Just horrible!!! I went to get a shellac and pedi with my friend. We are new moms and needed to get pampered. First of all, my shellac didn't even last 2 days. When I told them that it came out from my index finger, they made me identify who did it. I was just like...really? I was here 2 days ago. I recognized the lady that did my pedi and she acted like she didn't know me at all. Second, the lady that was going to fix it try to rip the rest of the shellac from my finger (since half of it broke off). It almost tear my whole nail out. I said it was hurting and she seemed frustrated that she had to do the whole nail again. Apart from this, they would argue with me on the color. They wanted to put whatever shade of gold they liked. I insisted 5 times on the color number. I told them I remembered it because I was JUST THERE 2 DAYS AGO. Well, now, after a week, the shellac is coming off. This place is a disaster. When my friend and I were getting our pedicures done, there was no massage, no scrubbing, NOTHING. We will not OBVIOUSLY be returning to this awful place. read more

I waited for no less than 20 minutes sitting in the non-working pedicure chair, with no water in the the tub. They walked past me at least 5 times, never filling the tub with water or putting the cover on. Someone finally comes over and rips out a cover, then gets yelled at by someone else who works there and drops it and walks away. Still no water in the tub... I was tempted to leave right then and there, but didn't want to make a scene. I decided not to even take the risk of doing a shellac manicure on my fingers. Finally a guy comes over and puts his stuff down and then asks me to move my feet so he can maneuver around me to put the cover on and add water. He adds the water, first blasting me with cold water, never asking about temperature. It's called bar nails and has a logo of a cocktail, yet I wasn't offered anything to drink despite expecting some hot tea or something based on prior reviews. The pedicure was okay...nothing special and the chair didn't work. Everything looks dirty and disorganized and the customer service was terrible. As an upscale business owner myself, I can't imagine my customers having this experience. I rarely say this, but I will never go back to this place and am now afraid of the cleanliness of the tools (or lackthereof). I'm not sure how this place stays in business or how anyone can trust them near your lashes! Other nail salons in castle rock have not been exceptional, but this one is by far the worst. read more

I went for a manicure, first time ever getting one. Started off by the lady trimming my nails but slightly pulling as she did this before fully cutting off the excess (which hurt!). The lady who did my nails then used the cuticle cutter and pushed way too hard. The skin around my cuticle area was bleeding a little bit and she didn't say sorry, she just went and got rubbing alcohol to sterilize it which stung like hell. She also scratched up my nails, literally, because she used the wrong grade filing sponge, scrubbing firmly, leaving scratch marks all over them. I didn't want a clear coat but I got one anyway to at least make the nails look smooth and normal, but the scratches were visible even underneath the clear coat. All they did was say sorry repeatedly but still charged full price. read more

I'm not one to normally leave reviews but it was hard not to this time. I got a groupon for lash extensions and decided to try them out for the first time. I know the extensions don't last too long and you have to get them filled every 2-3 weeks but mine lasted THREE days. I wish I could get my money back it's that bad. I woke up this morning and felt the roots of the extensions pulling up. I touched my eye and they came out in clumps. In addition to being a waste of money, the place was nasty. They take you to a room in the back that barely fits the two old reclining chairs that are covered in stained green sheets. All she did to explain things to me was try and sell me the more expensive set of lashes. I got the smaller set because it was my first time and I'm so glad I did. Basically, don't waste your money like I did. If you're gonna get extensions go somewhere nice and reputable. read more

Ladies, I know how it is. You move to a new place and you scour Yelp to try and find a new nail salon that does as well as your old one did. Bar Nails is the place. I only went to get my nails done, but they do a fantastic job. It is always clean, and their Shellac manicures have lasted the longest out of the 8 nail salons I visited before finding this one. The prices are fair, the staff is very friendly, and the layout of the place is perfect. They have more than enough nail color selections to satisfy whatever shade of blue I am always going for. I have sadly moved across the country but Bar Nails has set a high bar (see what I did there) for any nail salon in my new area! read more

2nd visit today. 1st visit was not worth it, so gave them a 2nd chance. Unfriendly, not a good quality mani pedi. It took everything I had to leave a tip and did only because that us what I do. I had an appointment and they did get me in on time and didnt juggle me around with other appointments that came in but literally because the business wasn't walking through the door. Didnt upgrade from the $21 pedicure to the $45 pedicure for a glass of wine, but they did offer a glass of wine for $5. White wine = something similar to a vinegar strawberry hill. Fanatic foot massage, friendly staff, sleek, clean salon. They offered me water within seconds of me sitting down. Great selection of colors, a variety of pedicures (basic to spa) Apparently, for wine drinkers (not me), there is even a pedicure that includes a glass of wine. Plenty of room to take all your bestirs at once for a spa day. I went today with my daughter (9) and they treated her like just as important of a client as anyone else. This placed RUINED my nails. I have really good nails get compliments on them all the time. Even the guy that did my nails here asked if I wanted a new full set. I told him no just shellac. I went here because it's close to my house I usually drive 45 min to Arvada to get my nails done but thought I'd give it try. FIRST he cut my nails all the way down I don't like short nails without even asking THEN after 3 days my nails were chipping and breaking. My nails are so weak and brittle now I want to cry. I will never go there again! I made an appointment for my daughter and I to have a manicure and pedicure. We arrived on time and picked out our colors. The girl doing my pedicure did a horrible job. She barley scrubbed them with the cuticle remover and never took off any of the skin around my heels with the scraper and you can forget about the lotion. The whole pedicure took 20 min. After trying several nail places around town, this one has definitely become my regular. I never had a problem just walking in. They are very honest with their wait times and I appreciate that. I walked in once and they said 40 mins so I simply came back another time. If they say 10 mins, they actually mean it!! Which is my biggest pet peeve with nail places the "10 mins" that just keeps turning into 10 more minutes. I've never felt rushed and everyone is always polite. My gel manicure lasts at least 10 days so that's pretty good. read more

Stopped here when visiting CR & was desperate to get a rebase. It's a VERY VERY dirty salon!! If you walk to the back & use restroom, everything is messy, dirty, & sloppy. I had many problems with my visit here. Worst nail salon in Castle Rock. I made an appointment with my mom, so we weren't even walk in customers. We wanted Mani and Pedi. I asked the worker for help matching color and she refused to help, just simply said "no" and went on her way. Once we got to our manicure we noticed every other party had been offered wine or beer, while we weren't ever even offered water. I was cut 4 times, twice on my toes and ridet on my fingers. One cut was so bad she couldn't get it to stop bleeding. For a week it kept breaking back open and scabbing, ruining my color and causing immense pain. After only two days I had the gel on two fingers peel off and the other fingers have discolored. Worst $50 I have ever spent. read more

Run away! This salon is horrible. I had dip nails applied and they are the worst I've ever seen! The top coat has bubbled and they look awful. The service in the salon was rushed and rough. My technician was trying to service multiple people, handle walk in traffic and do my nails. At times she was looking behind her while filing my nails. I asked the manager for a refund. He refused. I asked for his name and he refused to give it then he hung up on me. I suspect the technicians are unlicensed. This is a terrible salon. Go anywhere but here! read more

She didn't protect the under eye area, she used the same length lashes all the way across, within a couple days they were turning upside down and falling off and my eyes were burning & watering for over an hour afterward. AVOID THIS PLACE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! They have no clue what a pedicure is or what they are doing. I had to ask for their tools to cut my own toe nail cuticles. The lady kept asking if I was ok I said yeah I removed the dead skin that you were supposed to. They didn't even clean the toe nails like they should. Then I asked the lady for a brush with nail polish remover because she got nail polish on my cuticles of my toes and she got an attitude.
