I was hungry when I arrived at ATL Atlanta Airport. With a 5 hour layover, I need food before I get hangry. Well, these employees at Bantam + Biddy Restaurant just added fuel on the flame. The first employee couldn't understand my Chinese accent over my mask. (Eh. They don't wear masks.) I wanted a value combo with meatloaf sandwich for $9.00. She say "what?" I repeated slowly. She said ok, "what kind of drink? Get yourself a bag of chips..." I said, "wait. The sign says potato salad. I want potato salad." She flipped her neck to read the menu board and asked someone in the kitchen. "Sorry they just added today. We don't have potato salad." I said, " in that case I'll get a regular meal because I want Brussels Sprouts. I don't like chips." She asked, "are you canceling the combo?" My reply, "I don't know how you call it. I want meatloaf and 2 sides." She then turn her head at the kitchen staff. It was mumbling and inaudible. I said, "wait. Just give what I ordered and I'll get a side of Brussels Sprouts and a peanut butter pie." OMG. You messed my head up good. These employees work for Global Concession Inc. they don't carry the pride of Bantam + Biddy. I only wanted to try something of Atlanta. Since I don't like ATL in general, I really don't care for other eateries. Unfortunately, this awful dining experience made the situation worse. I considered the food excellent. Best airport biscuit. Located on Terminal C across from Krispy Kreme. They had a long line and everyone in line said they'd never tried or heard of this place but we gave it a shot. Bantam & Biddy did not disappoint. Got the Little 5 Biscuit (bacon, egg, cheese). Son got the OG (chicken). Biscuits were $6 each, a steal for airport pricing + cooked fresh. They were making fresh biscuits as we waited and the staff were so pleasant especially the beautiful and friendly woman serving the hot food. Always appreciate when places have jelly & butter out without asking. Biscuits are fluffy and fresh. Great breakfast option for an early flight. read more

Leveled up airport food in my opinion. GLOWS: - The biscuits are made fresh, and you can see them being made right in front of you. They remind me of Red Lobster's cheddar biscuit. - The food is seasoned perfectly and was overall tasty. - The peach cobbler is a hit! It was really good. It was disappointing from start to finish. First, I was told the chicken tenders would be ready in 4 minutes, yet I waited over 15 minutes before the cook did anything. Many items on the menu were low or nearly gone yet they were content with offering the scrapings as a normal portion. The meal was supposed to come with a biscuit or corn muffin, but I didn't receive either. When I brought it up, they refused to compensate for the incomplete order but still charged me the full price. On top of that, the rice and gravy tasted off--just bad. My friends and I went here for breakfast and we loved it so much we ended up going the next morning as well. The crime brûlée coffee is perfect... so make sure you try it! I am gluten free and they were awesome about working with my celiac disease and making sure I was safe! I had pancakes and breakfast potatoes and everything else I had here was delicious. Bantam and Biddy isn't celiac safe was there last Saturday. They said they had a separate area for prep , they said everything in my meal was gluten free . I asked about separate frying they said yes . With in 20 minutes after eating 1/2 of my meal I was sweating , hives , puking and the other for 10 hours . They ruined my atlanta trip . Never expect much from airport food but what I got from this place fell well below my expectations. I was on my 12th hour of traveling today, consuming only snacks until now, so I needed to eat something, as Mom would say, that would "stick to my rib". This place appealed to me because it is advertised as a southern restaurant and has a decent variety of menu items. I order meatloaf, with a side of collard greens and corn with a corn muffin. To start with, er'body can't cook collard greens and whomever cooked what I received needs to stop before it's too late. I got more stick/stems than greens. I know that's all part of the green but you can't put that many in the pot to cook with the greens. On top of that, what they call greens were very salty. I was not able to eat them for the stems and salt. The meal came with my choice of bread or a corn muffin. Of course I selected the corn muffin which you can't see in the picture because it was that small. I think a breeze blew across my plate and took it with it. That's just how small it was. The meatloaf was dry but still had some flavor. We're not going to talk about cost because it is the airport. Staff was friendly enough but, I'm still hungry. I'll consume more snacks before I go back to this place. read more

I use to love this place! Went here for a quick bite and a glass of wine with a friend! Sat at the counter because the restaurant was very busy. Counter was dirty which isn't a big deal. The problem was the server took a napkin and picked up the food particles without cleaning the counter. When the food arrived I didn't have silverware. Asked the server for utensils. Damn I love to be surprised and Bantam and Biddy really caught me off guard in the best way possible! We've come to expect average food at inflated prices when dining at the airport. Well Bantam & Biddy is delicious food served with value at average prices! We rolled into the restaurant near the end of the day and ordered a 4 piece gluten free tender meal with collard greens and fries. Our connection was tight, so we took the bag and boarded the plane. En route we noticed the weight, and once settled we opened up the box to reveal four very large chicken tenders encased in a crispy golden gluten free crust. They smelled well seasoned and were very delicious. Little hot sauce and ranch made them disappear real fast. The collards were also pretty darn good. Salty, spicy, and a little sweet, these were the perfect side for the tenders. I think the whole plate was $10 or something, which Is what makes it such an epic value!
