    Sticky ribs and wedge salad.

Wow, what a lovely late dinner! We arrived downstairs in the Westin lobby around 8:30 pm needing some dinner. There was a piano player playing some classics setting a happy mood. Sat near the bar on velvet chairs with side tables. TVs were on with the games on. Had a beautiful, sweet, attentive waitress. We ordered sticky ribs, wedge salad, chips/salsa, and club sandwich. Gosh, it was delicious!!! So glad we ate here!

Súper convenient bar located inside the Westin. Everything about the lobby exudes modern-luxury. Even the bar. There were plenty of spots around to catch the game. But we were there for drinks. A martini for me - which was excellent. Service was quick and friendly.

Cute bar downstairs to acknowledge. Didn't have a drink but there were lots of happy people hanging and enjoying themselves from noon and night.

We did a little staycay at the Westin Anaheim Resort, and Bar 1030 (refers to the address of the resort), is the main bar in the lobby. Our room was not ready yet, so we decided to grab some food & drink, and watch football on a Sun afternoon. We ordered the 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger and a bibb salad. First of all, the burger was excellent. It was massive, cooked medium as requested, and the meat was seasoned nicely. In addition, the fries were plentiful and GBD. The only downside was the price. Likewise, the bibb salad had lots of fresh goodies, and was good sized for an entree salad. Regarding the ambiance, its spacious and there are bar seats and tables. So why the overall 3.5 Stars you ask? Well, the service was not on point for the prices nor the nice resort. Firstly, the bartender Michael did not acknowledge us as he walked by to give another guest her bill. He could have said, "There is no waitress. Please come to the bar, and I'll give you a menu and take your drink order". Secondarily, the table was dirty. Now, this is not on the bartender, bc there were several staff at the main restaurant just standing around. There were no customers at Tangerine. Seems to me management could have a floater cleaning/waiting on tables bc the bar was a tad busy for one person. All in all a good experience, but I did expect better service. Luckily, the rest of our staycay went upwards from here.

Located in the lobby of the Westin this Lounge has comfortable seating and on some nights a live piano player. We stopped for a drink before heading to our room and were impressed. The lavender drink and the old fashioned were both well made and the service was great as well. A nice comfortable place to grab a drink and a snack.

Sat with a friend for a drink at the area in front of the bar Sunday late at fternoon. Menus are there and expected service. There were probably 5 people total at the bar and that area total. We sat for 10 minutes, nobody came for an order. My friend walked to the bar and ordered drinks. The bar person was not very friendly. E.g. "do you have any nuts", answer: "here is the menu". (Had no chips, nuts etc) For first time in last 6 months I find a place that does not accept "Apple Pay". She did not have a wallet, miraculously I did and saved the day. Drinks were OK and ambiance is great but service is lacking

We were originally planning on eating at tangerine room, but we weren't able to get last-minute reservations that night. We decided to give bar 1030 a try and we had no idea how good the food would be. The pretzels were soft, yet had a crunchy exterior and the 1030 burger was well seasoned and juicy. Our favorite by far was the steak Frites. The Wagyu was perfectly cooked, so tender and melted in the mouth. Honestly, we enjoyed it significantly more than many of the dishes served at popular steak houses. During our next stay at Westin, we will definitely be dining here again!

Went here after a long day park hopping. I stayed at the Westin and wanted a snack and a drink to decompress post 30k steps. We sat down and we were helped by Quang who made all the right recommendations and knew his stuff when it came to what liquor would pair best with the cocktail I ordered when the requested one wasn't available. I would come back here only to see Quang because of how great the experience was in the short time we were there.

We attended a special Chartreuse tasting event at Strong Water which was being held in honor of…read moreChartreuse week and Chartreuse Day 1605 (May 16), the annual celebration of Chartreuse's origins and history. The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!

This is a lovely Sleeping Beauty forrested theme lounge, and while it is small, we had no issue in waiting for a table both times we visited this Lounge. We went to the Broken Spell on our day of arrival, and David was an excellent server! I already knew I was going to order the charcuterie pizza, and asked David for a recommendation on cocktails. David recommended the Raven's Wing, and the presentation and smokey flavor did NOT disappoint. The charcuterie pizza was delicious and large enough to satisfy the appetite of two people with leftovers. I also tried the Benevolent Fairy drink which comes in three seperate potion glasses and was so much fun. While it was a great drink, I preferred the Raven's Wing! Server David was very kind and very attentive, checking on us regularly to ensure a great experience. On our last day, we stopped in on our way to the airport so we had our luggage. We were immediately seated, and greeted by a server named Gloria. When she saw our bags, she thought we were just arriving, and gave a very detailed rundown of the cocktails and food. We were only there for one last round of the Raven's Wing cocktail, and were promptly served given our time constraints. I look forward to returning to The Broken Spell Lounge!

Unfortunately, the inside of the Tiki Bar was closed for repairs/upgrades, but we ate on their very pleasant outdoor patio, and luckily, the weather was lovely. I'm not that into Hawaiian type food, no offense to Hawaiians whatsoever, so I found the menu to be a bit limiting. Since I just had a poke bowl the prior night, I didn't want another, even though it was probably what I would've ordered. Most other dishes were with pork, which I don't eat. Instead, I ordered chicken tenders, which is so NOT what I would EVER order, but I did on this day. The chicken was not overly greasy, and it had good flavor. The fries were even better. The poke bowl looked gorgeous, and the 3 others who got that said it was delicious, although not nearly as much salmon as they were hoping for... and it had way too much rice. (Those of us who had poke bowls from the previous night had loads of ahi tuna and the perfect amount of rice.) My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger, something I'd never get. Not a fan of bacon AT ALL. My grandchildren got the chicken tenders like their grandma. :-) We ate our food to being serenaded with live music on the patio. Nice touch. I think most people come here to drink cocktails, although we didn't since we were about to make a long trek home up the I-5. I probably won't eat here again when/if we stay at this hotel, but it served its purpose when we needed it.
