Like most of the patrons here, I was on the last leg of time waiting for my seat at the Pizzeria. I found a cozy corner with 2 big chairs and settled in in air conditioned comfort. I didn't try any of their food offerings, just a beer enjoyed slowly and honestly felt like taking a little nap. A credit to the cozy and quaint ambiance. I would definitely bring a date or friends here even if we weren't waiting for Pizza. read more

Well this place is a God-send for people waiting for Pizzeria Bianco. Other than that, nothing too amazing. They have a good selection of wine, for slightly above average prices. Great place in Heritage Square for a relaxing glass of wine! I have been coming here for 8 years and have always been impressed. They have a nice selection of beer and wine and it is reasonably priced. The old house it resides in is very nice. I love the wordwork and the built in cabinets. I liked it better when there were more sofas and less tables/chairs, but I guess it is so popular and they are trying to fit more people in there. You're basically "forced" into this bar while waiting for Pizzeria Bianco. The prices need improvement but they aren't crazy expensive and service is kinda slow but I guess that's for the best since you have to wait so long to get in to the Pizzeria. You could spend a lot of money on * Bianco that's for sure. read more

A converted old house that serves more as a halfway house to Pizzeria Bianco, where patrons sip on beer and wine while waiting for a table at the heavenly pizza joint. There is plenty of charm in the setting and service only builds upon that foundation. The wodden porch offers a wonderful perch to people watch or gather around with friends. We stopped in for Happy Hour before going next door to Pizzeria Bianco for dinner. The specials included draft beer and a red and white wine. The historic atmosphere is really cool and gave the place a comfortable feel. Favorite spot to go when we're looking for a chill, relaxing night. My boyfriend and I live nearby and come by as often as we can, usually on weeknights when the crowd is thinner; we've never had anything close to a bad experience. The atmosphere is my absolute favorite in Phoenix, especially out on the porch at night -- incredibly cozy and low-key. There are some kitties that hang out nearby, too. The staff are super friendly, the music is usually great, and the cocktails are something special. I'm already sad for the day we move farther away and can't walk here for a romantic night! read more

I went here Saturday evening about 6pm. We were actually going to eat next door at Pizzeria Bianco and we were told it was going to be a 30-45 minute wait so we walked over by the science center, and then decided to stop in to the Bar Bianco next door to have a glass of wine while we wait. What a nice little bar, cozy, and historical. We walked in, were never greeted, seated ourselves at a table and waited. A couple staff members walked past us, but we were never acknowledged. I overheard a staff member telling other patrons that someone would be over to take their order, so I assumed the same would happen for us, too. We waited about 10-15 minutes and nothing. We walked out. I was pretty disappointed since this place had wonderful reviews and seemed like a great place to enjoy a glass of wine while we waited for our table next door. Next time, I will just skip this place and go right to the pizzeria and have my glass of house wine there....it was fantastic. 5 stars for the pizzeria. read more

Bar Bianco has contributed to some pretty great memories. I have been here to wait to be seated at the pizzeria, it is part of the experience ad I always look forward to it. The bar is cozy and the music is conducive to that experience. It's a great place for a romantic date or to have a laugh with friends. The bartenders are always extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which when it comes to wine bars is not always the case. Their selection of beer and wine is always on point. I like knowing that every time I go they will have something different to try. Their appetizers are great and the system they have to get you seated next door is incredibly efficient. Very cool place. Located right next to Pizzeria Bianco and ran by the same owners (they get their drinks from here for the restaurant). Staff was amazing and the atmosphere was super chill and relaxed. Great place to have a drink under the stars in Arizona. We walked over to have a drink while we waited for our table at the pizzeria and time went by so fast that we weren't ready to go when our table was ready. This is my favorite bar in Phoenix. I almost don't want to write a review so that people don't find this hidden gem! But I must, because they deserve a 5 star review! I went on a double date on a Thursday night to bar bianco. I had never been before but the couple we were with are regulars, and now I plan to be as well. It is in a little house run by a husband and wife team. I can't remember her name... but she is the most adorable person and such a great waitress. She told us about their latest experimental drinks and let us sample! We ordered a bottle of wine and a few cocktails, all of which were amazing! The atmosphere is relaxed and encourages you to sit, stay, and enjoy. I will be back many times because the drinks are always changing - depending on what they bought that week or what extra produce they had on hand that they decided to soak in vodka! I was on a school field trip for the science center and had 4 young boys sat under a tree in the shade from the sun so they could eat there lunch. The bar was closed and the tree was not fenced off but some old woman came out moaning that we couldnt sit under the tree..... obviously dont have children or heartless, maybe both... if you dont want children taking shade under your tree when your buisness is closed maybe you should fence it off..... read more

Went to the bar while we waited for a table. We had a cheese plate that was very good although it came without a word and we had to ask what the cheeses were.
