Oh my gosh are the staff friendly! They showed us around and answered all our questions and introduced us to people. They made us feel like family. The Russian sauna is REALLY really hot. Probably normal for Russians, but for someone who goes to the sauna at the gym all the time, this was 100% hotter. Most people wear hats in the sauna. We didn't know about this so we didn't bring a hat. I think they dip them in cold water and they say it helps them to stay in the sauna longer... that is if I understood them correctly. A bit of a language barrier. The steam room was really hot too, again much hotter than any gym steam room I've been to. Although they don't call it a steam room, their term is "Wet Sauna". The cold pool was suppose to be 33 degrees and extremely cold, we went in a bit, but were too chicken to take the plunge. Maybe if there hadn't been an audience we would have tried. The hot tub was really hot and quiet enjoyable. We also had a "venik massage" which is a massage that a Russian man gives you with leaves in the sauna. It's suppose to detoxify you and the stuff from the leaves is suppose to go into your pours. At least I think... Again, the language barrier. Maybe I will have to learn Russian. The changing rooms were really small and I wish there were more room to change/put your stuff. But they do have a free tanning bed in case you want to use it. They also have Q-tips, free locker for your stuff, and a hair dryer. We tried the Kavas, which is a Russian drink and that was cool too. There is a "dry room" to hang out in, in case you just want to chill for a bit. Play some pool, watch Russian videos, eat Russian food, hang out in comfy chairs and relax.

Awesome Russian food and awesome customer service!!!

We love to come to Downtown Banya! We come from Portland, OR for over two years now usually 4-5 times per year. Sauna is very clean. People that work there are super nice. We usually stay there from 12 PM to 6 PM on Saturdays. We always have 8-10 friends with us so we let Downtown Banya staff know when we are coming ahead of time. We reserve a room and have a lunch there. The Russian food that they serve is amazing!!! Always fresh and super tasty. One of the ladies that work there, Olga, is so nice. She treats us with a smile and kindness. My friends that I take to Downtown Banya for the first time always want to come back for more! I wish we would have something like that in Portland. Thank you so much, Downtown Banya!

The male visitors have turned this Korean spa into a bathhouse. You cant sit in the steam room, sauna, or hot tubs, and rest because the visitors are touching themselves and each other in there. I've tried to give it a few chances recently but this has happened the whole time during my last few visits. I thought maybe if I could visit on different times or days I could find a time to relax, but unfortunately it seems this goes on all day. There are a lot of signs saying there shouldnt be any sexual contact, but they don't seem to do anything. The only safe place for the men who want to relax is the coed saunas because you have to wear clothes and women share the area with men. As a Korean, I am just so disappointed that I can't use this Korean Spa for it's intended purposes. There are bathhouses in Seattle for these things, why can't these guys go there?

My daughter's partner was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given a prognosis of 6-12 months. He is currently on SSI disability since he can no longer work so his income is very limited, and asked about a free membership, and the answer was a flat no. Just policy over people. For an organization that claims to be community-focused, that response was shocking and unexpected. He is facing overwhelming physical, emotional, and financial stress. Something as simple as access to a supportive, healthy environment could make a meaningful difference--yet the Everett YMCA chose bureaucracy over basic human decency. Dr. Webb and Atlas Orthogonal is the BEST!…read more I have had terrible experiences with chiropractors over the last 10+ years. The idea that you can fix a trauma with a trauma is just fool hardy. Atlas Orthogonal and Dr. Webb "adjusted" what I thought was possible with chiropractic care. She is an insightful and caring doctor and has managed to do in just a under 2 months what no chiropractor or back specialist was able to do in years. She is amazing and I hope everyone with a difficult back or neck issue gets a chance to benefit from her methods. Dr. Webb aligned my Atlas about 6 weeks ago and with a few follow ups and a transition period for the muscles in my neck and back, I am experiencing a level of flexibility and movement that I can only describe as miraculous. My energy is up too! Thank you!

Seriously, I now take a half a day off of work in Olympia (yes, I work in Olympia!) to drive up to see Dr. Webb (now) in Seattle. I have been a patient of her's since she started to practice in Washington. Prior to Dr. Webb, I would get severe spring colds that would knock me out of commission for at least 3 days. 4 years later, I have yet to have one again. When I am in severe pain, my atlas is out or even if my muscles just hurt, I see Dr. Webb and it is like a Clariton commercial. I walk in fuzzy, unfocused and tense. An adjustment here, several clicks here and literally, you can see me "sharpen", the relief is instantaneous. I am amazed at the relief every time, even after 4 years of care. She takes care of not just my spine, but she takes care of *ME*. From my joints, my muscles, even my sinuses! Today I was a mess. I mean a REAL mess, from my head, to my shoulders, to my elbows, my spine, my hips.. it was ugly. To add to it, I had a severe ear infection. After the magic of AO and the activator, I asked her about the ear. She informed me that the AO adjustment would actually help getting the ear on track for healing. Not even 30 minutes after leaving her office (for a 2 1/2 drive home mind you!), I could feel something changing in my ear. I could hear more, sounds were sharper. Every minute of the commute to and from her office is worth it. I have seen the benefits of AO; I am the benefit of AO and Activator. But don't think all AO chiropractors are the same. I tried an AO in Olympia, thinking I would get the same care and relief as with Dr. Webb. I was ever so wrong! I spent the weekend in misery, nearly in tears until I saw Dr. Webb again, who got me back on track. If you are skeptical about the "bone-cracking" chiropractors, give Dr. Webb two weeks to switch you over to AO; you will not regret them, I promise you!
