Recently passing the one-year mark Bar Bohème began offering Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day, the collaboration between Chef James Trees and investors continuing a choice of a la carte or Prix Fixe over from the dinner menu with three courses including a Pastry Board for just $55. Designed as a Mediterranean-inspired French Bistro, think florals and lots of light with white tablecloths, guests visiting 1401 South Main Street during the daytime are greeted by a smiling hostess before being handed off to service that remains a serious "work in progress." Continuously evolving thanks to customer comments and a commitment to excellence, Pastry Chef Jake Yergensen's Baguette now the best in Sin City after attending classes in Paris, all tables (or most since the table adjacent saw theirs forgotten) begin with housemade Jam and good Butter plus a Seasonal Danish, Cream-filled Cruffin and Butter Croissant that would not be out of place in France. Allowing guests to choose their own plates, some with a supplement and new ideas coming soon, course two includes the likes of Boheme's Onion Soup or Steak Tartare re-imagined as a Banh Mi Sandwich plus decadent Porridge and Tomatoes on Toast that are remarkable considering the local landscape. Not about to pass up a Smoked Salmon Crepe Cake, the idea once seen at Chicago 1* Band of Bohemia here sized down and refined, a server fond of terms like "Captain" and "Chief" unfortunately forgot to serve Boheme's Lobster Cocktail until reminded much later, though the dish remains excellent. Onward to Entrees, a proper Omelette with Morels unparalleled in Sin City, Boheme's "Caramelized Brioche" falls short in terms of taste and execution when compared to a shareable Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich or Esther's French Toast just down the street. Yelp Review 2026 #68: Chef James Trees has amazing talent. He's had success with Esther's Kitchen, Ada's, Al Solito Posto, Bar Boheme, and his latest - High Steaks. Esther's Kitchen has been my favorite. But after trying Bar Boheme for brunch...I don't know anymore. As soon as you walk in, the green and pink interior just catches your eyes. The hostess was friendly, the host she was with not so much and he's always standing in people's way. But other than that, everything was perfect. The chef himself was present in the restaurant chatting with diners and checking in on them. Service was superb. My glass was always full. Whatever I ask for is given to me within a few minutes and always with a smile. You can order à la carte or do the prix fixe menu. I wanted to try a few things so, their prix fixe menu made more sense. For $55, you get a pastry board, first course and a second course. It was a lot of food...having too much good food is never a problem! Pastry Board: To start off your brunch, they give you a chocolate cruffin, baguette, croissant, and a peach Danish with a dish of butter and cherry compote. We were getting full from pastries alone. So, we took the rest to-go because we have to make it to 2 courses! Everything was flaky, crunchy and fabulous. I couldn't get enough of the cherry compote. Chef sent one of his staff to attend à laminating class in order to make their pastries in house. 5/5 Smoked Salmon Crepe Cake: Egg mimosa, smoked trout roe. You eat with your eyes first and does this look delicious! Creamy, soft, salty, mildly tangy with the roe popping in your mouth. Just the right portion. It's as delicious as it looks. 5/5 Soupe A L'oignon: Beef broth, emmentaler, gruyere, baguette. Think a much elevated French onion soup. What sets this apart is the type of alcohol and cheese they use. The Chef shared that he uses an Alsatian recipe. We gave him feedback this was a lot of soup. I didn't think you could get full from soup but yeah, it happened. He laughed and he said there was a snafu with ordering soupieres that he ended up with the 16oz bowls! Cheesy, meaty flavor and the baguette is still crunchy. 5/5 Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich: Gruyere, mornay, jambon de paris, frites. I liked chicken cordon bleu when I was a child and this was a good rendition in sandwich form. A juicy piece of chicken, à thick layer of thinly-sliced ham, moray sauce, and lots of melted cheese in between à soft and sweet buttery brioche bun. The frites were fluffy and crunchy. 5/5 Le Hamburger: Caramelized onions, new school american cheese, dijonnaise, beef tallow frites. Thick juicy beef patty, slightly crunchy onions against soft buns. 5/5 I'm still thinking about that salmon crepe cake. I've been to Bar Boheme a few times and just came back for the opening of their Brunch. When I die can I please take a James Trees Brunch with me when I go? It just hits on every level OK? Like the ambiance, the vibe, the menu, the service. It's firing on all cylinders over here and you shouldn't miss it. First of all, you can get a pre-fix for $55 and that includes a BOMB pastry plate and a generous 2 course meal. It was more food than we could handle, but land out to a JT restaurant to have me ready to try one of everything. I already know what i want to get the next time I go back. They make all their pastries in house and the pastry chef is one of the best in this city for real for real. The food is 10/10 no notes as usual, and the service is beyond beyond beyond beyond. Max took amazing care of us at the bar and really made the whole experience come together. After enjoying Esther's, Ada's and Al Solito Posto, I had to check this out when back in town and did so for my birthday dinner. Keeping it simple, the service was great, all the items we ordered from apps to mains were delicious, well executed and gorgeous. The ambiance is nice- very open and fairly simple/understated. A close friend recommended Bar Boheme for our party of 12 business recognition event. Everything from the service, food and drink selections and presentations were perfection. Most of us tried the pineapple daiquiri and loved it. I had the sauteed ocean trout, it was perfectly prepared. It was savory, flakey, moist, with a crispy crust. The tower of seafood was also a hit, fresh and chilled. We had many food options and enjoyed all their unique tastes. It is located in the Arts District on the corner and easy to access. We stumbled into this place by accident when we saw the cocktails sign pointing towards a door in what was almost an alleyway. It was filled with art drawn on the walls. We walked in on a Friday night and was able to snag some seats. The service was pretty nice and accommodating. It was a little stuffy inside and we were able to move outdoors. The drinks were good. We had the most stunning experience this past weekend. The food, the service the environment, everything was perfect! The amuse-bouche started us off on the right foot with a chilled asparagus soup and a sticky short rib. Small and fun portions that prepared your palate. We did the three course prefix meal and I started with the French onion soup. This is hands down the best and heartiest French onion soup I have ever had. It was rich but not too thick and was loaded with onions and delicious cheese. They give you a steak knife to cut through the cheese! If I could buy this in a bucket I would. My husband got the tuna tartare and it was so clean and fresh. Next stop was the main course: I got the trout. It had a beautiful crispy skin on the outside, cooked perfectly and was on a bed of sweet and savory lentils. My husband got the degustation of beef, which is beef cooked three different ways. It was tasty, fun and interesting but sadly not enough of a portion to fill him up. For dessert we the ordered the croustillant chocolate cremeux and the Paris breast. They were both perfect. Every plate picked up from our table had literally nothing left on it. Joey was our server and he was awesome! He gave you white glove service without it feeling overly pretentious. This is our (party of 3) first time dining at Bar Boheme. It was highly recommended and I was excited to dine here on our vacation to Vegas. When you first walk in the atmosphere is trendy and appealing. We were greeted by a friendly welcoming gentleman. Our waitress/server was also friendly and very knowledgeable. Being our first time there she explained the menu and recommended her favorite dishes. I absolutely loved her personality, she is an excellent waitress/server! On to the food... i was looking forward to p.e.i mussels but sadly they were sold out so we ordered the Bone Marrow instead. It was excellent and I highly recommend it and we also tried the Baquette. The baguette was served warm like it was freshly baked. Now it gets to be an unfortunate experience. We waited 45 mins for our entree. The waitress did come by to apologize for the wait. Son #1 ordered the Gnocchi and he said it was good. My other son had the Boeuf Bourguignon. The beef was good but the vegetables were served under cooked. I tried the Loup de Mer. The bouillabaisse was served cold and the some of the mussels was gritty, which is very unappetizing to me. The sea bass was good. I wasn't sure if the Loup de Mer bouillabaisse was supposed to be cold so I asked the waitress and she no, it's supposed to hot to warm. She then offered to make fresh order. I declined because we were already there too long. The manager then came over to apologize and wanted to make things right. For dessert we had Crème Brûlée, Tart Tatin, Paris Brest and all were good. read more

This was my third to visit to Bar Boheme and it just keeps getting better! The restaurant itself is lovely, the staff and service spot on. My favorites from the menu were the baguettes with French butter (my oh my, that baguette is perfection!), steak frites, and the pate de campagne. Sister restaurant of Ester's Kitchen and we're fans. We stumbled upon Bar Boheme while walking to another restaurant on a Friday night. While walking back to our car, we stopped by to briefly look at this added gem in the Arts District. A worker noticed we were looking from outside and she walked out, greeted us, and invited us to view the menu. We started to chat and OMG, we knew each other from a restaurant Tupac and I dined at in San Diego. Aleen was our server then and she remembered us and where we even sat. Such a small world. Well, the following weekend, we just had to return and try the food. We were warmly greeted by the manager, Aleen, and another worker. We sat by the window. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and I liked the outdoor seating too which I'd love to sit there when it cools down. Thank you for the complimentary Confit Duck with Apricot Jam, Gougeres (Truffle Cheese Mouse), and dessert. Food: Loaf of Bread with Butter Tuna Tartare 8 OZ Bavette Steak Frites Trout Amandine with Brown Butter, Haircot Vert and Lemon I tried not to eat all the bread. Lol. It was good but the outside can get very hard. The tuna was amazing! I loved this dish very much and the crostini was the perfect size. The steak was ok. I was not a fan of the cut but I know better next time. I still ate it as it was tender and gamey. Still good if that's what you are looking for. The fries were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Lastly, the trout was yummy. Loved the brown butter that complemented the fish. I have not been to owner and chef, James Trees', other restaurants to compare, but I truly enjoyed my experience at Bar Boheme. The decor is chic, Miami leaning with tropical wall paper and lamps against pink walls. Elegant table settings and a marble bar. Nice selection of wine, beer and creative cocktails. The French 75 was calling me and my friends; the gin, lemon and sparkling wine were well balanced. Our server was so sweet and bubbly. She informed us of the featured menu for Restaurant Week and allowed one of us to go with the 4-course meal while we ordered a few other items a la carte. I was curious to try the Chicken Liver Pate, but our server recommended the Pate de Campagne, which is made with pork. It was delicious and savory with the cornichon and mustard. Lobster Cocktail was a bit small for $29. It reminded me of ceviche with avocado and grapefruit. I loved the fried saltine crackers that came with it too. Trout Amandine was very rich with brown butter. The almonds and fresh haricot very provided a crunchy texture and the lemon cut through the butter. From the Restaurant Week menu, 4 course meal for $80, we got the Canapé with black truffle and cream filling, Escargots Vol-au-Vent (loved the puff pastry and onion jam), Boeuf Bourguignon (incredible red wine braised beef, vegetables and whipped potatoes), and Paris Brest for dessert (crispy choux, hazelnut praline, praline cream, caramel, toasted hazelnuts). My friends and I savored our bites of the Paris Brest while sipping on delightful espresso martinis. We had to take home some of the Boeuf Bourguignon and vegetables and we ordered the beef tallow fries, but they forgot to include it in our to-go bag. :( Nonetheless, we had a fabulous dinner experience overall. We were visiting for the holidays and had heard a lot about the Italian place down the street, but they were booked so we went here which is their newest edition by the same chef. Our server was amazing, he was very charming and helped us decide on what dishes would work best for each person. The place is very organized with a cozy Christmas feel when we were there. A lot of people got the burger, which was amazing. The onion soup was so good. We all ended up sharing a little bit, even though it wasn't my order. Everything was amazing including the crème brûlée twist made as a tart. If we lived locally, we would definitely come back! Thank you so much for the great service! Chef Trees has created a French restaurant that has something for any taste. I came for the Restaurant Week menu. It was a pleasure to enjoy this French restaurant in the Arts District in Las Vegas. I started with a gougère, a cheese puff with gruyère, a perfect taste of good things to come. Next I got the escargots Vol-au-Vent. Four small puff pastries topped with an escargot with onion jam and herb butter. I forgot to get a photo. There are others. Very enjoyable intro to the main course. The main was the Boeuf Bourguignon with root vegetables and a very rich Bourguignon gravy. Served with a small casserole of mashed potatoes, it proved to be an excellent main course. The beef was fall apart tender and the presentation with the vegetables around the exterior of the meat was eye catching. I finished with Paris Brest--crispy choux, hazelnut praline, praline cream, caramel, and toasted hazelnuts., Service was top notch. Sequoia, my server, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and pleasure to server. She showed me the petit Boheme-- a small cocktail lounge at the end of a walkway the goes from Main Street to the rear of Bar Boheme. After dinner, I went out the back door of the restaurant and just took a quick look. A very pleasant lounge with tables and a bar. This is a place I'll be back to soon. I want to order from the menu next time. For those who know the parking situation in the Arts District, there is parking on Main Street on both sides. The cross street, Imperial avenue, also has paid parking. There is a public lot diagonal to the restaurant so this will be an easier place to park especially on weekends. read more

Confusing because Bar Boheme is the restaurant while Petite Boheme is the bar concept located in a separate building in the back. We dined at Bar Boheme first. The exterior building just looks plain but once inside, it's elegant and classy chic. Modern twist to traditional French cuisine. We studied the menu before we came so we didn't waste anytime. They chef coursed everything. We absolutely loved everything we ordered: Chicken liver pate ($16): one of the best pate. Smooth rich and savory. Escargot ($17): our least favorite. Each one was placed on a puff pastry. All I tasted were the breading. I prefer it in a dish with the sauce to dip. Although, the puff pastry was less messy. La Petite Seafood tower ($76): Absolutely recommend and worth it. Such a deal! Mussels, oysters, scallops crudo, tartare, prawns, lobster. Came w 4 dipping sauce and crostini. Bone marrow ($26): one of the best bone marrow. Came w 4 nice size that actually had marrow. The onion brûlée balanced out the richness. Drinks: French 75 ($16): gin, lemon, bubbles. I love gin, citrus and bubbles but I was unsatisfied with the quality. Highland afternoon ($16): rum, scotch, strawberry, ginger, lime. Fiancé got this and I was not a fan. Scotch and rum doesn't go well w me. It's butter not sweet as suggested. We didn't get a second drink because we were disappointed on our choices and we knew we were heading next door to Petite Boheme. Our server walked us over through the back entrance. read more

Very much enjoyed our early supper at Bar Boheme last month: my wife and I and two of her lady friends. Our server Cory provided - no kidding - the best dining assistance of an entire trip filled with great servers. Charming, friendly, and interestingly informative without being pedantic - always there when we might need something, never pestering when we didn't. Thanks so much for taking good care of us! The room is pretty - the ladies loved it - and the patio looks wonderful as well (I want to come back just to sit out there). But we were there for the food, which did not disappoint. My wife had the Moules au Safran (as well as a couple French 75s) and we enjoyed the Pate de Campagne; I had a beautiful Bavette steak with bearnaise and fries as well as a frisee lardon salad. (I don't remember what the lady friends had, other than there was a much appreciated steak tartare and seafood tower over on that side of the table. We finished up with a delightful and just-right-for-the-group raspberry mousse that impressed with masterly examples of four different dessert techniques. Very fun note to end a pleasant time. Only two negative things to say: the baguette with the vaunted froufy Meunier butter was only meh and the non-alcoholic Zero Proof Negroni (guess who was driving?) - while spot-on for taste - was a hollow sodapop mockery of the soothing rubber mallet ETOH burn that one expects in a cocktail. The last was no fault of Bar Boheme, I just learned to avoid NA cocktails (on the other hand, their NA Brooklyn Grapefruit IPA was a delight and I didn't in any way miss the booze). On the subject of the bread and the butter: honestly, I was a little perplexed - the baguette was _fine_, of course, but reading that description of _any_ bread from Esther's will be a surprise. And the frou-frou butter was also - fine. Not at all up to the hype. But so what? We'll be back - heck, we can't wait to return! read more

What a great experience! I love the pink interior! It definitely transports you to another place! The weather was gorgeous so the doors were open!! We kind of went crazy and ordered A LOT!! The baguette and butter, the escargot, and the frites were the favorites. Here's where it didn't work for me.. the beef bourguignon was great.. but I personally needed more salt. (I like salt like a psycho), same thoughts to the bone marrow, I ate the frisée because I liked all the salt. Hehe. The chicken is great but I wanted more gravy, and the gougeres have good flavor but it was cold so it threw me off. But honestly it doesn't matter because it was still good either way. So if you like salt I'd probably ask for some lol. I wish I had room for dessert but I'm weird and wanted to eat the garbage in my freezer haha. If you are a fan of fine dining and looking for a place off the Strip, you NEED to go here and get the tasting menu. I was impressed with both the food and the service, which were on par with the top restaurants in town. I went early on a Sunday as a solo diner and was treated like royalty. Joey, my server, was attentive and accommodating to my slow pace and questions about the menu. Their seasonal tasting menu had everything you would expect from a world-class restaurant: caviar, foie gras, truffles, brioche, specialty butter, and more. The clear standouts for me were the agnolotti, a delightful cheese-filled pasta in a mushroom consomme, and the steak course, which had several creative takes on pairing beef with carrots. The bar is well-stocked, and I had a lovely Black Manhattan to go with my meal, which is surprisingly hard to find at many places in Las Vegas. I've been waiting to try this place for 2 years, since the Chef & owner, James Trees gave me a delicious sample at The Pizza Festival over 2 years ago. And it was everything I hoped and more. Absolute fantastic meal. The baguette is good, but the French butter is wonderful. We started off w lobster cocktail (very good, good size portion) and Rillettes de Canard. I can be picky on pate, but, I love anything w apricot jam and this was phenomenal. With 4 you could easily share this with a friend although I ate ever last bit of mine. For dinner we each had the Boeuf Bourguignon. It's a red wine braised beef, matignon with a side of goat cheese mashed potatoes. The Bourguignon was extremely tender and melt in your mouth delicious but the mashed potatoes were heavenly. Additionally the service was amazing. Seriously so good. That's saying a lot more considering they've only been open a few weeks. I think this is my new favorite restaurant! read more

We came in and had such a wonderful experience. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. We were greeted by Kimberly who had such a lovely and welcoming presence. Danny helped guide us through the menu. He was so nice and super professional. He really made the whole meal. We started out with the baguette and French butter, super tasty. Escargots tarte and bone marrow were all prepared perfectly. For dinner we had the bouef bourguignon and added from frites. The meat was THE most tender and flavorful I've ever had. The goat cheese whipped potatoes were perfect. Finished off the meal with the tarte tatin, which goes with foie gras ice cream. Couldn't get enough. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. read more

This review is based on a single visit on 5/17/2025. Our party of 5 rolled in for a dinner reservation at 5:30, and proceeded to order a variety of items from the menu. The following are my thoughts on the must-gets: - Baguette Parisienne: Get 2 if there are more than 3 people in your party. These are thin and perfect. Although they come with a really nice butter, a side order of Beurre de Rodolphe Le Meunier is a must. - Escargots en Vol-au-Vent: Succulent nuggets of escargot top small rounds of puff pastry. The sauce was garlicy and herby and so good, I sopped some up with the aforementioned baguette. - Boeuf Bourguignon: This was my favorite entree of the evening. The beef was incredibly tender to the point of nearly melty, bathed in a luscious sauce, accompanied by baby root veggies and an incredible potato puree. I would get this again and again. - Jidori Poulet Roti: This was an incredibly-presented dish - note it is for 2. I typically avoid chicken when I eat out because I tend to think of chicken as boring, but this was far from it. The chicken was so flavorful, juicy, and tender and the sauce was just ... chef's kiss. Our party had a really great time, and unanimously agreed we'd all be happy to come back again. 10/10 recommend! read more

Bar Boheme - Steak Bavette with Frites - French Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Since opening, Bar Boheme has been at the top of my list of places to try. The wife and I love French cuisine. The stars finally aligned and the wife and I and three of our friends met for dinner there on a Saturday night. We had made reservations for 6:15 and were seated immediately upon checking in. The dining room was spacious and was the beneficiary of the perfect, soft "golden hour" natural light that came in through the large West-facing picture windows. We ordered the Chicken Liver Pate, Rillettes de Canard, Moules au Safran, Soupe a L'Oignon, Steak Tartare, Le Hamburger, and Mary's Duck to be shared by the whole table. The table also shared a bottle of the 2018 Chateau de Pez, a left-bank Bordeaux, from the interesting, comparatively affordable wine list. The Chicken Liver Pate was served with a balsamic strawberry jam. While a liver pate may not be everyone's jam, Bar Boheme's was as good as it gets with its sweet and savory contrast. The duck rillettes, served atop a baguette slice, was similarly successful with its with apricot jam. The Moules au Safran was arguably the highlight of the meal! The mussels were plump, tender, and very satisfying. It was served with toasted baguette slices, and, as a result, we also ordered a side of frites, as well, and they were as good of fries as you'll ever find. Saffron was present, but it was obvious that it was used with precision as it provided wonderful aromatics and complemented the delicious liquid at the bottom of the bowl without overpowering the dish. In truth, I wish there was a lot more of the liquid because I likely would've ordered another baguette solely to soak it all up. The big bowl of onion soup looked like a French Onion Soup of my dreams; however, it didn't quite hit with me like I thought it would. It wasn't lacking in caramelized onions in the beef stock, but I did think it was out of balance and ate a bit too sweet for my personal tastes. The steak tartare was classic in its presentation. It was more coarsely chopped than some of the other tartares that I've had but I definitely liked it and thought it ate more beef forward. The Le Hamburger was 7 oz (pre-cooked) of juicy beef perfection topped with American cheese served on a brioche bun. It was "royale". Our final dish, Mary's Duck, was beautifully plated. The duck was Bar Boheme is a wonderful restaurant that I envision as a place I'll come back to again and again. read more

For sure one of my favorite new restaurants! I was thoroughly impressed by all aspects: the food, the service, and the French brasserie aesthetic. Food wise, everything HIT! Absolutely get the burger; great crust, juicy meat that is bursting with beef tallow flavor. You won't be disappointed. They really are serious that it is cooked with care. Don't forget the fries! Service, our server and support staff were meticulous. Water always topped off. Plates cleared. They even clean up the crumbs from all the amazing baguette. Frequent check-ups that are not too invasive but show a dedication to ensuring the customer feels well-attended to. He also went over the entire menu with great recommendations that did not disappoint and catered to our food preferences rather than recommending the most expensive thing on the menu. On top of this, my friends brought me a cake for my birthday and they even brought it out already sliced and plated. Such great attention to detail! My only schtick is that the tables are definitely set up like a French brasserie--really close together. Regardless, the restaurant is lively, clean, and I would say there's not a bad seat in the house. The staff clearly likes working there and the chef was kind enough to come out and chat with us for a moment before bringing out the highlight of the night...don't even give a second thought to ordering the foie gras ice cream. My second time at Bar Boheme was less than perfect! The service was extremely slow and there was a lack of attention to our party. We had to ask for more drinks multiple times, were left without water and a 3 course meal ended up being 2.5 hours. While the food was good I'm not sure it's worth it. My first experience was so fantastic so I'm hoping it was just a bad night. read more
