The burgers and fries here were so good! The beer was also pretty good. Service was decent. The waitstaff was really good about my change in order after another burger caught my eye. It was a fun and interesting atmosphere. We were happy with our dinner choice!

We stopped in after dinner last night (a Sunday night of a holiday weekend). They closed at 9 so we were able to enjoy an hour of the beautiful weather and sit out front with our drinks. I enjoyed a stout first and then my boyfriend brought me a taste of the cider and that was it! I had a cider next (it was a Cider Donut cider from Down East and it was delicious! My boyfriend said it was like "fall in a glass". The brewery is located in a gorgeous old bank building, which is why we went. I love architecture and old buildings so I really enjoyed being there with some great drinks! We went back today too!

This place is careless. The inside smells like sulfur, it reeks so bad I'm not sure how people work in there. Our food (2 sandwiches and fries) took 35 minutes (no one is here). I received my food and they carelessly threw my chicken sandwich together. I got a "Rosie". The avocado in my sandwich was unsliced and not ripe. Hard as a rock. The chicken was over cooked. The "Tatum" was good, bacon was cold and clearly from hours earlier. The fries were good. Service was poor, I told them about the rock hard avocado in my sandwich and no one paid any mind. Must happen a lot. Overall, gross.

Pretty cool concept! Bank turned into a brewery & the name obviously ties in so well. I had the only sour on the menu and gosh dang it's probably one of my favorites of all time. It was so refreshing. We ordered fries and those were great to snack on. The service was quick and the staff was really nice too.

Pretty nice place to stop for a cold beer while visiting Mystic. I didn't try a beer, but my partner did and enjoyed it very much. We sat outside people watching as tourists and shoppers strolled by, there was a musician playing outside to entertain. I'm sure he'll make a point to stop there again on our next visit.

Service was great we were greeted right away and had our order taken quickly, but there wasn't many people there when we arrived. There was only one person working at the bar area where you order food and drinks. I could only see one other person working in the back for the food, and maybe one runner. Food was just OK, nothing to talk about or say I had to go back for. I feel like they could do more with ambience. It is very large room, but they had some fun games for everyone to play and lots to look at. The beer was OK, but not my style. This place was very different and unique to try, but I won't be rushing back.

This was such a unique and fun brewery. I love the architecture of the old bank. It's such a beautiful building and has a large interior. There's plenty of seating inside with TVs to watch the game. The original vault is still there and open, so you can take a peak inside. You have to order at the bar, then you can sit anywhere. We decided to sit outside since there was live music and it was such a beautiful day. The staff was super nice and let us try some drinks before deciding on what to order. My husband ordered a flight and I ordered the Hard Kombucha (Mango Daydream) and I loved it! It was my first time having Kombucha and I'd definitely recommend trying it. We didn't order any food because we ate right before going but I wish I was hungry because the food looked and smelled so good. I'd definitely visit again and recommend to anyone!

We came here on vacation and since I am pregnant I can't drink. They didn't have many options that were non alcoholic so I stuck with my water. The place is really cute and has a nice outside area. It is in an old bank. My husband ordered the B&B Stache, which is a New England IPA. It has notes of hoppiness and is citrus flavor. He really enjoyed it. The place has fun games to play such as board games and marbles as well as a small menu. Super fun place! I recommend

Such a nice place in what used to be a bank! It's owned by a Marine and the drinks are named after some of his friends . I got the joker beer and it was light and refreshing. They have a gift shop inside and I also got a nice cup to go. Really enjoyed my time there. I would recommend a stop here if you're around .

Great local place for a beer and games or live music. The burgers are delicious, though my personal favorite was the pretzel bites with beer cheese! Typical pricing for a brewery but their food is above average. The servers are friendly and there is ample seating. Would recommend if you are in the area looking for a more casual place to stop!

Bank & Bridge is a unique structure (an old bank) in a fantastic location. Located right in downtown Mystic near all of the action, this spot is hard to pass up. They were quite busy on a spontaneously warm December day so I'd imagine that would be the case for the majority of the year. The beer was fresh and tasty and although the food is a bit greasy, it's yummy nonetheless. I don't love when the bathrooms at a restaurant are icky because it says something about the cleanliness of the establishment as a whole. If that weren't the case, this would easily be 5 stars.

Such a unique brewery experience located in the quaint downtown village of Mystic! This repurposed, legendary bank boasts an assortment of food choices as well as a variety of beer, wine, and mixed drinks sure to please your palate. It took less time ordering our drinks and receiving them than it would to cash a check at the bank!

    Truffle Fries
    Young K.

I come her every Monday for Trivia at 6:30, and the rewards are pretty great. The questions are kind of tricky though. Most of the time, I get the truffle fries as a snack, because they are SO GOOD. It's nice to have after dinner and with a glass of beer. The diet coke was not good at all. It tasted more like toothpaste with rootbeer. There is only street parking in downtown Mystic, but if you drive a little, you can find a parking spot anywhere. You'll just have to walk a little bit. However, you should be careful parking in private parking spots.

After enrolling in a class entitled "Beers of the World" in college, Simoncini became very interested in craft beer and soon began homebrewing. It was during this time that he gained the nickname "Beer'd". Eventually with his now-wife Putnam, Simoncini set out to open his own brewery. The couple set up shop at the Velvet Mill in Stonington. The historic building was originally home to the American Velvet Company, which operated from 1892 to 1996. Today it is a multipurpose building that is home to a thriving community of small businesses and artist studios. When Beer'd originally opened in the mill, they had just a 100-barrel system. The brewery quickly became notable for their small-batch high quality IPAs. In 2018, Beer'd opened a secondary facility at the Airport Business Park in Groton. This new 12,000-sq-ft space expanded their production capacity to 6,000 barrels. An adjoining 60-seat taproom (dubbed "Beer'd Brewing @ The Silo") opened at the Groton facility in January 2020. To differentiate the two taprooms, the original location in Stonington is now often referred to as "Beer'd Brewing @ The Mill". I first visited Beer'd in 2013 (when they were just one of a small handful of breweries in Connecticut), and I've been a huge fan of their beer ever since. They are one of my favorite Connecticut breweries and I have visited them multiple times; they were even a stop on my brewery bus tour bachelor party. I also must point out that Aaron and Precious are lovely people. I recently stopped there while I was in the area. It had been a while since my last visit and there were a few changes. In addition to the original taproom, Beer'd has set up an indoor beer garden in the center of the Velvet Mill. Patrons can enjoy some beer paired with food from one of the mill's many food vendors. Beer'd also set up a designated "Dog Den" for patrons to enjoy a beer if they have furry friends. During this visit, I enjoyed a taster flight that featured "8 Days A Week" (Pale Ale), "Stunner For the Win" (New England IPA), "An Unexpected Upgrade" (Double IPA), and "Heavy Weight-Of-Sound" (Triple IPA). They were all excellent! I plan to continue enjoying Beer'd beers for years to come!

Although they are one of my favorite Connecticut breweries and I've visited their Mill Taproom multiple times, this was my first visit to the Silo Taproom. Unlike the OG taproom which is more family-friendly, the Silo Taproom is intended to be exclusively for the 21+ crowd. It's a pretty nice space too. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the draught menu. Throughout my visit, I enjoyed short pours of "You Like 'A Da Juice" (New England IPA), "Matter of Time" (New England IPA), "Roulette" (Russian Imperial Stout), and "Heavy Weight-Of-Sound" (Triple IPA). They were all excellent, but the last one was my favorite! I'm honestly not sure which taproom I prefer. If you've got little ones or furry friends with you, then head to the Mill. If you prefer a more adult exclusive experience, then head to the Silo. Either way, I plan on enjoying Beer'd beers for years to come!

They should advertise it more, especially as a place for folks who just want to hang out with friends. ! I have been to their summer event with food trucks and games and tatoo artists, and it was a really fun event. Can't wait for another one! Also try their location in Stonington at the Velvet Mill. They have lots of great events there, and it can get lively because of the other businesses inside (including food.)

Deep sighs from lady at counter clearly irritated at our question if there were any sandwiches or handhelds as she flung her hand up at the screen. Apologized and said we'd seen them listed on the website. Not a great welcome. Ordered at the counter and handed a buzzer. We all ordered ourselves. Collectively - two pizzas, three orders of wings, and a Ceasar salad. We also went to the bar to get drinks. Then we got our own paper plates, napkins, and plasticware. Buzzer went off for one of us about ten minutes later. Pizza. Then 5 minutes later, another's. Wings. Not one person's whole order, but piecemeal. We made SIX separate trips from the front where we were sitting all the way to the back. So it was grab a bite of pizza - BUZZZZZZ - go get salad - a few mouthfuls - BUZZZZZZ - one order of wings - this dance went on for a half hour! Who eats like that? Salad was warm, drowned in anchovy forward dressing and limp lettuce. Asked for extra crispy wings. Flaccid. Super bummed. We had to go back to place our order, get our own tableware, set the table, and then pick up the food... If we had known all this I don't know that we would each have left a 20% tip after ordering. Received more care and service at a DD drive through. Pizza itself was great - just cold by the time we got all our food and were able to sit still and eat.
