Nails and toes were done well. I like that they line the tubs with plastic for each use. Very clean place. However, I made an appointment for 2 (my 10 year old and I). When we arrived, 15 min before our appointment, they were busy and I understand waiting a bit. But they didn't reserve 2 staff to do both of us at 11:30. We ended up having to take turns. One by one while the other waited. My daughter was very bored. We sat next to each other during the pedis (while waiting for each other's turn) but we're completely at different manicure tables later on. Wasn't the mother-daughter day we thought it would be. The should have managed for appts to have proper number of staff available. The walk-ins should have waited. read more

I went here for the first time and got a pedi and a no chip. The pedicure was subpar, there was barley a foot or leg massage. They had a good selection of color but my no chip is already chipping after a week. I've never had it chip before, especially this early after getting them done. I recently moved to the area and I tried bar nails about 6 months ago. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. i started my pedicure and the gentleman doing it was so easily distracted that it was taking him forever just to remove the polish, I actually ending up leaving after polish was taken off, it appeared that I was going to be there a lot longer than I had hoped. anyhow, I decided to try the place a second time and ended up getting a pedicure and no chip. as for the pedicure, it wa ok, but as I looked close there was polish on my skin around many of the nails. I then had my manicure, the polish looks good however the rest of the treatment was sub par, nails were rough at tips, did not clean under the nails, barely did the cuticles and barely put any lotion on and didnt even massage entire hand, but how could you if you are only doing it for a few seconds. terrible experience overall and will not be returning again. read more

I really enjoy coming to this hidden gem. The atmosphere is inviting. There are loads of color options. Some of, certainly not all, are very pleasant and engage in conversations. I deducted one star because my satisfaction with the No Chip Manicure varies. Some technicians do it better than others so the consistency is lacking. Other than that, I enjoy Bars Nails. read more

Today was my first visit to this nail salon and I got an upgraded pedicure, the Milk & Honey Exotic Pedicure. The pedicure was great and the color selection was phenomenal. There was well over a 100 different colors to choose from, which far surpasses many other salons I have gone to in the past. They actually line the water bowl with a plastic bag for sanitary purposes, which I think is a great idea. The nail techs were all very personable. I would highly recommend trying this nail salon. This is my new favorite nail place! Tried it out today with my mom. Great selection of polish colors, friendly staff, and no waiting. We both got the peppermint pedicures and it's definitely worth it compared to any other salons "basic" pedicure for a similar price range. Upon calling I asked for Louis because of a reference that he does a good job. When arriving I was questioned by a gentlemen asking who referred me, I answered him and he said ok cool. Louis comes out asks how I know him, I answered just as I did the previous gentlemen. He says who, I answer him, he then says he doesn't remember and asks to see a picture of the person who referred me. I show him, but who cares!! I'm here as a paying customer and someone thought enough to refer you and then I'm questioned. I don't like that one bit. The polish on my toes are sloppy, he literally rushed through my no chip manicure also. He put barely enough water for me to soak my fingertips in, didn't use any cuticle soap for my manicure. Took both hands out of the water, took the towel that my hands were resting on, now I'm having to hold my hands off of the desk so that they aren't on the bare desk. He rushes through the cuticle part, uses a drill because I still have skin on my nails before buffing them. He sees the look on my face, and explains why he using the drill and I then say I don't like the drill. After buffing my nails he tells me not to touch anything. Doesn't allow me to wash my hands, doesn't clean my nails with alcohol or anything before applying the base coat for no chip. He rushes through that, at some points not giving the machine enough time to dry my nails between each coat. My nails look horrible and when he asked how do I like them, I said they're ok and he asked why and I said because you rushed through the the whole thing/ some spots don't have paint on them. I like my nails to have paint down to the cuticle so that no part of my natural nail isn't painted/ including the sides of my nails. Is that a crime to ask for?! He even at one point after cutting down my nails asked if they looked ok, I said shorter due to me having broken one nail and wanting them all to be even. He says no it's ok, I then said no I want them shorter and he with sass said ok fine. I don't appreciate being treated as if I'm bothering someone and that I'm being pestered in how I heard of him, especially when I'm a paying customer. Never coming here again. read more

Was looking for a new nail place in the area and thankfully I think I have finally found one that makes me happy! Super clean place (they line their tubs with plastic after every use) and very friendly people. Had the lavender pedicure and it was heavenly and quite reasonably priced based on the amount of time/attention we received. Gentle but firm enough to really get a great massage out of it and was asked a few times (when I wasn't drifting off) if the pressure was right. Never felt rushed and we were walkins! Daughter and hubby pretty much had the same great compliments. Will be returning for sure! read more

So the did a FANTASTIC job on the nail shape and I didn't have to wait that long but I specifically asked for glow in the dark nails. They pulled out like 5 tubes of glow in the dark powder and I picked the royal blue one. I asked him before during and after would it glow in the dark and he kept saying yes. I get home and my nails don't glow. If I had time I would go back and get them done again. read more

I just had a no chip mani and pedi for the first time and the man who did my nails was on his phone (making calls and texting) and talking w his colleagues the whole time (rolling his chair over, leaning over...)- my service was second thought. I have been coming to this salon for over a year now. I used to love it. I would willingly drive at least a half an hour just to come here, because my nails turned out great and really held up. I'm sad to say that after my experience the last time I was there I will not be coming back. Due to the holidays I had been putting off my fill in and was in DESPERATE need of one. I knew my nails were pretty rough, but the nail techs reaction was plain rude. She rolled her eyes when she seen, and then she got to work. She kept making faces, and complaining to the other girl (in another language) next to her the entire time. She even made fun of my nail bed. It was so uncomfortable, but I chose to not say anything just so I can get my nails finished and leave. When she was done, she was very rude and cold when ringing me up. It was very shocking because of how friendly this place usually is. Barely after a week my no chip polish literally cracked all the way to the fake nail, and a huge chunk was missing. The rest continued to chip and flake off on every single nail the weeks following. My real nails starting separating from the fake ones. It was literally the worst nails I have ever got done. This upsets me, because the owner Tony is very nice, and you can tell he loves what he does. He runs a great business, and the fact that his employees are rude, and makes the customers feel this way disgraces his business. Hopefully the girl will get some better people skills. I'm giving two stars because of how great Tony is. read more

This place is AWESOME! 5 of us went here the day before my daughter's wedding for Mani Pedis. We were all treated like royalty. The staff was so friendly. The place was immaculately clean. We were all so pleased and impressed. It is always a gamble trying out a new salon and we sure got lucky with this one. I actually visited this nail shop on the bases of the yelp reviews which were stellar. However I can't say my experience was quite the same! I was told that the acrylic full set pricing was $30 so I got the acrylic nails although I was told they wouldn't last as long and they would take longer to dry. I originally was going to get a French manicure but I changed my mind midway and decided on a more natural look. The nail tech accommodated the changed and the request. The reason why I am writing a bad review has to do with the honesty --I was told one price but when I checked out he claimed he was giving me a discount and charged me $45 how is 45 dollars a discount to a supposed $30 service??? Doesn't add up? I paid the money and quickly left but I will never return. In the future it would be nice to have your pricing posted especially for first time customers. I don't mind paying money when it comes to good service but I am bothered by lies and deception. read more

Came here once to get a full set, and I'm not sure what to think. A man who I believe is the owner came and introduced himself to me and my friend, and he was very nice and social. I appreciated that he took the time to talk to us, because I have never had that happen in any nail salon that I have been in, so I thought It was very nice and made me feel that my business was valued. However, the actual man who did my nails was the least professional person I have ever encountered. He was texting on his phone, and would start to do my nails and would go back to texting right in the middle of doing my nails. He did this at least 4 or 5 times, and at one point actually got up and left me sitting there while he went and did something else. I understand if you have something you need to tend to, but the least he could have done is politely have told me that he would be back in a minute. He could have apologized, or explained to me why he left or why he was texting, because I understand it could have been something important, but he gave me no explanation and honestly I came to the conclusion it wasn't important and he was just being rude and unprofessional. I work in customer service/retail and it's important that my customers come first. I tend to them while I'm on the clock getting paid, so the fact that good customer service is not a priority to this employee is absurd.
