I am so sad because my meal here was delicious and they had some great veggie options but I can't go back because I had an allergic reaction and though I reached out for an ingredient list I was only given the list of items on their menu and the way they list there ingredients for that not the actual ingredients that would have given me any info on allergens so I am afraid to go back since I ordered multiple things but don't know what exactly I reacted to. I got my food to go and everything tasted great! If you don't have to worry about allergies or need specifics on their menu items I would still totally recommend the food.

We tried many of their different bao flavors and were pleasantly surprised! The flavors were bold and fresh. We ordered a side of taro chips and they were stale, but otherwise we enjoyed our meal!

I personally didn't love the boas that I got but they do stuff them full. The yenta has a super strong flavor of mustard only. It's dripping in mustard and the cabbage slaw also tastes like mustard. The pastrami beef doesn't taste seasoned. The lil bao and sticky chicky was ok nothing I really have note worthy. Personally not something I would get again. It was like 3 for like 16$ with tax.

I believe this is a chain, and they have a restaurant in Philly too. The Sticky Chicky (grilled chicken) bao was their best thing. I got without spicy sesame aioli. Very good and flavorful but very expensive. One bao bun and one small piece of chicken for $5 The Crispy Chick (fried chicken) bao was also good. I got without umami mayo. Again very expensive The Bang Bang (shrimp) bao my wife said wasn't good. Grilled Chicken Bowel I got with extra egg (again expensive even to add on egg). Was ok. Chicken was thick and dense. Rice/veggies were cold The Big Finish (fried cinnamon sugar bao) dessert was ok. Not too sweet.

Love this spot! Has become a pretty regular lunch spot for my co-workers and I. The flavors of everything I've gotten from here are never lacking, and the portions for everything are generous. The crispy chick and the prime time are my go to. Also have tried the crispy chicken bowl with noodles which was great and a ton of food. I just didn't use the side of teriyaki that came with it. Taro chips with the Asian mustard aioli and spicy crunchy cucumbers are so good. Ambiance is clean and quiet. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is for the service. Not awful, but I have an allergy to pineapple and had called to see if their teriyaki had pineapple in it (because a lot of teriyaki does) and the woman who took the called seemed very short and answered with a quick "I don't know" so I asked if anyone else would know (the people cooking) and she said "I don't know, I don't think so". So I just tried to avoid ordering stuff with it since she didn't offer anyone else to speak to, and I was never given a straight answer. I don't know if she was busy, or what but I really enjoy this place and would love to try more, but if you're not going to take the time or have the patience to offer additional help to a question about an allergy, that's not cool.

The short rib and sticky chicky are my favorite. I love the crispiness of Brussels sprouts. I hope they add a bbq pulled pork one to the menu. The taro chip bag is only 1/4 full. I would have expected it to be more full. There is only 1 dessert choice, which leaves me wanting more from the dessert menu. The order was ready at the time promised.

The homemade DanDan noodles were our favorite, which are served with ground pork in a spicy peanut sauce. We also got the three cup chicken which was so good, with a sweet, licorice-like glaze. Some other favorites were the black pepper chicken and the long hot chicken, if you enjoy spice. We had the ginger and scallion dish and was not our favorite, as the chicken had a unique consistency and was quite limp. Overall, good service and a relaxing ambiance in a bustling city.

ATMOSPHERE: Intimate spot with a small loft, soft music and big windows for people watching. Takeout and deliveries seemed to be the majority of the business. RESERVATIONS: Not needed on this particular Monday night. PARKING: Street or garage. MENU: Sichuan & Taiwanese dishes. No dim sum. BEVERAGE: Lychee Martini Perfectly chilled and balanced, complete with a whole lychee garnish. FOOD: Dan Dan Noodles We got it plain but proteins were available. Thicker noodles coated in a thick peanut-flavored sauce with a little kick of heat. Very good but I'd definitely add either chicken or tofu to break up the carbs. Dry Pot Dish Served in a steel wok, we opted for chicken which was super tender. Very flavorful dish but it wasn't presented sizzling as the menu stated. Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup If you're a ramen fan and want something different, I think you'll love this as much as I did. A generous amount of thick noodles (available hand-ripped flat noodles are a $1 option), chunky slices of tender and fatty beef swimming in a savory and slightly sour dark-hued broth. Forgot to nix the cilantro but it wasn't overly loaded. Total yum. SERVICE: Greeting was immediate and friendly. Male server was knowledgeable but there was no follow up. OVERALL: A very enjoyable alternative to traditional Asian cuisine.
