They don't do to go orders which means they bring all of the order out and to go boxes then you have to box it up yourself. Just weird. The bar was a comfortable atmosphere. I wish we could have just eaten there but we had the dogs with us in car so no deal. The wings in general: they were huge, juicy and perfectly cooked. The hot was pretty darn spicy. The medium was comparable to a Hooters hot. The honey Dijon had a kick. We ordered a split: hot & spicy bbq and honey butter bbq. I think the kitchen screwed up and made them all hot & spicy. The sweet potato fries were waffle cut and well seasoned. I wish they would have put ketchup in the order. My bad for forgetting to ask. The fried garlic cheese curds were very garlicky. No vampire will come within 10 yards of me tonight! I'm a garlic fan, so I'm a fan but if you're not a garlic person, order at your own risk. Happy that we decided to make it here on a Friday. We decided to go early do a little happy hour and of course eat some wings. There was a 30 minute wait even at 5 PM. Parking lot was full. We were able to find some seats at the bar. Bartender was great very nice and helpful. We opted for the medium hut and honey butter barbecue wings. Any claim for any place in Buffalo to be the best at wings or Beef on Weck is always controversial and divisive. So I will not claim they are the best...but damn are they good. We tried every wing flavor they had and our collective favorite of our group of 8 was the Honey Butter BBQ. The Sicilian was good but a little too rich for more than 1 or 2. (Last visited 10/6/2021.) As a part of my wing tour in Buffalo I was told to check out Bar-Bill which is actually a little outside of Buffalo in a city called Clarence. Here's why I believe Bar-Bill North has the best wings in all of the Buffalo, New York region. Atmosphere/Appearance: Being as it's October this place was decorated in numerous Halloween themes which was very cool. There is a private parking lot so you don't have to worry about leaving your fly ride on the street somewhere. There are like 4 different sections of the restaurant. Once inside and off to the right you have the bar area. Further to the right is a merchandise section. Off to the left is the main dining room and further back is another dining room section. It was later in the evening so it wasn't very busy or loud. Service: I can't remember our server's name, but she was so sweet, quick and helpful. She made great recommendations and took excellent care of us! Food: So I got to try 6 different flavors while I was here. The restaurant offers many more, but my stomach is only so big. Lol. Here goes... Red, White & Blue: Delicious flavor. The bleu cheese crumbles on top added sharpness that coated my mouth. The wings were tender, just a bit sweet and it had a decently spicy entrance point that quickly diminished. Spicy Asian: Smelled like a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant (that's a good thing), the spice was immediate and caught me off guard. Lol. There was a great Szechuan flavor as well. Honey Cajun Butter: The Cajun seasoning on top added the perfect punch. The honey and butter did a sweet + savory dance that worked really well. This wing also came with a a sauce that had a bit of cinnamon sprinkled on top that was a great accompaniment. Sicilian: This was basically their version of the Garlic Parmesan wing. There were real parmesan cheese shreds right on top that gave a great salty and robust flavor. The garlic was heavy, just everything was grand and even had a mild vinegar flavor. Cajun Medium: Was great. It's basically their Buffalo sauce with Cajun seasoning for added flavor. Really good. Hot: These came out a little on the drier side so we asked for extra sauce, which wasn't a problem. This was a great hot sauce that didn't taste traditional. It was different and a bit hard to describe. You have to try it. Value: 10 wings will run you $15.95 and 20 will run you $31.95. Some flavors will be an upcharge, but you can add Cajun to any sauce for $0.50. They're definitely worth it. In conclusion, Bar-Bill North will be at the top of my list in Buffalo and worth a visit every time I'm in the area! read more

Husband forgot the Bills pre-game so he waited a bit to get take out but I think it was worth it :) we tried four flavors: Cajun Honey Butter, Medium, Lemon and Pepper, and Hot and Spicy BBQ. Our favorite was Hot and Spicy BBQ! Definitely going to come back again. We will be trying all the great wings spots in the Buffalo area to find the best ones! The times certainly have changed...Growing up in wny I remember going to dive bars and paying $5 for 10 wings and even finding 10 cent wing nights...The wings would be good too...Nowadays these places act like they are selling lobster by the prices they are charging...If you are going to have the audacity to charge an arm and a leg for chicken well then they better damn well better be cooked the right way...My friend and I can eat a lot..we each got 20 wings, split an order of pizza rolls, and he got a pop...I drank water...Our bill was $92 !!!... Great place for Buffalo favourites like wings and beef on weck! The restaurant is beautiful with so many different seating areas. We went up to the loft/patio because the weather was nice. They had fans to move some air and a TV, but it was covered. Server was nice and friendly and gave us recommendations on what to select. We shared the beet salad, wings, beef on weck and waffle fries. The wings were very tasty (mix of hot and cajun). Beef on weck was so moist and juicy that I dare say it is better than the OG. Surprised how good the waffle fries and beet salad was. I absolutely loved the medium wings as they had an unexpected sweetness behind the tingling. And the Sicilian had shredded Parmesan on them and looked extra fancy. I loved the presentation with the wings in a circle around the dip, instead of piles like you normally get. And the drinks had a great variety. They did charge $1 for extra sauce that we weren't expecting and they should have said when bringing it out, and when ordering 20 wings split in 2 flavors, we were charged for 10 and 10 individually, which was a few more dollars, but overall, prices are decent and it was a good time. Best Buffalo wings I've had! I knew when we visit Buffalo we needed to find a place to get Buffalo wings. After doing some research we ended up picking this spot for our Buffalo wing experience and it did not disappoint. However if you're from out of town you might be inclined to ask for another dipping sauce (ranch) instead of the classic blue cheese. Don't make the same mistake as my partner. I wish I could give 3.75 stars. So we are on way to Toronto by car and since we are passing Buffalo, we have to stop and hit two of the top wing stops: Bar Bill and Duff's. First up, BB. While perusing their web site, I notice they are promoting their beef on weck sandwich as one of the best. I love trying local food so we get a 10 piece medium hot and a regular size beef on weck. I originally ordered hot but the guy said that is pretty hot so since we still had few hours drive, I went with medium hot. Bad choice!! Must be some weak folks up here because the sauce is not hot at all. The wings have a really good crisp though, which sort of saves it. The beef on weck is not bad. Kind of an elevated Arby's with that roll with the salt flakes on top. It is not a hot sandwich and the jus is also just luke warm. Definitely add the horseradish to get best flavor combo. The food itself was excellent. We ordered Cajun wings and Honey Butter BBQ, with 5 wings and 5 legs, and both flavors were a 5/5 super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. No complaints at all there. We also got the shoestring fries, which were absolutely delicious crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and easily some of the best fries I've had. Another 5/5. Unfortunately, this is where the 3-star rating comes in. The service was really lacking. It took over an hour for our food to come out, and our waitress was pretty nonexistent. She got our drinks, then about 20 minutes later came back to ask for our food order. After that, it was another hour before we finally received our food -- and it wasn't even brought out by her. No one ever checked on us to see if we needed refills or anything else. The atmosphere itself was nice, but the seating was an issue. The chairs were very unstable six chairs fell over while we were there. Anytime someone put a coat on the back and went to sit down/ stand up, the chair flipped over with a loud crash, nearly hitting other customers. It was honestly a bit concerning. Amazing food, but the service and seating really took away from the experience. If those things were improved, this place could easily be a standout. read more

Arguably the best wings in Buffalo- of course everyone has their favorites but this easily makes my top 3! Tons of fun sauce options, Cajun BBQ is one of my favorites. I do like to get double sauce for these wings as I don't feel there is an enough sauce for my preference otherwise. The waffle fries are delish. We got the fried pickles once that were just okay. Great beer selection, if you go on a weekend be prepared for a decent wait (1-1.5 hours) but you can grab a drink and sit outside if the weather is nice. The bar was pretty crowded but we got lucky and a couple seats opened up quickly. The medium spice wings were just slightly spicy- perfect for me. Mild we're not spicy at all. Both were cooked perfectly and excellent! This was my first beef weck too and it was very good. It's huge so recommend you share if you don't have a big appetite. And wow I'm thankful the other place was closed because this food was amazing! The wings were perfect. Very crispy and the painted on sauce was a new touch that I've never experienced. I would like to think that I have good judgement when it comes to a great buffalo wing. I've been all over the city and have tried over nearly a dozen different places for a good wing. To me, what makes a good wing is that it needs to be saucy, yet not soggy. As far as the appetizers, we got the fried artichokes and jalapeño poppers; both were incredible. We ordered extra crispy wings and to be honest, even then they could have been crispier and saucier. The flavor of the sauce was incredible, and I love how they separate the drums and the flats. Overall, I think that bar bills is a good place to catch a dinner or apps. Do I think there are better wing places in Buffalo? Yes. They're still the best wings in the Buffalo area.. although this time that I was here there was legitimately like no sauce on the wings.. we got 20 medium hot . When in Buffalo we had to get wings! After looking up various articles and reviews Bar-Bill came up consistently so that is what we decided to go with. Even coming in for a late lunch we didn't expect it to be too packed but the parking lot was full! When you walk in through they have plenty of space so we didn't need to wait fortunately as we were starving. As for the space it's your typical dive bar type of vibe. Menu had variety for the food and drink menu pretty standard. We really came for the wings so we ended up trying a couple flavors such as the mild, extra hot, cajun honey bbq, spicy asian, and sicilian. We also ended up trying the beef on weck since we saw that coming up on multiple reviews. Wings were solid with plenty of sauce and veggies to temper the spicier flavors around.
