I recently checked out Bar Gemini for a post-dinner drink and we were happy that there were seats open for 2 on a Thursday night. My friend and I each got a glass of their lambrusco which was nice and on the drier side. I also tried my friend's smoked salmon dip which was rich and comforting, served with potato chips but the pricing felt steep at $20 for a small creamy dip. I love the idea of a wine bar with tapas but the food menu here didn't excite me much. The ambiance is warm and cozy, great for the chilly winter evening we went on. The vibes are nice and perfect for a date night but I'd probably only come again for drinks.

Absolutely immaculate vibes honey!! I could stay here for hours, which makes sense why the place is always so packed. I'm so upset that we had dinner before coming here because I saw they had two dollar oysters!! I almost cried! Great deals on wine but I can't wait to come back and try the food. Overall, the ambiance and menu is a must try here.

Nothing was bad but nothing was amazing either. I think my issue is the pricing felt a bit too high. We ordered grilled cheese, smoked salmon dip, and spritzes. Each food item was $20, which felt a bit steep given the grilled cheese came with no actual sides and the dip was quite small so we had good amount of chips remaining with nothing to dip in. The grilled cheese came with mustard and a few pickled veggies and they did pair well together. I do advise eating it while it's still hot because my friend and I took a while to finish it while talking and the texture got really greasy the more it sat. I think there are other bars in the city with an upscale vibe, better food and drinks for around the same price but bar Gemini is worth a visit if you are in the area

We came in late on a Tuesday or Wednesday night and were able to make it for last call on food! We just ordered a couple deviled eggs to try (their food menu is from Ernest) and got half a bottle of wine for a nightcap. Loved their service, their wine selection was good! I've heard good things about their grilled cheese so would love to try next time.

I love the vibes of this place. We sat at one of the booths, and it felt very cozy! The music was definitely an interesting selection (super diverse) but it was a good volume; we were all able to talk and hear each other normally. We tried so many different types of wines from the orange to the white to the red. Really loved the cab! Service was also fast and attentive.

Cute wine bar. The food was good but the service could be better. Seemed like the servers were very nonchalant. Overall if you're looking for a wine bar with small plates, bar Gemini is worth trying. We did make a reservation, so didn't have to wait to get a table!

Decent food with some really kind people serving behind the bar. It's a simple, trendy , straight forward kind of place. It's a small & intimate ambiance here which I liked. It was for sure cramped but it felt ok though maybe since it was Friday night.

Tried this place with a friend and enjoyed stopping by this bar, as I have been exploring wine bars in the area. We arrived right as they opened, and were able to get an outdoor table under a heater (which was very powerful, so we continued to enjoy our outdoor space even as the night got chilly!). We each ordered a wine flight, which felt like great value for the price at $25 for 3 generously poured glasses. And while the food was delicious, we found that it was quite expensive. In the future, I would likely come back just for the wine, and not the food. We paid $12 for a plate of cheese, which had 2 slices of cheese and a small amount of nuts. It was an additional $12 for salami, and $3 for bread. It seems like a very popular spot, and was completely full both indoors and outdoors by the time we were ready to leave.

Bar Gemini had a great selection of wines, the setting was relaxed and intimate. Grilled cheese sandwich and salmon dip was great - wish they had a more extended menu of bites, I would grab food before/after but otherwise the menu provides a solid girl dinner

Such a cute and nice spot tucked away. It's a smaller wine bar but the inside is so swanky. It's a great place for a date. The area feels safe. The service was great, attentive and friendly. I love that they have food on their menu. From what I tried, it was good quality too. We ordered some bread and deviled eggs. I definitely want to come back soon.

Went for drinks and had a glass of the sparkling red wine and grenache. They were okay. Got quickly seated with a group of 6 with no reservations on a monday evening. The food was fun but not worth getting twice. Got the cacio e pepe deviled eggs which were just boiled eggs with parmesan cheese shaved over it. The ice cream sundae was also underwhelming. Cute place tho!

Great spot, super classy even though it's a bit small. They did ask if we had a reservation upon arrival, but we were able to get seated immediately without one (I think we got lucky). All 3 of us enjoyed our wines, and loved their tinned fish selection and salmon dip. The menu is pretty limited overall. Would definitely come back to try more of the drinks and the food.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this spot is a must. The food was fresh and delicious, but let's talk about Nate the bartender, super cool, kind and welcoming. The themeing is so on point inside! Some of their drinks are interactive which adds on to the themes. My friend thought the wands were available for show and borrow and got charged $20 for the wand xD I gotta say the night we went, bartender was pretty slow... it almost felt like he forgot our order bc it would take a while and when finished making drinks it was actually another groups order. The bartender wasn't super busy either. The drinks were hit or miss, espresso martini they had on the menu is probably premade bc I asked to change the liquor and he said I wouldn't be getting the one that's on the menu. Tried the one on the menu and lowkey hated it, tastes watered down and bitter. Although I tried my friends "butterbeer" cocktail and omfg if you have to order something get that. It was so good. Drink costs were about $16-$18. For me, it was nice to try and a fun experience! But probably one and done ToT

Upon entering, Hi Hat reminds me of Golden Boy's location on on Green in SF. with a big bar seating area and a few tables. All that was missing was the walk-up window! I took a seat at the bar to place my to-go order. I ordered a whole pepperoni, a slice of cheese and a slice of spicy vodka (recommended by staff as their most popular). The staff was all friendly and helpful. My order took about 20 minutes. The star was definitely the spicy vodka! My partner enjoyed the pepperoni, said it was one of the best he's ever had. I liked it as well, but the sauce was a bit tart for me. The cheese was also good, but not something I'd order again when compared to the spicy vodka and pepperoni ones. The great thing about Hi Hat is that they also serve burgers, hot sandwiches and a few salads. The chatter about Hi Hat is all true, delicious pizza with an amazing crust. Glad to be able to add this to my rotation of pizzerias around!

We especially liked their Hazy IPA, but the Oktoberfest was very good too. The bartender said their Kolsch is a bit of a classic, and we liked it too, but it wasn't a stand out to us. From the outside, The Beer Hall almost blended into its surroundings - I almost walked right by if it hadn't been for the neon "The Beer Hall" sign. The taproom is quite spacious and could accommodate several large groups; however, the night of our visit was relatively quiet, perhaps due to the cold weather. Since there weren't any large tables, our group spread out over three smaller tables. As people came and went throughout the evening, it was convenient that we could each order our own beer and food at the bar. I selected an IPA from Fieldwork, a local favorite, and the beer stayed cold and refreshing throughout the evening. The food menu was limited, but I was craving something warm and salty to pair with my beer. For nearly $10, the fries weren't cheap, but the plate was piled high with some of the best fries I've had in a while. They were served piping-hot alongside two dipping sauces - aioli and ketchup. My friends sitting around me couldn't resist them either, and the mountain of fries disappeared in record time. The servers at the bar were very friendly and checked in on our group often. We spent a few hours enjoying our conversation and beer, overall having a fun, laid-back evening.
