggy and extremely bland. The broth in the beef soup was bland. The only star of the meal were the thick hand pulled noodles in the broth. Lovely swift service. This spot was just okay. Great portion of noodles but I feel like it's just way too much. There's not the best balance in the food I feel. The seafood in my soup was decent not enough flavor. My husband and I were pretty hungry this night but yet we didn't finish our food it just wasn't to die for. We also ordered the pan fried dumplings and I think they were better than the noodles we ordered. The ambience was pretty calm despite them having people in and out. Is it worth traveling out to Doraville for? - If you live within a 30 minute drive or you've never had hand-pulled noodles before, yeah, it's worth trying at least once. - If you live farther away or you live in Duluth where you've got options for this kind of thing, probably not. - If Midtown Atlanta is closer to you, I'd recommend checking out Xi'An Gourmet House. Not quite the same thing, but they do hand-pulled noodles pretty well there. On the noodle soup: - BBQ isn't the way to go: There's a difference between BBQ joints that do BBQ noodle soup and noodle joints that do BBQ noodle soup, and this is definitely the latter. The roast duck in the noodle soup was less crispy and more fatty than I would've hoped. - The other proteins (we tried tripe and the traditional beef noodle soup) were much better. Food Order the A22 Oil pouring spicy hand pulled noodles. I order this every time I go and it has never disappointed me. I'll bring new people here and let them try mines and they wished they had ordered it. It is a broth less noodle dish packed with crazy amounts of flavor. I add chili oil to it as well but it's not necessary. The noodles have great texture and they give good amount of protein. I recently tried the tasty potato shredded, pig ear in chili oil, steamed soup dumplings, and steamed pork buns. They were all good but the only thing worth mentioning out of them was how huge the steamed soup dumplings were. Although big, the skin was still thin. Service It's about average. They will offer suggestions if you'd like and are accommodating for large groups. Ambiance This is a no frills place. I do prefer the hand pulled noodles to the knife cut- they are much thicker and chewier. Buns were solid as were the chive pancakes. Food poisoning! The food was tasty, but it sent me to the hospital. After eating their Mongolian beef and their fried chive pancake, I began to feel ill as I walked to my car. Dizziness and Vomiting took over me. I went over to my car to check my heart rate and it was exceptionally high. I went back in and asked for help. I was rudely greeted my a youngish male Asian server who told me that he could not help and didn't want to be involved! Instead of helping, he went back to the register and talked to the others as they watched me. I was able to get medical attention through my own means and they made sure to lock the door once the EMS arrived. The lack of humanity that this restaurant showed alone should have them shut down....and to top it off my results came back in and it was food poisoning....of course he didn't want to be involved. Hand-pulled noodles is where it's at! Stopped by for the first time this week and was incredibly satisfied with my meal. I had the beef soup with thin noodles and soup dumplings. I've been craving good soup dumplings and these did not disappoint. They were on the bigger side for a soup dumpling, but that did not stop me. The soup inside was flavorful and so were the dumplings. The noodle soup also had a good flavor. I enjoyed adding a little chili oil that was on the table for a slight kick. These noodles were amazing. When I ordered "thin" I was hoping I could still enjoy the hand pulled texture and I did. They had that chewiness that only hand made noodles have. As an extra bonus, you can watch them making the noodles through a little window at the back of the restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. My friend had been raving about this spot for a while so a small group of us finally made a trip over! As a table of 5 adults with one stroller, we did have to wait about 20 minutes to get seated while a multitude of other parties get their tables before us. But as soon as we placed our orders, the food started flowing onto the table shortly after. The dishes we got included A4. Beef Tendon Hand Pulled Noodles Soup and A5. Ox Tail Hand Pulled Noodles Soup, 38. Steamed Soup Dumplings (6), 41. Shranghai Pan Fried Pork Bun (5), 45. Lamb W. Cumin Seed Chinese Hamburger (1), and 40. Fried Pot Sticker Dumplings (8). We all really liked the texture of the beef tendon but were surprised the broth was exactly the same for both soups. To experiment on the noodles, we got their knife cut, thin, and thick noodles. Definitely veer away from thick, try the thin, and you MUST get the knife cut since those resembled most hand pulled noodles that I think of. All the dumplings were good especially with the crispy layer that connected them as one big piece. Lamb burger was salty and slightly spicy. The xiao long bao could have been juicier but still tasty nonetheless. Overall, we had a great time. The service was quick, quality was good, and prices were very fair. For all that food to feed 5 adults, it came out to just over $100 including tip. That's a steal I'm willing to come back for again and again! read more

I enjoyed my experience. I actually only really came for ramen, and I saw a bunch of other things that I want to try. That's not ramen. The ramen I got was pretty good. But they have a really vast menu that you need to dig into. It's going to take more than one trip. When you get there, there's free parking. It's in a shopping center so you don't have to worry about paying. It's off you for the highest but there's a lot of other things around there as well so just keep that in mind. You walk in in the shop. Actually has a lot of space in places to sit. It's pretty big on the inside. You come there and get in and you see the bar area and that's where I saw the person who greeted me. Pretty friendly overall. It feels like the cook came out and took our order instead of the weight staff which was interesting. But it doesn't matter who takes the order as long as it comes out LOL. Pork rib Hand pulled - So this was just pork rib ramen. And I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had known it. It was actually legit bones of ribs. It wasn't like it was broken up or chopped up, like you ate the rib that was sitting in the soup. Maybe I didn't read the instructions or the directions but that's not what I anticipated when I thought of rib ramen LOL. But now I know! If you get this, you'll have to go ahead and grab the rib and ether of the bone. Shanghai garlic vegetable - The vegetables were okay. It was pretty much what it seemed like to be predominantly onion and bok choy though. They had a little garlic sauce, but it wasn't really super garlicy at all. I got it so I can get something green, but this did not really do anything for me. Of course I ate it, I put the remaining bok choy in my soup for more vegetables. Green beans - I don't know what they put in these green beans but it felt like it was a little bit of unicorn tears. These green beans were 15 out of 10! They were perfectly seasoned. Had a lot of spice and a lot of flavor. I would go just for a full plate of the green beans and I would call it a day. Those joints were fire! So overall this was a pretty good experience, I would go back but I probably wouldn't get the same thing I got before. I probably would get something else. Like it look like they had really good fried rice from walking past the tables when I was leaving. My noodle and soup was okay, but beef, tripe and tendon was hard to chew, I'm very disappointed. We began with a Fried Chive Pancake, then we ordered one each of item B7 and B8 - stir fried hand pulled noodles with all seafood items in the B7 and the B8 included meat and egg, as well. Such a great little noodle place in doraville! Their baos (pan fried and soup) are all very delicious, and the fried bottoms of the pan fried buns are very crispy. I got the roast pork noodles, and the roast pork was well made on a bed of very chewy noodles. The noodles came out super fast, and the baos took a while just because they were freshly steamed/fried when we ordered. Wasn't too busy when we went on a Saturday at 5, however this was when there was snow on the ground. We ordered the hand pulled beef noodle soup, Chinese style Spicy chicken, Soup Dumplings and Cumin Burger. My least favorite was what they were known for, their beed noodles. I thought the noodles were good, but wasn't a fan of the broth or meat. The soup dumplings were big and juicy. The spicy chicken is the best value on the menu. It a whole plate pile of chicken. We could have just ordered this and been just fine and been full. For 14 bucks it's a great value. The flavor really wasn't spicy and didn't have much flavor overall. The cumin lamb burger was my favorite, it has one strong cumin taste, but I love that. The service was quick and they even boxes our food for us. I thought they should have had more beverage products then just cole branded canned offering. That's fine if they don't serve alcohol, but at least have some better options. Though the ambience was okay, probably somewhere to go with friends or just a casual night out. Not really a date nite spot. Bottom line, likely wouldn't come back.
