Robin was great. Best service I received all year. Order was prompt. I was in and out with time to spare on my lunch break.

I called Jacob (manager) about a bachelorette party dinner a few weeks ago. He said our number (15-20) was no prob and he was fantastic to work with. Our event was tonight and it was amazing. Our tables were ready when we arrived, our wait staff (Chandler and Lenni) were fantastic. The food and drinks were delicious as well. I don't think they could have gone above and beyond any more than they did. It's my only sister's first marriage and you exceeded our expectations. Thank you so so much! This was the second time we went to eat here. The first time we waited forever to get served. Tonight we have them the benefit of the doubt and went back. We shouldn't have. We waited way to long to be greeted when we came in the door. We also waited longer thank usual for the waitress to take our drink order. I ordered the Salmon with the cauliflower couscous. The salmon was dry and the couscous was so spicy that it made my throat burn. Paid $105 dollars for 2 burgers some wings and dry salmon. We won't be back. read more

Went there for the first time for my wife's birthday lunch. Service was good but the waitress was kind of uninformed and maybe inexperienced. We got Bloody Mary's but no beer chaser and when we asked about them she said "So you want a beer too?" And we are like, no... where is the beer chaser? She obviously was unfamiliar with the concept. When I explained to her that it was common practice to get a small tapper as a chaser with a bloody she just said "We don't do that here." That is like telling someone in Wisconsin that you don't serve ketchup with your fries or you don't get a bun with your hamburger. This policy needs to be changed IMMEDIATELY!! read more

We went for a drink and lunch on Saturday. Our server was friendly and efficient. We didn't like that they don't list drink prices. The drinks we had were $11 and a tub size. We had a total of two. They were good. We split a cheeseburger and a chicken burger. The cheeseburger came with fries and was good. The upgrade from a hamburger to a grilled chicken added $3 which brought a grilled chicken sandwich to $15.50 (pretty pricey for chicken) Instead of fries, my hubby upgraded to black beans and rice for an additional $2. Totally not worth it. One spoonful of rice and one spoonful of black beans. It makes no sense considering how cheap rice and beans are. So the bill for 2 drinks, water, and two sandwiches was $55 plus tax and tip. A little pricey for bar food. I'd go back for happy hour or specials but a little too expensive for what you get. read more

Worst service ever! We waited for over an hour for our food in a half full restaurant. I wanted to treat my daughter and my two granddaughters to a fun dinner. My granddaughters were starving. I talked to the waiter three times and the manager twice. When our food finally came it was overcooked and not as ordered. What a disappointment. Never again. read more

Our reservation was 20 minutes behind to start. After we were seated our waiter forgot 2 of the drinks not once but twice. The food was pretty good. My biggest complaint is the service and the atmosphere being a little dirty(table, floor, bathrooms and the worst part was the silverware that looked like it hadn't even been washed). read more

Bar Louie in Brookfield has excellent food and a great atmosphere. We will be back. A word of caution, do not use DoorDash to order delivery. I never received and order I placed on 11/12 and I'm out over $200. Called the DoorDash driver, he said "I don't know what to tell you, you have to call DoorDash." First "service" rep said he cannot process a refund. Asked him to call driver to arrange for me to receive order, he said his system cannot. 2022 and DoorDash employees cannot pick up a phone and call another DoorDash employee. Call ended, got a call back from "service" rep #2 asking to confirm my address and for permission to give it to the driver. That call ended, didn't hear back, called and spoke to rep #3, she couldn't refund either, transferred me to rep #4 who put me on hold for several minutes before saying she couldn't refund either. Got an email later that refund was rejected. Called and spoke to rep #5, asked to speak to a supervisor, they don't allow customers to speak to supervisors, they put my message in a queue for someone to contact me. Never got a call back. I've been trying to get a refund for days. I have since filed a complaint against DoorDash with the California Attorney General's office, Better Business Bureau and I have engaged a lawyer to recuperate my money. read more

We tried Bar Louie on a Saturday evening at 5:50pm and were surprised that there was no wait and several tables were open. That should've been our first clue that this was not going to go well. Often at that hour on Saturday, restaurants at Brookfield Square are already on a wait. We were seated promptly, and the waitress took our drink orders. A few minutes later, another waitress brought our drinks. Shortly after, the original waitress took our food order. It was about 6pm. That was the last time our waitress came to our table for 40-plus minutes. After 25 minutes, we were wondering where our food was, and realized that nobody around us had food, either, many of whom had arrived before we did. The waitress never came over to say anything, like perhaps, "Sorry for the delay" or "Your food will be here soon" or "Would you like another drink". Then, 35 minutes after we placed our order, the table next to us that was seated AFTER us got their food, which cemented my impression that the service was poor. After 40 minutes of waiting, I left to use the bathroom, during which time our food finally arrived. My wife told me upon my return that the waitress had asked my wife if she would like another glass of wine. My wife replied, "No, but he might", which was correct; I did want another glass to drink along with my meal (we were never offered water). After I'd completely finished my burger and tots (both of which were delicious) 10-15 minutes later, the waitress finally stopped back and then asked if I wanted more wine. I told her, "No, not anymore." She offered my wife a box for her uneaten portion, then came back and left the check. We liked the atmosphere. We enjoyed the food and wine. But we were clearly not important to our waitress. We might be back, but only because the food was good. I would not suggest going here if you are on a tight schedule. I've noticed other reviews here where patrons complained about the lack of good service. Unfortunately, we hadn't read those before going to Bar Louie. I wonder if their poor service has anything to do with my observation that they weren't particularly busy on a Saturday night in a location where where other restaurants were quite busy. read more

Have been to Bar Louie a number of times and had a nice experience. On our last visit the staff ignored my party for 15 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment of our presence or offer to take our drink order. Due to an inexcusable lack of courtesy and service, my party left for another establishment. When you consider the cost of going out for food/drinks and the staff's expectation of a gratuity, I don't think being recognized as a customer is asking too much. We will not patron Bar Louie again, there are just too many places out there with better service. read more

Came in last week with a couple girlfriends and sat at the bar. First time at any of the Bar Louie's, so I had to see what all the fuss was about! We sat right down at the bar and were immediately greeted by Jaycee! She explained to us the happy hour prices (fantastic by the way) and she answered all our questions. At first, we thought the prices of the drinks outside happy hour, were way too high, but after tasting the martinis that our awesome bartender made, I totally would have paid normal price for them! Met some friends at Bar Louie in Brookfield, when my wife and I arrived, our friends were already there and had a drink. We joined them at a high table next to the bar and waited about 15 minutes before a waitress came over. Although the place wasn't packed, we figured the bar may be light staffed so gave the benefit of the doubt. However, once we finished our first drink, and realized there were plenty of staff, we still didn't see our waitress for another 30 minutes. Eventually ordered and and waited 20 minutes to get our drinks (two of the mixed drinks were wrong). Ordered a third drink and waited, and waited, and waited for about 20 minutes...We noticed our drinks were waiting at the bar for the waitress to pick up but since we didn't see her anywhere, I went to the bar to pick them up myself...Now warm beers and crappy drinks!!!!! Ordered the bone-in chicken wings...Menu says 14 wings for $15.50...10 showed up on my plate! Would have said something to our waitress, but didn't see her again for a half hour!!!! Bottom line, SLOOOOOOOOOOW SERVICE, INACCURATE ORDERS (Food & Drinks), EXPENSIVE given the service, quality of food and drinks!!!! Will not be back anytime soon! read more

Service was OK and the food was not great. When they called us for our table The hostess just pointed us to the table and never left the hostess stand. Hamburgers were well done and dry, even though we ordered medium rare and medium. Wine pours were short. Atmosphere was fun and there were lots of people there. Tater tots were good. read more

The food was overall good and the service was great. The staff all seemed up beat and happy to be there, even the managers were dancing and singing.
