Cool bartender who let me put my Bills sticker on the Tito's holder. (Yes, it's me)
    Brian T.

Just arrived back home for the holidays from Nashville. Looong weekend of driving and Bills game in Cleveland yesterday. Arrived in town after dinner time last night. So, I was ready for some chicken wings for my first meal home! We were initially going to go to BarBill, but it was over an hour wait. I've been wanting to try Main and Hamlin, so I figured this would be the ideal time. They didn't disappoint! The chicken wings were amazing! We had Cajun honey barbecue and the medium. Both orders came out crispy and perfectly brushed with the sauce. My goodness, they were sooo good! The blue cheese was the best homemade blue cheese I've ever had. The service was spot on and dining wasn't it too loud and nice and spacious. Super clean too! Can't wait to come back!!! PS, wings were so spot on, I hollered back to the guys in the kitchen to give em kudos. Their response... "Because they're made with love!" You could tell they were! Cheers!

A newly opened bar with small menu. Everything looks affordable and portion sizes are big. The wings are crispy and juicy. They are must gets. I also ordered a beef on weck. The portion is so big. I couldn't finish it. The beef is soft and the sauce on the side adds extra flavor of meat to it. The mozzaluna is interesting. It is a basic mozzarella stick but in a different shape, offering extra crisp. Overall the service is outstanding. Drinks are around $10 too. Everything is good and I have no complaints.

Impeccable service: James the bartender was so friendly and determined to find us a table. We ended up just sticking with take out because I was feeling homebody-ish, but appreciated his efforts. Everyone that walked in was recognized and welcomed. Food: I recommend the Chicken Crunch Sandwich (Cap n' Crunch coating), which was is my favorite go-to at the BSG (in OP area). Great slightly sweet flavor and a crispness that can't be beat. Also suggest the shrimp tacos, which were loaded with flavor; loved the candied jalapenos and aioli. It was nice to see a different side paired with this dish - their corn dip with tortilla chips is one of those dishes you can't get enough of at a party. Definitely check-out this spot in EA. And know that you can always order takeout by stopping in (can try calling, but may be hard to get through).

What a great place! Giant delicious wings that are flavorful and you can actually taste the chicken because they are not doused in sauce. My wife said the street corn dip was one of the best appetizers she has ever had. The owner and staff are all pleasant. We will be back soon!

We stopped by on Friday before the long memorial weekend. The place was packed and, for some reason, very loud. That usually doesn't bother me, but it was just so darn loud, so we took our drinks outside. They fixed a few things up since it was aurora ciderworks. I believe they added a bar ledge in front, which worked out well for us. We may stop by again when it's a little less packed to see what the food is like and the ambiance on a regular Friday. I'll review the bar again the next time we stop by.

What better time than the week after the return of Bills safety Damar Hamlin to visit one of the newest East Aurora hot spots, The Bar at Main & Hamlin (no relation). After branching off from Bar-bill, the owners took a brief hiatus to build their new digs across the road and (spoiler alert), like their namesake, are destined to win themselves "Comeback Player of the Year" Location: 4/5 Great ambiance; high energy, clean and high-quality feel. A cozy neighborhood bar by design, seating was somewhat limited and the majority of it was picnic table style. Old fashioneds were just ok. Presentation: 4.5/5 Separate drums and flats in a tin tray, which, if you've read our past reviews, you know we LOVE. Only negative was there was no celery to cleanse the palate between flavors. I know, -- picky. Meat: 4/5 Every wing was perfectly shaped which is usually enough to warrant a perfect score here but these were somewhat on the small side which drew a mixed review from the Kings. Intermission note: This review makes M&H sound somewhat average thus far, but everything is about to change.... Cook: 10/10 Absolute perfection. I don't know what they do that is different but that's exactly what these were. Hot out of the fryer, these were fall-off-the-bone tender and yet, still juicy. Wow. Standard Medium Wing: 14/15 Flawlessly crispy with an inimitable peppery flavor. We are usually pretty good at pinpointing how a restaurant prepares their wings to try to make them unique but we can't figure this one out. Whatever they do, they do nearly flawlessly. A tie for our highest score ever awarded here. Specialty Flavors: 9.5/10 A real hit parade. Lemon pepper, a flavor commonly destroyed, were simply outstanding. Cajun honey BBQ, although tough to measure up to the 'best wings on planet earth' served across the street, were great in their own right. Hot garlic (which is not on the menu per se, but heads up, they can do combinations!) were magnificent. Final score: 46/50 We have a new leader in the clubhouse!!

The original plan was to go to Barbill, but they had a wait over an hour so we ended up here and were able to sit down at a table right away (backhanded compliment, I know). Very similar food as Barbill. The wings were fantastic as were the waffle fries. Service was great too, our waitress had a lot of big tables and was staying on top of everything very well. Sat out on the patio on a perfect fall afternoon. Plus they're dog friendly!

My girlfriend and I visited Main & Hamlin for the first time and were very impressed. It was a beautiful Saturday night and the bar was very busy, but the service was still quick and attentive. We were put on a waitlist for a table but it took less than 5 minutes to be seated. The menu is relatively small, which is understandable for a new restaurant. There are a handful of appetizers, a few salad options, sandwiches, and wings/fingers. We started with an order of fresh cut fries which were nicely seasoned and served piping hot. They were delicious. For entrees, we ordered 10 wings Cajun Hot and 10 wings Honey BBQ, as well as a Smash Burger with waffle fries. The wings are truly ELITE! The Cajun Hot was delicious, the absolute perfect amount of heat and spice and the Honey BBQ was tremendous as well. I did not have any of the burger, but my girlfriend raved about it and said the brioche bun was to die for - very buttery and garlicky. The "branding" on the top bun was a nice touch! Highly recommend the Bar at Main & Hamlin next time you are in East Aurora! The quality of the wings is equal to that super popular place across the street

I'm still especially loyal to their cookies: perfectly tender with just the right chew, generously sized and absolutely shareable (if you're feeling generous). The shop itself has a weird smell that mixes stale coffee with something vaguely chemical.
