And it was all so delicious. We both had chicken tenders. My wife was so ecstatic to get GF Fried Okra! I had Brussels sprouts (they were a tad bit burnt but still very tasty) and the cheddar mashed potatoes (which were very delicious). All of the kids enjoyed their meals. I had never tried fried okra before and it was BOMB! We were all super happy with our meals! I had the southern and latte and everything was so tasty. I also loved that the cornbread was gluten free and they had alternative milk options! My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and she loved them too! As soon as they found out about my wife's allergy, they treated us like we were their only customer. There was only two items in the menu that had gluten. Stopped in for brunch. Great food, but slow service. We were greeted immediately, but then left to our table for almost 20 minutes before anyone checked on us again. Our server apologized profusely though and the manager even came out to apologize as well. We quickly forgave them when we tasted the food! The gluten free pancakes were gigantic and so delicious! The bacon and fruit were great and tasted very fresh. Mimosas and coffee were just icing on the cake. I would definitely consider eating there again when I'm back in Chattanooga. Anytime I am in Chattanooga I try and visit this place! This is where I feel like I can eat like a "normal" person. Today we had chicken and waffles and regular pancakes. Very strange environment. I had a uncomfortable interaction with the cashier who looked at me like I was an idiot for asking if the eggs came scrambled. After finally landing on a meal (bc they were out of everything I asked for) it took 45 min- 1 hour for it to come out...with only 2 other couples there. The fruit cup was so gross I couldn't even identify what the mushy brown thing was...it was a banana. looked like a piece of soggy chicken- completely inedible. My first experience here was a great one! I went on a Saturday during brunch hours. It wasn't busy at all! I ordered the cheddar waffle with chicken! Those chicken strips were by far, the best i had. They were fresh and hot just like i like them! I also got a mimosa which was also very good. My friend got the banana nut waffle with chicken and it was also good! However, half way into our orders come out, bananas arrived. Wow! If you are gluten free/celiac (and even if you aren't) this place is a must go! Southern food is probably one of the most glutinous styles of cuisine but this place manages to make it fantastic without! I had the chicken tenders with mac and cheese and cornbread- absolutely phenomenal. They were clearly a little short staffed but everyone working went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure we had an amazing experience. I loved having a great place to go to lunch, especially with two people on our large party having celiacs! Great menu, and you wouldn't even know most of it was gluten free.
