What a fun vibe - casual with class. The vineyard view is amazing- caught it at sunset (one of my favorite winery photos this year) included below. Ordered a bottle of rosé for the table and had a relaxed experience. Love their vinyl collection- had a good time sorting thru it and selecting music for the record player that is hooked up to speakers for everyone to enjoy. I went with princes - purple rain. Definitely a spot I'll return to, want to try their tasting next time. Service was attentive and friendly.

What a great spot! We came in as a walk in later in the day and got a bottle of rose to share for the table. The staff were personable, inviting, and friendly. The property is beautiful and the inside decor was cute. Bonus points they have a record player and you can put on music to your liking, all types of genres, prince to nwa! We will definitely be back for a traditional tasting!

beautiful setting and awesome host made for a fantastic tasting experience. Great wines certainly didn't hurt. Definitely recommend this winery

A hip tasting room in downtown Healdsburg that stays open late. I've been a few times for tastings - enjoy their Pinot and Rosé and Mordecai red blend (an easy, everyday wine), and their moderate price points. Also love their interior design: green wall, neon sign, hand chair... Most recently was on the hunt for a magnum bottle for a gift (prior to my other magnum findings). Many tasting rooms in town do not sell magnums, but Banshee does. Score! Gift secured...and gift appreciated! If you're visiting Healdsburg for wine tasting and want to stay in downtown, Banshee is a great stop! Cheers!

Had a lovely tasting experience here on New Year's Eve. This is a very hip tasting room - neon signs, couch and bench seating, high ceilings, and popular music playing on the record player. You can even choose the next record, like a jukebox. Though they were busy, they made a room for us at their large wood center table. We worked our way through most of the tasting menu, and really enjoyed each of the wines we got. That included a bubbly, a Pinot Noir, and two really delicious Chardonnays. I may be forgetting one or two... You know how it is after wine tasting. I got a bottle to go. Service was great. They were knowledgeable about the wines and checked in on us often. They provided sparkling water for our designated drivers, and also snapped a family photo for us.

Another little gem in the heart of wine country. Finishing off on our last tasting, we ended up at this cool tasting room. Right in the heart of Healdsburg and another one of our members perks. Compared to the others wineries we visited earlier, this was a tasting room instead of a winery. Location was great, right in the heart of the town where there plenty of other tasting rooms, boutique shops, restaurants, and so on. There's plenty to do as well. But this place is quite cool. The tasting room isn't big but cozy enough. Cool vintage modern vibe that's oh so chic. They had tables set up outside for tasting. We had Michael who took very good care of us. Knowledgeable in his skills and very cool and fun. Great service and we had such an amazing time.

Part of the Foley wine club... I am impressed by the ambience and display of this quaint little wine tasting shop in Healdsburg. We warmed up to the rose-90 points, enjoyed the first Chardonnay from morning, light, and ended with a superb Cabernet Sauvignon. Check out our pics...took home the Rose! Amazing wine, ambiance and service. We had Lauren helping us and she was amazing. Brought us an excellent selection of wine, was great with her descriptions and knowledge of the wines, and Banshee has such a nice ambiance with good music, we'll definitely be back. We also brought our three week old baby and Lauren was lovely and extremely accommodating. 10/10 recommend

I have been a wine club member at Banshee for a couple of years - love their $20 Sauvignon Blanc, it's my go to wine when I am alone and want something really easy, it's such a well priced wine. Also enjoyed several of their Pinots through their wine club. Always a treat when I get to visit their Healdsburg tasting room.

We were actually on our way to another tasting room and saw this place on the way. We were made to feel so welcome and the vibe was so gun, we had such a blast. Our tasting guide was Mike, and we all decided we would be happy to just to hear him read the phonebook. The wine was outstanding and the tarts were to die for. We laughed so much and are so glad we detoured to this gem!

Nice atmosphere but the wines were not to my taste, plus the tasting fee is a little on the high side based on the wines we had.

Maybe I shouldn't even rate this place, but I sat there for over 20 minutes, and no one acknowledged me, so I left.

Cooked to medium rare perfection and delicious chimichurri. The steak was properly seasoned and the chimichurri added a nice herby spice. The fries were cooked just right and were gone in seconds. My other favorite was the pear vinegrette salad with peanuts. It was fresh, slightly sweet and the peanuts gave little bit of salty texture. Great accompaniment with any dish. Service: Our service was excellent. The servers worked as a team and covered our needs well. Kept our water filled and gave us new utensils without even asking. The severs were all dressed chefs wear and looked very cool imo. Everyone has a neat and buttoned down appearance. They all had smiles which is a huge plus. Ambiance: The inside looked like were inside a barrel. The ceiling were rounded in a medium colored wood with dark metal curved beams. The room was dark like barrel room of a winery but still had plenty of light at the tables. It feels nice and cool on a hot day. Also the outdoor bar and seating looked inviting. The Koi's on the fountain were cool too.

We were only able to get a 5:15 pm reservation on a Saturday night, which was somewhat unusual because the outdoor patio and interior were only about half full. Maybe they allow for walk-ins so I suggest that if you want a later reservation like 7 pm that you try a walk-in instead. It was my husband's 67th birthday, which I indicated on the reservation, and they had a customized menu for him, birthday card, and welcome cocktail of champagne. The service was prompt and very friendly and we started with PEI mussels, served with Costeaux Sourdough Baguette (slightly charred), Poblano Peppers, Roasted Leeks, Heirloom Tomato Broth and Petite Fenne, which was hearty and really delicious ($24). The manager also provided complimentary homemade bread with a black sea salt that you could sprinkle on top, We brought a nice bottle of Robert Young cab and the corkage was $25, which is very reasonable. Husband got the prime Kobe New York steak loin ($63) and was disappointed that it was only half of a normal New York. It came with Brentwood Yellow Corn, Potato Croquette, Perigord Truffle Butter, Bone Marrow and Sauce Bordelaise. He ordered it rare and it was served appropriately. I ordered the bone in Duroc pork loin ($42) served with Yellow Wax Beans, Shishito, Bacon Jam, Parmesan Frico and Jimmy Nardelo Peperonata, which was very tasty. I should have indicated medium rare as it was a little more overcooked than I would like. The accompanying polenta cake and peppers were a delicious compliment. We decided not to have dessert, but they brought us a Snickers dessert for his birthday on the house. It came with Cocoa Tuille, Peanut Powder, Sea Salt and Burnt Caramel and was super yummy. I would definitely go back, highly recommend. The clientele in the restaurant were not super snobby and seemed like locals and regular people out for a good meal.

We were greeted with glasses of champagne, a special menu with our anniversary mentioned on the top, and an anniversary card. All of that was so special and unique which made us feel so welcome! We chose to do the "trust me" chef's dinner. It was a surprise for every dish. This was my first time trying bone marrow and now I am a huge fan. I will say the snickers style dessert was overwhelmingly sweet and I just couldn't finish it. My one problem with how they list it on the menu is "$20 per course". I didn't like thinking about how a somewhat skimpy salad equals out to $20. I think it sounds a bit better to say it's a $100 experience, which sounds like a better way to explain it. This was a fun experience and I enjoyed most of the items but I would not do this again. I feel some of the courses were a little lack luster and I would rather spend a bit more to do a different experience somewhere else.

Very easy to miss the gate even if following GPS. Don't be afraid to call if you can't find it. Just make sure you have an appointment first. On arrival, Caitlin met us. She only had started 2 weeks prior, but gave us a tour of the vineyard and a little history of the property. From there, we met with Karin, one of the owners, and tasted the Chardonnay. Wow. I rarely drink whites, but this was amazing. And it's built to age as well. Karin said it could age gracefully for 20+ years. We tasted the current release, and one that I think was 2 years older. The other owner, and Karin's husband, Justin, joined us and we then tasted the Tesserae Red Blend. They age the Tesserae wine in barrel and bottle for 7 years. Its 2023 and the current release is the 2015. This is absolutely unique and quite a risk considering potential wildfires. Again the tasting was the current release and another one 2 years older. I love these comparative tasting so you can taste how the wine develops over time. We talked more about their history and their process. They have had a partnership arrangement with the same family for 3 generations to look after the vines. They credit this family for their success. The one thing they uniquely do is pick the fruit at night when its cool. They believe this in integral to the taste of their wines. The wine is only available direct to consumers, mostly allocated through their mailing list. Overall we were there for over 2 hours. I will definitely be back to buy more bottles. The Tesserae is not cheap at $135 a bottle, but its a relative bargain compared the more corporate wineries, particularly those in Napa. Keep in mind, with even those wineries, you're not buying something that has 7 years of bottle life. It was very cool to actually meet the owners and see the passion they have for their craft and their land. I highly recommend a trip to visit Garden Creek Winery.
