Went to Bar Louie last night for trivia night with the girls. Had an amazing time. We had some drinks, apps and other food. Was a little disappointed on the first drink. It was very watered down, but the berry margarita was amazing! Our server was great. Checked up on us a couple of times and enjoyed our food while playing trivia. Parking was hard to find. Ended up parking in the way back, almost to the other corner of the hotel. Was a little worried since I wasn't going to the hotel but the bar but it worked out.

Lemon Drop Martini so freshly made. Hats off to the bartender

Nice happy hour spot for quick meal at end of the week. Wings always good and we really like the Salmon sliders. They have a variety of food items for appetizers which is good for majority. Drinks we're not good this day, however, it depends on the bar tender as I've been few times and has not been consistent. But overall, it's nice bar/grill for friends to get together for meal that won't break the bank. Also, music in background is nice touch but it can be too loud for some.

It was just OK, still new and has time to adjust. When you enter the staff is super friendly and very loudly welcomes you. We chose a seat at a booth and they had just opened, so it wasn't overly crowded. The server was attentive maybe a little to attentive as she kept coming over although our drinks and food were full but I'll take that over no attention at all. It was happy hour and it wasn't obvious as to what was included and the server wasn't 100% sure. My suggestion is to put in the menu the items included in HH so there is no confusion. We started with Spinach and artichoke dip which was just OK and needed salt. We also had the Calamari, which I couldn't eat as it was soggy and needed to be fried longer. And finally the Pickles, which were seasoned well and fried well and definitely will be ordered again. For my cocktail I went with the Lemon drop as I was intrigued that they added grand marnier. Definitely had a tasty taste but was a little sweet so for round 2 I opted for no sugar. The first attempt had to be sent back as lipstick was on the glass, I mean the full outline of someone's red lips ( I mean you've only been open for 2 days, so no pass on dirty glasses) but the 2nd attempt was yummy and not too sweet. The 3rd round whelp my server forgot to ask for no sugar so I patiently waited and it was still a great choice. For entrees we got the fish and chips and the quesadillas. I appreciated the fact that the batter for the fish was seasoned but wasn't a fan of the quesadilla's. Overall it was an ok experience, nothing to write home to mom about. Will i return, maybe but I wouldn't go out of my way. A few tips: 1. Add notes on what's on HH to the menu 2. Have your staff remove cell phones from the registers, especially when they constantly blast loud music as the ringer

Great atmosphere, although it was pretty slow for a Sunday afternoon. I did enjoy the drink and bar food.

Disappointing Kickin Bloody Mary! Where's the rest of it??

We decided to stop by the bar around 2:15 pm on June 1st for a Kickin Bloody Mary. The young lady behind the bar served Bloody Mary drinks with no garnishing. After ordering a second one each she served them the same. I asked about the garnish and she told me that they didn't have any seasoning for the cucumbers. She was going to charge us for the Kickin Bloody Mary. (I guess trying to pull a slick one on us). We're not stupid! I told her we were not going to pay full price for what we didn't receive. A gentleman had just came on shift and helped her with the correct price. The attached picture shows what we were served. I'm giving 3 stars because we've been here for lunch several times and the food was great. This past experience turned us off.

Gross swiss mushroom burger......artichoke chips were stale.......sad.....ughhhhh. there goes 60 bucks

We were excited to try the food, and were hungry. Our server appeared (I can't remember his name but he was a short guy with blond hair). I ordered a cocktail and my husband ordered beer to begin with. He went away and then came back asking my husband if he wanted some whiskey cocktail, and we corrected him that we had asked for a particular beer. No big deal. We then ordered the deviled eggs and shishito peppers, and the red fish and short ribs for entree. A lady brought us the drinks, and the deviled eggs. Our server swung by and then disappeared. We thought the shishito peppers were on their way. We waited for what seemed like a really long time and still no shishito peppers. We also noticed that each table had a carafe of water except ours. We were just given water once, and then our server never bothered to fill the water up. Anyway, we kept waiting since there was no sign of the server. At this point, we felt he might have forgotten the second appetizer and we just did not want it, but he was nowhere to be found. A man (not our server) brought out our entrees. We then told him that we had been waiting for our second appetizer and would just want to cancel it. We asked if we could get the biscuits instead. He brought out the biscuits within a few minutes. Now this is where it really annoyed us. Had our server just come over and said he had forgotten our shishito peppers, it would have been okay. Human. What he tried was act smart and dropped by saying the shishito peppers would be out to which we said that we didn't want an appetizer after an entree and had cancelled it. I almost felt like he was treating us as if he thought we don't really dine out or whatever and he could just make fools of us. This really didn't sit right with me. We asked him for water and he filled it up left. The food was above average. The short ribs were good but my red fish had been hammered! The biscuits were good. The deviled eggs were good as well. Anyway, we finished our meal, and got the check, paid, and were waiting to finish our drinks. The receipt was on our table. Also, note, it was not a particularly busy day with several empty tables. What our server did next was absolutely unacceptable. I think he wanted to see if we had tipped him after his awful service. We did, but not 20% as we always do because of the soddy job he did, not to mention his attitude. We paid 15% which I think was more than what he deserved now. Out of nowhere, and mind you, after being absent for long periods before, he just came by, grabbed the paid up bill from our table to our shock, while we were still sitting and talking, looked at the bill, turned towards us, and muttered something angry under his breath and walked away. I have never seen this level of entitlement and bad behavior. We left right away. We had been really looking forward to this meal but I would not want to go back. The food was good, but not great, and I would not want to put up with such obnoxious behavior as a paying customer.
