Great little coffee shop, decent prices and menu! I was pleasantly surprised! Really good selection for a small shop! It's perfect especially if your staying at the Banyan and just want to walk downstairs for a something quick at a reasonable price! Super friendly staff, FAST service! I only had one thing here, a large iced haupia latte. It is a latte with coconut creme. And maaaan was it yummy! The lady taking my order and making my drink was very nice as well. Coffee-- A variety of espresso drinks are available here. We tried the nitro cold brew and the haupia latte. The cold brew had no bite like the normal cold brews usually have. The haupia latte was smooth and not too sweet where you can't taste the coffee. Sandwiches, Pastries & more!--- There are a variety of homemade sandwiches (egg salad, ham, turkey, breakfast sandwiches). They also have açaí bowls, wraps, salads, and a wide selection of pastries (brownies, oat balls, muffins, scones, cookies, and more!) Its a teeny weeny cafe in the lobby of The Waikiki Banyan. They have sandwiches, fruit cups, yogurt, burritos, my favorite big CINNAMON ROLLS with yummy frosting, and delicious pastries, sometimes they even got banana pudding. And of course a decent amount of coffee options. Don't expect a Starbucks menu selection of drinks and be rude to them. It's a good selection of drinks. The baristas are nice. My favorite one is the man who to some may seem distant, but i appreciate his straight to the point demeanor. I don't always need to chit chat, I just need my caffeine and burrito because i have to get back to work. They always ask if you want your pastry warmed up, they ask if you want salsa with your burrito, they ask if you want ice in your drink and room for cream. I like this place. read more

To answer your question: yes, their coffee is good. There's a lot of pastries/baked goods. They also serve other main meals, such as soups, sandwiches, and wraps. I've only tried their coffee, but it's still very good. Get the caramel latte. It's so velvety. If you're paying with card, they have a $5 minimum purchase requirement, which isn't bad at all if you're planning on getting the large size anyway (which you should). Edit: okay, their coffee isn't good. It's amazing. I'm literally in love with how high quality their coffee is. Coffee from Starbucks, for example, is acidic and bitter, but Banyan Breeze's coffee is so smooth and velvety. The caffeine is actually pretty strong too; I normally don't get the jitters because I have a caffeine tolerance, but I got a little high off of caffeine after drinking their caramel latte. I stumbled upon this place when I was wandering around the Banyan looking for mini mart and came across the Breeze. What caught my eye was the Dole Whip sign. After I stopped in and met Bri and Casey and fell in 'love" with my Banyan condo over again. The muffins and latte both were so good, I understand that all the items are homemade. Well it's been 4 months since I last wrote my review for the Banyan Breeze. I've ventured off to trying other drinks and food products other than just sticking to the regular coffee that always gave me the sole reason for coming here in the mornings before I head into work. Because I work in an office and sitting in front of the computer all day, I'm one of those that have become addicted to coffee and somehow need my coffee fix throughout the day. I'm just hooked on to any type of caffeine that makes breaking this habit tough. I like to keep it simple and have regular coffee with added milk and sweetener to give it a little taste that I often get from here. Since it's been hot lately, I've been getting more ice coffee than brewed coffee. For brewed coffee, I've tried 3 different flavors they offered at the time which was regular, coconut and macadamia nut flavored. It's recommendable to try them all as the coconut and macadamia nut gives it an island taste that you don't usually get to taste if you're not from around here. If they don't have already the flavored brewed in the morning, it usually only takes 5 minutes when you request for a certain flavor. You can also have decaf for those that just like the coffee taste. For iced coffee, I've tried the cinnamon flavored and french vanilla. It's definitely good to try a variety of flavors at times if you're one to get the same boring regular coffee. Spice it up a bit and add a little flavor to your morning coffee! I usually get a regular coffee though, unless the workers in the front offers me different flavor choices. It all depends if they have it readily available at that time. It doesn't hurt to ask if they have other flavors since they're the same price as a regular coffee. I usually don't like to spend a fortune on more flavored drinks since I'm one to have a quick picker upper with just regular caffeine. But as they offer a wide variety of flavored drink choices and syrups they can add, the list can go on with choices depending on what your preference of taste are. You may also request for non fat or soy milk for those who are conscious about milk products. I've tried the Haupia Latte, which tastes like coconut. That's pretty good and the only other flavored ice coffee drink I've tried is the White Chocolate Mocha, which is my current favorite whenever I like to treat myself to something good that day. For food products, my go to snack is the energy oatcakes that is among the other homemade goodies by the cashier. It seems to be the more healthier option compared to the other products. It's the perfect snack for me in between meals as I sit in front of my computer enjoying it along my coffee. It's so protein hearty filled with peanut butter that it's not meant for eating it in one sitting. I could easily have that for lunch alone because it's so filling for such a small thing. Although I've heard numerous compliments of their other homemade goodies though that I may have to try one day. During my lunch breaks when I forget to bring lunch, I come here since its closer than going to any other food places and grab something from the refrigerator display. I've recently tried the club salad with honey mustard. It was delicious and you can taste the freshly crisp lettuce served with slices of eggs, turkey, shredded cheese and croutons. It was a nice mix of ingredients and so filling that I had to eat it in two sittings. The pasta presto is pretty tasty as well, get it heated up, it'll tastes even better! I've also tried the ham sandwich on wheat bread. All of their food products are freshly made. For an afternoon refresher, get some fresh squeezed lemonade! It's sooooo refreshing and good. It's not too sweet and not to sour. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice as well as another option for a refreshment. Not only do they offer coffee here, there's also non coffee product such as hot tea, hot chocolate, fresh brewed ice teas and lemonades, frozen smoothies, and milkshakes. Be sure to look at their board for specials as well as the often have daily specials for you to try. Always a pleasant experience when I walk into the cafe. Sometimes when I often come here on a daily, they'll already know what kind of drink I'll be having before I even ask for it. Friendly workers throughout the day. It's a locally owned coffee shop so they often times come out with new products to offer for customers and see what is popular among the people that come in and out of this cafe. I ordered only small Flat White's (small 2-shot whole milk ristretto lattes) so my review only reflects on this one drink, although the shop has a lot more to offer. These drinks tended to be very large and not great crema or really capturing in the best attributes of a Flat White. On the plus side everyone in the cafe was wonderful and pleasant, and the cafe offers a lot more items than this one drink. Hidden in the lobby of Banyan towers, this INDEPENDENT coffee shop is a treasure! It's always dim and cool, Wi-Fi and plugs available. The coffee is strong and excellent, their eggy breakfast sandwiches are made to order, all their baked goods are homemade by the owner (pumpkin bundt cake! macaroons! Caramel coconut pie!). Also their açai bowls are incredibly delicious and feature chi seed coconut milk pudding and fresh bananas! This became our home away from home on our Hawaiian vacation! As part of my challenge to find O'ahu's best coffee shop continues, I stumbled upon this little-known gem on my way to work one day. Situated inside the Waikiki Banyan Hotel, this place has a total local-vibe written all over it. As soon as you enter, you wouldn't imagine this place being a HOTEL coffee shop. It feels like it could have it's own street corner placed in an artsy district of town. The staff is way friendly as soon as you enter, throwing across big smiles and genki hello's to all. They have a great selection of sandwiches, fruits, and other pastries and although I wasn't too hungry, I couldn't resist. I had the tuna sandwich with a iced soy chai tea latte. The chai latte hit the spot, with it's perfect spiciness and balanced sweetness. The tuna sandwich was equally as good. When you need a fork because the sandwiches are overloaded with ingredients, then you know you've found a good sandwich. The bread didn't seem too fresh however, as it was kinda hard around the corners. Didn't have that stick to the rooftop of my mouth squishiness that makes a perfect sandwich. Nonetheless, I would try another sandwich next time I go back. This being Waikiki and all, you would expect the prices to be nuts. But luckily, the cost of a sandwich and drink is pretty much average to most coffee shops outside of the tourist zone, which is a welcome surprise. If you're looking for low-key place to get a drink, then look no further. It's relaxing, casual, and quite simply a really nice spot to take a break from the chaos of Waikiki. My drink of choice was the iced caramel latte, which for a small size, was actually quite large. But that's okay, cause I needed all the caffeine I could get to last me through the day! The rest of the drink menu includes standard coffee drinks and they also have a good iced coconut latte. I came here because I needed to print a document and I knew they had a public printer. Ended up getting a "Caramel Breeze Freeze" (think like a Starbucks Frappucino) and it was absolutely delicious! FAR better than a Starbucks frozen drink. You're usually charged by a time rate for using the computer, plus a certain charge per page you're printing out if you want to use the printer. But since I was only the computer for like a total of one minute just to print one sheet of paper, the guy working the counter just charged me for using the printer and waived the computer-use fee.
