Unprofessional scheduling--- I'll let that go if that was the only complaint, but seriously, getting anything straight was a disaster. 3. THE BIG ONE. I had to cancel an appointment with 8 hours notice. Now, I wish it was because I was taking a beautiful all expenses vacay and well, gosh, just forgot the day I had the appointment. But no. I had a friend pass away from cancer yesterday-- only a year older than me with two young kids. They will not see another holiday with their mom, my friend. Not to mention, I have a very sick pet family member who needed to be seen by an emergency vet twice this week. Both have exhausted me financially, emotionally, psychologically, and physically. Probably not the best time to get your LASHES filled when you can't stop crying and your eyes are puffy? I don't know. Not a lash expert. Long story short. She wanted to charge me the full price for the appointment and I'm NOT okay with that--- I would have happily paid her for her NON time at half price... a luxury I wish I could demand when LIFE happens of my customers. Gosh darn.... wouldn't it be nice to schedule tragedy around super convenient times? Well, if you go with this lash artist expect ZERO grace!

Enter Bull Locks. My first trip there convinced my wife that I should return: and return I have. A friend of mine swears they aren't a "real" barbershop because he has to call in advance to make sure the person he likes is available. He says "I just want some crusty old guy that is always at the ready." But, for me? I don't mind calling a day or two in advance to get a great haircut at a good price.

"Yes, I like the color but want it closer to my roots, not an inch away." She then told me it could be fixed however I would need to pay additional dollars. Hair dresser/Erin ended up fixed my hair & basically filled the one inch gap for a six day old highlight & then charged me an additional $15.00. Customers shouldn't have to pay additional dollars to have their hair fixed for something that should have been done right the first time! I have been getting my lashes done my Angel for four years and she is truly the best. I drive from cherry creek just to see her! My lashes are perfect and stay in for three to four weeks, and look so natural! I've tried other places and no one compares. I would highly suggest bar nails and lashes - see angel for lashes!!! They also did my nails and did a wonderful job on dip and gel. Angel is amazing!! Also, angel can do so many options for lashes! Depending on how full you like your lashes, she has different options. You can get the Groupon option but it is only for a trial option and not the full lashes. But you can get a full for $200 for the first time for volume and then fills are either $60 or $80 depending ding on how thick you like. I usually get the $80 option and it lasts up to a month if I take care of them :-) Angel uses xtreme lashes and is also certified by xtreme. I think this is why mine have stayed on so long. :-). Plus she's super sweet and fun to talk to :-) Now go get your lashes done! :-) read more

I have been going here since 2017. This was my very last time. Angel and her staff were extremely rude and dismissive on this visit. I had my Punch/loyalty card like I have every other visit that was stamped ten times. On the front of the card it says receive ten stamps and receive a classic Pedicure for free. I presented the card and was told that I could not redeem this.... angel says they don't do anything for free! I told her It says it on the card... she absolutely humiliated me in front of several other customers because I was only trying to redeem exactly what was on the card. I read other reviews on here and this is not the first time this business has pulled this garbage. Sad because I have been a very loyal customer but treating any customer they way they treated me is unacceptable. I will take my business else where to a place that does not treat people disrespectfully. Shame on you Angel and the rest of your staff! read more

I was very hesitant about doing eyelash extensions after 2 bad experiences at other places. I went with a friend and thank God I had Angel!!! I am still obsessed & truly amazed at what a good job she did! She is a professional who knows what she's doing! I literally went home & took a mirror & looked at the lash line. It was perfection!!! It's been 2 weeks & only had to get them filled. If you ever want to try it, this is the place. They are all nice and the place is clean. Angel did a beautiful job! I highly recommend trying them if you have any reservations, it's worth it. I've also got my nails done here and my shellac has lasted 2 weeks before chipping, I'm very hard on my nails. They also did the exact design I asked for off my phone :) I'm not sure when they will get to serve liquor, but me & my nursing friends are all going to go. This is my go-to place from now on!!! Very welcoming, CLEAN and AWSOME crew! From the moment you step in they make you feel welcome! The Owners are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and relax. From the get go they ask what would you like and not pushy to get what you don't want. They explain clearly if they are extra chargers for any add ons that you want along the way. The Mani Bar is separate from the stations where you get full sets and more intricate services. The Pedi tubs are clean and cover with a liner each time a new costumer sits to get a pedi. Went with what I wanted(picture from pinterest) and they made sure mani and pedi match to the T and that I was pleased with the results. We had a great experience while getting our nails done today. We had great conversation and very relaxing pedicures (Mandarin & Lavender) in a very clean and beautiful business. They were able and willing to help me get rid of calluses on my feet that no other salon was able to file down. My mom also had a gel French manicure today that was very well done. Our only problem was that my mom's toenails were still wet when we left due to too many thick layers of polish on her nails. Unfortunately, the polish on two of her toes came off when we tried on shoes about an hour later. Since we were from out of town and didn't have a car to get back to the spa, we didn't worry about it. I would still recommend this spa. Just make sure your polish is dry before you leave...especially if you are going to try on shoes. LOL read more

Decided to come in and get a full set before my vacation. Was just going to do plain shellac, but Angel said that they had a new polish called Cats Eye that they were trying out and was wondering if I was interested. She did a fantastic job, and it looks super cool!! Only took about an hour for everything, and I love the results!! Angel did a great job with customer service and making sure I was happy with the results of my nails. I also love that they're taking all the necessary precautions with Covid, making sure everything is sanitized and wearing masks during your service!! Absolutely amazing! I have been here numerous times and they have always done an amazing job. The nails always last and look great. I went today and gave them a picture I wanted it to look like and they did great- it is identical if not better than the picture. I only wanted the middle 2 fingers but for all of my nails and they delivered. Angel went around the building looking for the closest color she could find and made sure I was happy every step of the way. She did a great job and I will ask for her every time. All of the staff is so nice and cares about the customers and exactly what they want done to their nails. I will continue to come here and recommend it to everyone! read more

The shop is really clean and the people were really friendly. They did a great job on my nails and pedicure. I'm always concerned about cleanliness and saw that they use a new file and buffer for every customer, and regularly clean their tools. They use a liner in the tub as well so that was reassuring for me to see. They have a ton of colors and powders that I'll have to try next time. I came for their happy hour that they have every Tuesday and Wednesday and got a discount on their services. I was able to also have a glass of wine with my mani/pedi so that was really nice as well. I almost never write reviews, but I was so happy with the mani/pedi I just got, that I had to. The pedicure is what I was really there for and did upgrade a little to help the tropical ($38), but splurged and also got a manicure ($15). I've been a lot of places and tried many different nail tech's over the years and this is the best pedicure I've had in ages. I have bad feet and she took extra care to get all of the dead skin off my feet and cuticles. The massage.....well, my eyes were rolling in my head. The first time I came here was okay, I could tell half way through that girl that was doing my nails was new, so you know, it's not going to be perfect. But the environment was so welcoming and so clean. And who doesn't like having a glass of wine while you're getting your nails done? I went a second time and was welcomed with the same clean, friendly environment and the nails i got this time were out of this world. I will not be coming back. I sat on a pedicure chair for 35 minutes without anyone tending to my nails. The water was cold. They kept taking walk Ins leaving me and my husband in chairs with no communication when they would get to us. They finally get to my husband and he asks them to start me first as I'm also waiting to have nails put on and they just say they will be with me eventually. They left my husband again to go do someone else's nails. We decided to walk out. The customer service is not even worth one star. So disappointing as I've come her many many time and was happy experience continues to get worse. read more

We were in the Castle Rock area for a week and were looking to get a pedicure. After reading the reviews online, we came to Bar Nails and Spa. We didn't need appointments and we walked right in. The staff and other customers were so kind and courteous. They humored the kids multicolor nail requests. I was looking for a basic pedicure and got a fantastic pedicure at a great price. Much better than what I can find in my hometown. The environment was fine. Clean and tidy. I am never in castle rock but if I find myself here again I'll definitely come back to Bar Nail and Spa. They were very welcoming and I have only had 1 other pedicure so I don't have a lot to compare it with. I don't typically paint my nails at all, I just file and go about my business. Angel did a great job and listened to what I said about trimming my nails (don't cut, just file). I decided on short notice to get a pedicure for my in laws upcoming 50th anniversary party since I decided to wear open toe shoes. Nails look great!!! I found this salon randomly while searching the web. It's about 25 mins from my house but what I really liked is they were able to squeeze me in last minute and that worked out great with my busy schedule. I initially scheduled a nail and eye lash extension appt but the service was so great I did a pedi as well. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Amazing lashes!!!! Angel is the best, always available when i need lashes, quick work and beautiful lashes. I've tried several other places in town and this is the only place i am consistently happy with, no heavy glues or chemicals. Angel knows what looks good on each client!! My natural lashes are still healthy, my eyes are never irritated. These extensions last longer than any others I have tried. She only uses Xtreme lashes and they LAST! Love this place! My nails always look amazing when they are finished. I get the dip and my nails never lift with them. I have been going here for years. Always professional and do a great job! I have a frequent user card and get $10 off after a few times. I am always on the go, so I love how I can schedule same day appointments. I've been coming here for years for manis, pedis, and lashes. I schedule appointments for lashes, and do walk ins for my nails. If you do walk ins on the weekend or in the evening, plan to wait because they always say yes, but you may be in a long line of customers. I try to go during the day on weekdays to get in and out quicker. They work extremely hard, and are very pleasant. If they mess something up, which has been extremely rare for me, they always immediately want to redo/fix it to make their customers happy. read more

I like coming to the salon to get my nails done. I always get a mani and pedi. The customer service is great! I also love how they have clean. I always attend the the morning appointments. Which means that they always have there employees cleaning. I always see them cleaning there tools. Which makes me want to come back! I love coming to the spa because it makes me feel comfortable to have the best customer service and see that they have cleaned their salon. Love this place for eyelash extensions! They are CERTIFIED. They educate how to take care of your lashes and what the proper application techniques are. And my lashes always last 3+ weeks. At another place, I had the problem of my extensions coming off in clumps--taking several of my natural lashes each time. Soon, I realized my natural lashes barely existing. Now, it's only the extension that falls off, never any lash clumps. I'm so grateful and feel so pretty when I get them done. Angel is the best! read more

I get pedicure every few weeks and this is the first place that didn't ask what type I wanted. The gentleman that did my nails wasn't very friendly or communicative. I didn't get any sort of massage with lotion and/or oil or anything-which is listed on the menu for the base pedicure. He went right over to another lady who needed her nails done and didn't let me know he was finished. It was very confusing. The colors on the menu aren't the same as what actually goes on your nails even though the numbers in the menu matched the bottle of gel being used. I watched one tech cleaned the tub even though plastic is used only hand soap to clean no disinfectant. Have no idea about the cleaning of the items used to do my feet. We will never go back there and you shouldn't either.
