What a great gem on west 6th. Had this on my list of places to go and glad I finally made it in. Made a reservation for 6:45....moved up to 5:45 which was perfect as they have Social Hour between 5-6:30pm daily. Discounted drinks and food. I got a glass of Getrank Gruner Veltlner -$11 normally, $7 Social hour. Also got the Sambal Crab and Chips and Taiwanese Duck roll. Both were delicious I think the duck roll was a tad my my style just due to it not being as rich. The crab and chips were tasty but kinda heavy. You can see the real crab in the dip and that was great. The duck roll came with a soy chili dipping sauce that was spicy! Not my cup of tea, and they were able to make it without cilantro. Lovely! Hey have a parking lot around back, not too big maybe 15 cars or so. Outdoor seating is lovely as it's shaded so as the sun goes down, no one is melting in the sun. Al took care of me and they were great. They provided great recommendation for food and no complaints.

This was my first visit to Bar Peached, and I stopped in with my daughter for Social Hour. Since we arrived early, it wasn't crowded. The Margarita De Peached was tasty. For food, we ordered the crispy potatoes, the fried fish tacos, and the Thai noodle salad with shrimp. The fish tacos were so flavorful that I ended up ordering a second one. The crab dip had too much cream cheese and not enough flavor. The Thai noodle salad, while fresh, was on the smaller side and a bit bland, but the shrimp was tasty. One disappointment was that the outdoor fans weren't working. At 80 degrees, a little airflow would have made the experience much more comfortable. I also wish the menu offered a few more healthy options, as many items leaned toward fried. Thankful for the yummy complementary birthday dessert - sticky rice with mango dessert. It was delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks, and despite a couple of drawbacks, I will definitely be back to try other items.

I came here with a friend right at opening and it was already filled with people. This place is super popular is usually booked out with reservations. Luckily, we were only here for a quick dessert after a swim at Barton Springs so they were able to seat us. The restaurant is super aesthetic and cozy and the service was great. We were notified of a secret menu item and went with the yuzu strawberry pop bingsu. It was delicious and exactly what we were looking for. Next time I would love to try the actual good menu because everything that came out looked and smelled amazing.

The restaurant was full on a Wednesday night however outside seating was available. Service is super friendly. Food was okay, just a little overpriced for the amount of food. Korean chicken wings - tangy and spicy, wish the wings were crispy as the skin was a little rubbery Udon pesto - not enough flavor, noodles were very mushy Taiwanese duck roll - a little dry but good sauce inside, the chili sauce was overwhelmingly spicy

First of all who knew Bar Peached's happy hour was so fire ?? Not this girl, but now I know! Like everyone stated parking can be hit or miss! So if you are going for happy get there as they open so you can have a spot in their lot in the back! Happy Hour is from 5-6:30! Items in the happy hour ranged from $4.50 tacos to $9 apps! I really enjoyed the margarita de peached! Little spice for your life! They have habanero salt(which was not spicy to me! Wish we had tajin) All in all I dont think you can go wrong. The only thing I probably would not order again would be the crab chips... it was ok but not great. Looking forward to my next happy hour there!

Parking: There is a small lot in the back. Had reservations for brunch at 11:30am and two cars had no problem finding a spot I had the BBQ Pork Benedict and would highly recommend it. It was flavorful and I loved that it was on a scallion pancake. The Nutty Professor cocktail is a must try. It was a great balance of coffee and hazelnut.

I've been meaning to try Bar Peached for a while, and I thoroughly enjoyed both things i ate!! the pesto udon was a pretty straightforward dish, with tender chicken. simple but delicious the matcha ice cream was phenomenal, every addition served a delightful purpose - from the toasted coconut pieces to the condensed milk, it was the perfect dessert! need to come back to try everything else, def better than their sister restaurant: peached tortilla

Exceptional service and food brought to you by Bar Peached. This place and I go way back, from when I first moved to Austin. Discovering this restaurant has been a treat and a place I go to celebrate anything. I took my girlfriend's who were from out of town and they were so impressed. Shout out to Patrick and his team for making us feel welcomed and dining us. We shared many appetizers, one of favorite dishes was the pork buns and crab dip tostada. I can't get over how delicious everything is! It was a great spot to dine in on a Friday night. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.

Came here for a little galentines dinner and the vibes were so cute!! I got the pesto udon bowl with marinated chicken and peanuts for $18; and the noodles themselves were very thick and filling, however, the flavor was lacking a lot. The chicken was good but it had absolutely no pesto flavor whatsoever.. My friend also ordered the same and for some reason her bowl had a less vibrant green "pesto" color, proving inconsistency in their dishes.. ALSO- I asked for a side of sriracha sauce and was charged .50 cents for it. Not that it's expensive but rather they didn't let us know that it was an extra charge as I would not have gotten it had I known!! Wouldn't really come back.

The good: Amazingly delicious food (especially the Korean Galbi Beef!), friendly hostess and servers, and champagne was top notch! Pricing was good as well. The bad: The Margaritas were not good and the "spicy salt" wasn't spicy or red as expected. The waitress got so busy with little to no help in the interior section of the restaurant. She didn't get a chance to come by and ask the table if we wanted dessert. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the lack of dessert was felt. The Galbi Beef, while delicious, was a lot of work to cut from the bone and should have come with a sharper knife or scissors (like traditional K-BBQ). Overall Advice, go for the food (and champagne), never order a margarita, and add the dessert while ordering the mains. Four Stars.

I love Bar Peached so much. It's a perfect fusion of flavor profiles. It's always a beautiful experience. The staff here are always the nicest most pleasant folks. They always explain the flavor profiles on the new dishes and make order a complete breeze. The pork belly buns are among the best I've had. All of the Asian/Italian pasta mashups are amazing. The brussel sprouts are always spot on too! Their brunch cocktail selection is amazing and I've developed a new found love of beet juice. Over all I would say this is one of the spots in the city for Brunch. Do yourself a favor and check it out! You won't leave with any regrets.

Bar Peached has been an Austin staple for quite a long time now and the team is also responsible for other great local eateries like the Peached Tortilla. Located off West 6th, the location is in a quaint neighborhood just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown and covered by a series of majestic oak trees. Parking is a little tricky - there's some unreserved parking stalls behind the restaurant that you can get to if you loop around Pressler, otherwise you will have to look for neighborhood parking either on the same block or just north of West 6th. The ambiance inside is cute and rustic and feels like a renovated old cottage home, complete with quirky colored furniture and creaky hardwood floors. The service staff is attentive and skilled at what they do and will give you a great rundown of the menu. I've been a few times, most recently for the brunch in which they often have a decent level of availability relative to some more mainstream eateries which could end up demanding a long wait time. Their menu is relatively concise, but frankly jam-packed with delicious options. For the quality of food, I think Bar Peached is priced quite reasonably and their dishes pack a ton of flavor while also feeling relatively healthy. My favorite brunch menu item is the BBQ Pork Benedict, just be prepared for the scallion pancake and not your traditional English muffin / toast base. They have a good range of both savory as well as light and refreshing menu options, and I'd recommend you try to family style it in order to try as many menu items as possible (i.e. switch between a thai noodle salad and a heavier set of steak and eggs, just to go back to some brussel sprouts before launching into chicken and pancakes). Be mindful that indoor seating is somewhat limited, and a lot of the restaurant is actually outdoor seating. This wouldn't be an issue if Austin didn't have 6-month summers, but here we are so make sure to dress accordingly so you're not drenched if sitting outside.

Chimichurri Fried Fish - large platter with about 6 tortillas with sriracha mayo and chimichurri on the side
    Matt L.

Highly recommend: -Brussels sprouts: the way it's roasted and drizzled with this sweet sauce makes it a meaty starter with a pop of unexpected flavor. -The fish taco: it's a sizable whole fish with a few delicious sauces to dip on the side. Tortillas are plenty for you to split this with 1 other person. Ambiance: There are different zones to this place. There's the outdoor seating, the below level seating (quieter, calmer), and main level seating (bar and tables, livelier). Choose the area based on what kind of ambiance you're going for.

Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.
